Upon Vestia: Chapter Two

Asher looked at Heny for a long moment, trying to decide whether it would be a good idea to move her. The seat didn't look terribly comfortable, but then again, she'd probably wake up on a murderous rampage (again) if she woke up in a new place. He didn't want to cause her any more stress, not when she was in this condition.
Noticing the edge to Vestia's voice, he asked, "What's wrong? Did Ellie do something again?"

"What you think?" She remarked in a annoyed tone. "How Heny doing by the way?"

The sleeping keeper slightly twitched when Vestia said her name.

The android laughed and shook his head. "I had hoped I was joking about Ellie. Heny is in reasonably good condition, physically. Unfortunately, she's suffered almost complete memory loss, and so far has only remembered that she despises her ex boyfriend. She has been every bit as stubborn and angry as you'd expect."

She sighed, "Great... The drama doesn't end does it?"

"You're a smartship. I'm sure you've seen worse," Asher told Vestia lightly. He found an emergency blanket stowed under a seat, and covered Heny with it.
At this point, Ellie reached the shuttle bay, carrying the winged fox in her arms. "Oh, hello," she said.
"Hello," the android replied, suddenly very interested in the Ellie drama, "What in the world are you doing with the unconscious fox spirit?"
"She-He-It tried to teach me a lesson, went nuts, and fainted," the human replied. "I was just going to haul it to you guys in a shuttle so you could fix it up, but I guess I won't need to do that now."

Heny awoke with a panic wth the new voice, forgetting she was buckled in still as she flayed slightly.

Vestia said nothing to Ellie, obviously still in a sour mood.

"Oh, you're awake. It's okay, you're just in the shuttle, and that's Ellie. She's not going to hurt you." Asher said to the Keeper. He gave Ellie a slightly threatening look, warning her to not cause trouble. "Ellie, let's take the fox to sickbay, and I'll have a look at them. Heny, how about you come along?"
The human nodded. "Let's go."

Heny warily unbuckled and stood briefly before her legs gave out and made her land back in the seat with a Yelp.

Crazy jumped off his chair and came over to her, ignoring Ellie and her fox. "Take it slowly."

eyeing the cat she mumbled, "My legs hurt.."

"Not a surprise, considering how long you didn't use them for a week. Since you're still recovering, perhaps you should stay here and rest," the android said, "Alternately, I could help you to walk, but we both know you don't let people help you."

"In that case." Crazy jumped up beside her. "I shall sit here until you feel you're ready to get up."

Heny shot a annoyed look at Asher, "Well with that tude why should I ask for your help?" She remarked, blinking in surprise at the cat that decided to stay with her.

Asher paused for a moment, considering her question. "It would seem that my fundamental disagreements with your personal beliefs are causing me to be passive aggressive. I'll attempt to be more professional in the future." He smiled at Crazy, "Your idea seems reasonable. Perhaps you two should stay here, as you suggested."

She said nothing, obviously in a sour mood still she rolled her stiff neck wishing for something more comfortable.

*blink* Crazy stared at him, confused. As if there was a debate on the matter. "You can go take the fox and that three-winged loon(Ellie) to the med bay. I don't think there will be anything urgent to be found here."

Asher nodded at Crazy, then went with Ellie to try and help the Anamcara if at all possible. "So, what do you know about their--the fox's--current condition?" he asked her.
"Not much," said Ellie. "It collapsed, I took it to the shuttle bay."
"You didn't scan it?" the android asked.
"I don't know how this ship's scanners work!"
"You could have asked the ship, you know."
"The ship was busy throwing a temper tantrum. She wouldn't tell me anything, I'm sure."
"Hmm," the android said noncommittally. He had no desire to take sides in this fight.
They reached sickbay, and Ellie set the Anamcara on a bed. She glared up at one of Vestia's cameras and, once her hands were free, gestured rudely.

A droid snuck up behind Ellie and gave her a shock since Vestia had no other way of revenge.

"Ow!" yelped Ellie.
Asher looked up at Vestia's camera, "Could you not electrocute the human, please? I'm trying to analyze this unusual life form right now, and sounds of pain are very distracting."

"She started it." Vestia huffed.

"She escalated it," the human hissed.
"Go argue in the hall," Asher said, "I'll mediate your dispute later if you want, but right now I'm busy."

"You think I'm some lower life form." She spat, her voice sounding like if she could she would cry.

Ellie blinked, surprised by the ship's emotion. "Honey, I think everybody on this ship is a lesser life form. Don't take it so personally."
Asher started scanning the fox, glad that the electrocution seemed to have temporarily paused.

"And it not right." She snapped.

"You care too much about what people think. It's not healthy, and you should talk to a psychiatrist about it," Ellie said. "Now I, on the other hand, know that everybody hates me, but I also know not to let it crush my self esteem. You can be the same way, if you learn to ignore my hate."
