Upon Vestia: Chapter Five

"All right... right, we'd better get him to the med... the med bay," Asher said. "And... and do some tests to see what's needed."

Shane took her to her room and put her to bed then heading to tend to the cuts and blood before he would return to watch over her

Starr nodded and moved to help get Kay to the medical bay.

Matt of course helped, and fretted. Gone were any smiles or jokes, he just looked pale and slightly sick with worry.
He couldn't do this again, he just couldn't deal with it. Damnit Kay, why did you have to drink so much of that crazy strong magic whiskey? That was the kind of irresponsible thing HE was meant to do, not you. You're meant to be the smart and responsible one, the designated driver, the one who looks disapproving at everything remotely fun.

Shane would be there when she woke, an extra sedative patches just in case.

Kay's blood alchohol level was not great, no wonder he was unconcious. Probably not life threatening, but he'd need fluids and constant monitoring to ensure it didn't get worse.

Once they reached the med bay and set Kay on a bed, Asher went to find a blood tester. "I'll make sure... sure Kay is fine. Please... please try to not worry," he told Matt. He was worried too, but he did his best to hide it.
He returned to Kay and pricked his arm with the blood test thing, then bandaged the injury very quickly, not wanting Kay's blood on anything.

Starr moved away once they had Kay settled. She wanted to go and check on everyone else.

Matt flatly refused to leave his brother's side while Asher worked, staying silent and just watching, waiting for some sort of good news.
He winced a little when Asher drew blood, yeah he was paranoid too.
"Wh... what are you testing?"

"Blood alcohol level," Asher said calmly. "I'm going to clean up this blood, and then connect him to a fluid feed and... and keep a close eye on him. If you can get Starr... Starr and Corvus to come over here, that would be good. Also," he asked quietly, "Did you get any blood on yourself?"

Matt nodded. "It's fine, I can clean it up." He frowned and looked to starr. "Why do you need... ?"

Quinn had holed up in her room after carrying Vanessa there, afraid of others' persecution, she made sure her door was locked as she tried to begin to tend to her mentor.

The android whispered in Matt's ear, "Kay told me about... about his condition. I need to make sure everyone is... is safe."

Heny would groggily in time come to, some what growling in rage.

Corvus would sense another of his kind and searched for it to only find Vanessa in Quinn room, "V-vanessa?"

Matt stared at him, wait what? For a moment he couldn't actually form the words and then whispered frantically back "He TOLD you? I'll be fine, as long as everyone cleans themselves up they should be fine."

He looked to Starr "Hey Starr? You got a little blood on ya. " He found the sanitizing wipes. "Here." and handed those over.

As soon as Corvus entered the room, Quinn's hackles raised and she let off a nervous growl, facing him. Vanessa's face looked over. She was tired and her body seemed a bit more opaque and did not have as much of a magicka glow as before. "Corvus." She replied back softly, "Is Heny alright...? I saw Shane take her, but then..."

He ignored Quinn as a look of relief was on his face, "S-she free? Sorry but before she...surrendered she chose to block me so i can't sense her." He had this sour look, ignoring quinn he walked over, "What happen to you?"

"As... as the other medic on this ship, it's important that I'm aware of such things," Asher said quietly. "If you could please tell Corvus too, I would appreciate... appreciate that immensely."

Matt didn't look totally convinced by that explanation, and he wasn't really sure how he was going to discuss this with the bird. He just had to hope he was sensible enough to wash blood off himself, most people were right? He nodded. "i.. i'll try?" He wasn't really that willing to leave Kay though. "He's gonna be okay right?"

"I used a method of escape that was quite risky, but a failsafe. Unfortunately the gateway I used broke and... injured me in the process." She seemed to hesitate on information of her mirror, as if it were a sort of secret. "Heny is safe. Merith made sure she returned to Vestia." Her eyes widened softly, "Listen, Corvus, you need to be sure Heny does not give herself up. Merith gave away so much to make sure she remained free from them. She can't be allowed to give in. And..."

She gasped, trying to sit up but winced slightly as she did, "There's... a spy on this ship. One of us is not who they seem to be..."

"Thank you. I'd do it myself... myself, but I need to stay here to keep an eye on Kay." Asher gave Matt a reassuring smile, "Kay will be just fine."

Starr caught the wipes and came back over a little as she cleaned her hands up though she couldn't do much about the little bit on her shirt now. "I can let Corvus know to clean any blood off. Does Kay have something I should know about?"

Matt looked at Starr and looked awkward. "Uh... yeah, you should just.. make sure you clean it all off okay?"

Damnit, he wasn't nearly so good at lying as Kay was.

Starr raised an eyebrow then nodded. "I feel sure he will roll me in time, maybe when I finish his amulet." She said then turned away Covos, make sure you didn't get any of Kay's blood on you please.
