Upon Vestia: Chapter Ten

Matt pulled him into a tight hug. "it's okay..." He sounded more like he was trying to reassure himself.

Thaila sighed softly, "Thats behind us okay?" He reassured him, weakily smiling, "I'll..admit as annoying as that was, I...didnt mind those broadcasts." He flushed red deeply.

Matt nuzzled into him tentatively with his forehead, as he did still have a broken nose after all. "Shall we go somewhere more private then?"

"Yeah, I'm sure they'll think of it when they see this place," Ellie agreed. "We can be totally lazy about setting up, how about we bring some craft supplies up here and let people decorate during the party if they want?"

"Okay, but we do need to set the chairs up at least." Shane said and headed off to start taki g the chairs away from their 'resting' place against the walls to keep from being tossed in hard maneuvers

"Are you doing this in attempts to get out of color picking?" He teased.

Matt shrugged. "Only a little.. that and I really enjoy your company... " ahem, yes.. company.

He snickered, "Your mind is starting to wander again." He whispered into matt's ear.

"yeah it does that.. " He smiled back. "You're very distracting."

"Oh really?" He smirked, "But I'm not the one with the teasing thoughts." He giggled while pulling away.

"i'm sure if I could read your mind you'd be returning the favor."

"Okay," Ellie said, getting up off the floor and coming over to help him. "You're too nice to the others though."

"Asher?" said Vestia, "Your adorably vicious boyfriend is hiding from everything. You should take him some food, I don't think hunger is gonna help his attitude much."

"You could send a bot," the android suggested.

"He'll punt a bot if Isend one in," Vestia grumbled.

"Okay, I'll take care of this then. Thanks for telling me," Asher told her. He went to get some food from the galley, then went to find Kay.

Thaila blink innocently, giving him a playful kiss before standing up, "Mmm, surprise you havent tried sooner honestly."

Kay was reading in his room, which was about all he could do. It was helping calm his temper at least, escaping into trashy pulp adventure novels. Oh they were terrible and melodramatic, but they were an easy read for a tired brain.

Matt laughed and kissed him back. "Honestly? it never occurred to me." He grinned as he stood up. "So thanks for the idea!" He picked up the catalogues. "We shouldn't leave these laying about, people will get gossiping."

He grumbled while picking up with him, "Not my fault my mouth likes to run at times..."

Matt grabbed up as many catalogues as he could and disappeared them into his pocket space before Thalia could protest. Whaaat? he could get em back later.
"Well, there's a good solution to that." He pulled Thalia into another kiss, hey, couldn't talk now could he?

Asher knocked lightly on the door. "I brought lunch if you're hungry," he said.

"Mmm," he mumbled into Thaila lips before wisely giving a mental comment that they may wanna take this private soon.

Kay looked up with a jerk at the knocking, and he relaxed slightly at the familiar voice of Asher. He put the book down and padded barefoot across the floor to open the door.
He smiled weakly to Asher, he looked pretty tense.

Matt would lead Thalia to the nearest of their rooms then.

It would be Matt room this round, and this time camera covered (timeskip X)

"Should I set this down somewhere?" Asher asked. "Vestia chose some foods she remembered you liking, I hope they'll do."

"But they aren't going to be here until it's time for the party, we are the ones setting the room up, and this is part of it." Shane said, clearly not getting it.

Kay looked uncertain for a moment, as if he was struggling with a decision. He nodded stiffly and moved aside so Asher could come in, indicating the bedside table as the nearest surface.

Thaila laid their cuddled up with matt, softly smirking as he enjoyed his boyfriend blanket. "Well...I can feel my toes at least." He chucklex.

Matt laughed tiredly. "Yay progress!" He pondered. "I wonder how long before we're not totally wiped out."
