Upon Vestia: Chapter Two

Asher looked at Heny for a long moment, trying to decide whether it would be a good idea to move her. The seat didn't look terribly comfortable, but then again, she'd probably wake up on a murderous rampage (again) if she woke up in a new place. He didn't want to cause her any more stress, not when she was in this condition.
Noticing the edge to Vestia's voice, he asked, "What's wrong? Did Ellie do something again?"

She panicked at his sudden movement her eyes wide with fear he would of never seen the keeper have as she tried to struggle away her body and mind in pure panic unable to tell the past from the present.

"You're safe," he repeated, not allowing himself the freedom to sound desperate, and stopping when he saw that he'd scared her more, "Heny, you aren't there any more. You're on a ship. We're all your friends, none of us would hurt you. You're safe now."

She stood there shaking, tears shedding as she gasped for air as her body made her go through the pain yet showed none of the symptoms she swayed...

"Everything is all right. You have friends, you're far from danger, nobody is going to hurt you," he said. He cautiously moved closer, in case she fell.

Heny felt the room darken around her as she couldn't breath and fell towards the ground, reliving the nightmare.

The android hurried forward just in time to catch her before she would have hit the floor and probably hurt herself. He looked at the beds in sickbay, then concluded that in her current state, sickbay was the last possible place that Heny should ever wake up. He should probably get her out of here before she woke up, or more panic would ensue.
At least she wasn't screaming now. The First Law released its death grip on his mind, and he allowed himself a few seconds to recover before continuing to worry about Heny's well-being.

"Should we take her to her room?" Starr asked worriedly then glanced over to the fox again "Or you. She feels safe there, or must since that is where she goes to hide"

"That seems like a good idea," said Asher. "You can come if you like, or stay here to make sure that the less even tempered passengers focus on helping the fox spirit, and not on fighting. The choice is yours." He looked at Starr gratefully, her calmness was a trait that he appreciated very much.

Starr nodded and looked back to Asher, "You go with her, I'll keep an eye on these here." She said then went over to the fox to see if there was anything she could do to heal her

"Very good." He laughed quietly and whispered to Starr, "Don't let Ellie and Vestia start squabbling again, they're incredibly distracting."
He carried Heny out of the sickbay, heading for her room.

1812 dully trailed behind Asher, obviously sad about his owner state. Asher would find Heny room perfectly cleaned, the bed made and everything. It was obvious 1812 had kept himself busy herez

Starr chuckled and nodded, sending a glance to Ellie quickly then refocusing on the fox again.

The android set Heny down on her bed gently, and put a blanket on her. Living beings tended to feel safer when they could hide under blankets, and as he recalled, the Keeper was no exception.
He looked around the incredibly tidy room, and down at 1812. "I suggest you talk to a therapist at the soonest opportunity, little robot."

Heny whimpered softly and took a pillow to hold tightly as she muttered something. The robot if he could would just roll his eyes, but admittedly look at Heny whistfully.

Asher watched her carefully to see if she was waking up, and knelt down to pat 1812's shell. "She's going to be okay, although it might take a while for her to get there. Try to not worry too much."

She didn't as her body slowly relaxed. On her nightstand was a dozen of those memory orbs just perfectly stacked and ready for use ask 1812 sighed deeply.

"I wonder which of those memory orbs would actually help Heny," the android commented thoughtfully, "Vestia, have you seen any of them? I don't want to look at them myself, since that would be invading her privacy, but they could be useful nonetheless."

"Yea, they are about her family mainly." She explained, "It... Doesn't look like it but I think she yearns for a family again even though it probably won't happen."

"So either she'll find the memories comforting," Asher said dryly, "Or she'll feel even worse, for reasons that should be apparent. Perhaps we shouldn't risk it at this point in her recovery."

"Fair enough... She told me some of the things she went through being captured by the family... But I didn't realize how bad it was." She said softly.

Merith had frozen during Heny's panic attack, his eyes sparking with a genuine fear and concern. Before he could say anything about it, however, Asher had taken the reins and escorted Heny to a more comfortable environment. He seemed to stare at the door for a few seconds, as if thinking about something, before muttering under his breath and turning back. What was said, who knows, it was so low it was inaudible.

"Right." The Keeper said, looking down at the comatose fox. "A being of several souls... And here I thought I'd seen the last of those kind... Now, how to deal with..." He pressed a hand on the fox's chest where the odd black mass had shown on the scan and waited for a second. As he did so, he continued to casually talk. "Well, it's good they're still being created. That means the universe is still running its course properly. A shame they aren't so out and about anymore... This one seems relatively young. No teacher? Shame..."

Starr nodded, looking to Merith again. "She has seperated, showing her other forms before, but she hasn't passed out like this before." She said softly

"Hmm. It's not often you see that. Alright, I think I know the problem. During the last time they - the Anamcara - switched dominant souls, the passage of arcana from soul to soul must have been twisted. So, the problem is corrupted aura. Just needs a little, er, reset." He suddenly clapped his hands together, and his palms glowed a mana blue. "So, we'll use a little shot of high-tempered mana to give their spirit-bonds a boost, and then from their they reset themselves to form and dominance."

He thought for a moment. "Sometimes Anamcara are formed between two warring souls, and don't find inner peace among themselves until they're much older... Their battle for dominance could potentially cause a lot of devastation... Eh, I'm sure it'll be fine."

He suddenly placed his glowing palms back on the fox's chest and forced a large wave of arcane energy to spring forth. As the twisted mana was blown apart the fox gasped and split into three again. This time there was no pain, as all three spirits looked at each other, before the human and owl suddenly leaped at the fox, the three suddenly knocking into the bed behind them, the intensity of their combined mana lighting the sheets on fire as they fought.

Medi bots started to causally put out the fire as they fought.

1812 pestered Asher as he beeped in morse code about possible gettin food ready for Heny.

"Holy crap," said Ellie, too startled to react with more than dull surprise. "The bed is on fire."

"Yes, that would be a good idea. Get her something mild, like chicken broth. Her stomach won't be able to handle anything much stronger than that," Asher told 1812.

Starr sighed a little and reached a hand to the other bed, dismissing the fire before it could get too bad or smoke too much. She watxhed, prepared to stop any more fires from springing up during the fight for dominance.

He listened then suggested and type of broth soup he remembered she liked, but since he and the kitchen bot doesn't always get along he may need help getting it haha.
