Upon Vestia: Chapter Four

As they made it back to Vestia Heny would of dozed off in her chair, semi curled up. Vestia greeted them but seem slightly annoyed about something.

"Whoa. Can you breathe alcoholic beverages?" she whispered back.

"Nah, just the water content. And i'm good at holding my breath anyway." Matt shrugged and stepped back. "And honestly the river was about the only place I could get some peace and quiet growing up. I have 4 siblings and they're all freaking nuts." He was probably lying now, he had a weird smirk on his face.

"And ellie is drunk." Heny commented.

"I haven't even had a full bottle yet, I can't be drunk," said Ellie sagely.

"Want some wiskey?" She smirked deviously.

"We all should definitely have some whiskey!" Matt declared. He glanced back to the med bay "can we slip something into Kay's water? I don't think i've every actually seen him drunk. Might improve his mood."

Asher glared at Matt. "No drink spiking."
"...I'd like some whiskey," Ellie said, not sure if Heny's offer was serious.

Shane chuckled at that and finished his bottle of beer

Matt sulked "not even a little drink spiking? " He rapidly cheered up though. "I need to restock anyway. " He rummaged through his pockets, flicked a bottle cap aside and shrugged "yep, restock. Miss Heny, lead the way!"

Heny leaned on her crutch and with a wave of her hands summoned the bottle. "There we go."

"Alcohol should only be consumed intentionally," Asher said sternly, "It impairs the senses, and many choose to avoid that experience."
"You're no fun," Ellie said, elbowing the android lightly.

Matt eyed the android. "Don't worry, i'm not gonna hurt my brother. He's family." He waved a hand and then laughed when Heny materialised a bottle out of nowhere. "You can just summon booze? that's awesome!"

"He is right though, it wouldn't be right to spike his drink, especially if someone got hurt" Shane said

"Oh i had it stuff in a pocket realm with one of my weapons." She said causally.

"Thank you," said Asher, grateful for the backup. He gave Heny a long-suffering look at her weapons comment.
Ellie looked at the whiskey with baited breath.

"you can do it too?" Matt looked excited. "tell me.. how do you manage to find anything? Because seriously, half the time I end up with bottlecaps and reciepts for things I don't remember even buying."

"That would be a good trick to learn, can you teach it to me someday?" Shane asked, looking to Heny then glancing around "We need glasses for whiskey"

"Its a keeper born ability." She explained then nodded, "those i cant provide."

"We could all take turns drinking from the bottle," suggested Ellie.

Again Matt went through his pockets and managed to dig out a slightly cracked "worlds best uncle" mug and a shot glass. "hmm.. i'll be right back!" He said and rushed off to find glasses.

Shane looked after Matt then chuckled and looked to the girls again "We could go to one of the lounge areas to be more comfortable." He suggested.

"Yeah, and be all fancy. Like we're rich and successful politicians," said Ellie, liking the idea.

Matt returned a short while later with some glasses he'd pilfered from somewhere and a tray.

"That will work" Shane said and smiled, turning to lead them to one of the lounges so they could be comfortable while they drank

Heny hobbled along to follow and causally poor a drink for each, she would watch ellie bemused.

Ellie followed the others and sat down comfortably on a couch. "Look at us, all sophisticated! Hey, why you watching me, Heny? Admiring my pretty hair?" the human winked.
Asher attempted a subtle exit, hoping to go check on the Star Dragon eggs, and avoid the silliness that always accompanied strong alcohol.

"Oh, just curious of how your human body would take to this strong of whiskey." She shrugged, "gotta make sure if need be to whisk you to the med bay for poisoning."
