Upon Vestia: Chapter Eleven

She blinked and nodded, "Yea...?"

--Good luck to them. Some we know would say the bigger the ship, the bigger the guns. --

"Changing names should help with that. Possibly look into painting some parts differently too, in case they have pictures" Rigel said calmly

"We'll be installing all the weaponry we can find," Vestia said, laughing. "And repainting is a good idea, it'd be silly to change ID numbers, and then forget to change them on my hull as well."

Rigel chuckled softly and nodded "Yeah, that would bring in some problems." He agreed

--Wonder if we can get word out about the bounty being a trap...--

"Esk might be able to. He has nasty friends who could spread the word," James said after a moment's thought. "Then again, I'm not sure they respect him much any more."

--He has friends?-- Swarm asked, bobbing up and down. --We will have to ask him. Do you think he'll help knowing his brother is here? He doesn't seem to like him. --

"Esk is a fine and honorable young man, of course he will help those of his own blood," Tala said. "We shall ask his assistance and he shall be glad to assist these good folk."

James' shoulders shook with silent laughter.

Swarm agreed with James on this, but they couldn't really laugh.

"Not everyone likes their brother just because they are family." Rigel said cautiously then sighed "I suppose we should go find him though"

"'Liking' has nothing to do with it," Tala told Rigel, "He will assist because his moral values say he should."

James accidentally laughed out loud at that, earning himself a terrifying glare from Tala. "Can we borrow a shuttle, Vestia?" he asked, carefully stepping out of the minotaur's reach.

"Sure," Vestia said.

--Do you dislike your siblings Rigel?-- the swarm asked curiously.

Rigel shrugged then shook his head "Most of the time no, but there are some times I think he deserves a good hit to straighten him back out again."

--Single minded sibling relationships are complex.-- The swarm remarked.

"Everyone needs a good slap sometimes," James said in a sensible tone. "And you're right, Swarm, sibling stuff is super confusing for us non-hiveminds. I don't recommend it," he joked. He loved his siblings really, and wouldn't trade them for anything.

Rigel chuckled then shrugged "Oh well. It was nice to see you Vestia, I wouldn't have minded booking a cruise if circumstances were different"

--Maybe there will be a chance later, after... --

"You guys are all welcome any time," Vestia said. "If you have skills, I'll even pay you to be here."

Rigel looked back at the arcade room then sighed softly and shrugged "I should stay with Dawn."

--You still will need to help with codes yes?-- Swarm asked Rigel.

"Possibly, but the coding isn't that difficult, or not on regular ships. I've never been on a working smartship before" Rigel said

--an excuse to return!-- The swarm declared.

"You guys could come with us for a while, help us repaint the numbers and stuff," Vestia coaxed. "We may all have bounties on us, but we're very hospitable folk."

Swarm bobbed up and down excitedly. --the ship is large enough... we could dock on board no trouble.-- ooo the possibilities!

James eyes brightened with excitement. "That would be incredible. More family bonding time, a chance to see all one hundred floors, the opportunity to meet everyone here. Who cares if it's risky? That'd be awesome."

Tala looked unconvinced.

"Someone would need to defend anyone should the werewolf go on a spree." Swarm told Tala.
--We would have to ask the captain.-- though was he in the right mental state to make such choices?

"WE would have to ask the captain and see what he says" Rigel agreed as he looked to the cameras "Though I think it would be wonderful to see all of you I can."
