Upon Vestia: Chapter Eleven

She blinked and nodded, "Yea...?"

"Uh... Not... that I know of?" Matt frowned. "I dunno. I've never been in the habit of shoving my face in flowers."

Kay snuggled into Asher, looking up at him affectionately and nodding. Now where had he put his tablet? He found it and typed. [Give them time, they will. They ALWAYS do.] Still, let them bleed for a bit. He didn't wanna leave here just yet grrr.

She sighed, "Very well will I get more help picking clothing at least?"

"Sure. I can definitely help with that." Matt nodded. "Though... from what i'm reading, i'm not meant to see the bride's outfit." He snickered. "What else we got? Uh.. " He read the list. "Bridesmaids... groomsmen.. flower girl? Who're we roping into this?"

"It was considerate of them to wait this long," Asher commented. "Hopefully they can wait a while longer though, because I'm in no hurry to go back."

Kay smiled. [Neither am I.] He kissed him softly. [We should sneak off to do paperwork more often.]

"Any one we can on this ship." Thaila snorted, "and doesn't mean you can give me some ideas." She winked.

"mmm well Ellie's good with plants so I say we ask her about flowers. " He shrugged. Thalia was totally still nude wasn't she? yeah that was super distracting.
"Uh.. I dunno man, you gotta pick your bridesmaids. Or we can defy tradition and just not have em. "

Thaila gently pushed him away, "Your not gonna distract me." She said stubbornly, "Well I can ask ellie, you wanna use kay for your best man?"

"Yeah, I gotta convince him it's totally a great idea first. He'll be grumpy. " He laughed. "Awww, no distractions? But distractions are greaaaat!" He reached over her for some of the food he'd brought in earlier. "Snacks? But yeah, like it or not he's my brother and my best friend so he's gotta suck it up and be happy for us. HAH."

"Uhm whatcha have?" She asked, and snorted. "good luck on that, might as well ask shane."

"Uh.. fruit, meat, some cake things they had in the kitchen. I dunno, I grabbed whatever." He shook his head. "I think he'll come round. I know you think he's just always annoyed by everything but he's not always. He wants me to be happy, I know he does. He's just a worrier. "

she shrugged, "I'll take a cake...and well I dont exactly resepcr him after he tried to throttle me."

Matt nodded solemly. "Yeah.. " He looked awkward. "I should talk to him about that. He needs to explain. " Really he needed to just tell Thalia already or give Matt permission to tell him because keeping this from his fiance was absolutely intolerable.

She fliched, "Ow, your nerves spiked up.."

"Sorry." He hung his head. "I'll talk to him in the morning, I can't keep this up. It isn't fair. " He sighed. "I promise it'll all make sense i'm just not allowed to talk about it. " He busied himself with a catalogue instead.

she sighed, "No offense it better."

"Yes," Asher agreed, "I think doing more paperwork is very good idea." He considered the empty room for a few seconds and added with a quiet laugh, "We may want to acquire furniture at some point, though."

Kay looked amused. [How do you intend to do that without having to explain?] This was nice, proper alone time. The paranoid part of him insisted it would be rudely interrupted any moment, that some dire event would occur leading them to have to rush out to help. Damn paranoia.
[We should probably get cleaned up...] he mused, you know, just in case they had to rush off.

Matt nodded. "I hope so."

She returned to munching on the cake and leaning over to grab a suites catalog, "ugh, I swear I'm SHORTER now!" She whines.

"With Vestia's cooperation, as usual," Asher said, "She has a lot of furniture waiting to be put into use, you know."
He sighed, and nodded in agreement, "That's a sensible idea."

Matt laughed. "Maybe just a little." He told her. "Think of it this way, for a Terran you're not that short." He grinned. "And you never have to worry about smacking your head on door frames."

[You think she'll cooperate?] Kay reluctantly pulled away from Asher. [Right, where's the nearest shower?] May as well get this over with, bah.

She huffed sitting back up, "Yea but it means you can use me as a arm rest more." Thaila grumbled.

"When has she not cooperated with our requests?" Asher looked amused.
He thought for a few seconds. "A few floors away. We can probably avoid the others, but Vestia's cameras are wired in there, and she'll make snarky comments I'm sure."

Kay shrugged and combed his fingers through his hair as he finished getting dressed. [Let her. At least she won't lecture us.] He brushed his hair behind his ears. [Remind me when we get to this station that I really need to find a barber.]

"Fair enough. It's not like her snark is rare and dreaded, anyway," Asher said, finishing getting dressed as well. And really, they were some of the most useful people on the ship. Vestia wouldn't dare be too nasty, and risk them leaving. He lead the way toward the distant showers, glad to be a vital part of the crew.

Of course, what would the rest of the crew do without the medics? bleed to death, that's what. HAH.
[Don't let her hear you say that, she'll try to prove a point.] He warned jokingly as he followed Asher.
