Hytar's Ship

Vicky was busy setting up her quarters, after some negotiations and the like she had join Hytar group for a while. Busily she set up her gaming system, though knew since the new upgrade she wouldn't be playing all night. While many races found sleep annoying she found it delightful being able to do it now.

"Sorry, I just highly dislike that type of flooring." Vicky sheepishly laughed. "That why my house was all tile and wood, no dust or bugs to deal with." She opened the bag abd offered him first dib, "I will admit this is much different then my old crew."

Lope laughed. "there's no dust, believe me. the cleaners are crazy methodical. They even dust the damn cornices around the ceiling!" He reached into the bag for a handful of pretzels. "thanks. Different how?" He thought back, aside from Hytar's son they'd seemed relatively normal people. Did that mean this lot were all weird? probably.

"Mm, the asshole alcoholic captain topped the cake. But he gave me a chance so I stuck around for his sake, though it nice to be on a ship I'm not worried that gonna fall apart." Vicky snorted and started to munch on some prezels herself.

"yeah, the boss runs a pretty decent organization really. I mean, I won't say he's a good guy but he's fair." Lope munched pretezels, talking with his mouth full. "And i've totally gotten used to this place." He laughed. "you met anyone else yet?"

"Mm a telepath boy who figured out my barries were down." She said with a shrug, "Ivor I think is his name? Yeah, since my upgrade I gotta remember to put barries up after sleeping." She laughed.

"Oh the shapeshifter? Yeah that guy's weird." Lope shook his head. "his sister's weirder. Apparently her mother is somewhere about but i've never met her, it's a big property and I guess it's easy to hide when you can change shape right?" He shrugged. "you can put up mental blocks? Cool, that sounds useful. " He grinned. "how is sleeping at long last then? It working? Do you dream?"

"Yeah, all assasin are required to learn how to do it." Vicky explained, "And at the level I at in the guild I damn sure need it." Shs took a bite of chocolate before reply to the last part, "Honestly wonderful, though the dreams are weird...How do people get use to that?" She asked with a confused look. "Then again I gotta learn my limits and not fall asleep anywhere... I can sense trouble when I go to one of our meetings and I pass out... Many of my prank victims will finally get payback."

Lope smiled. "I dunno, I guess when you just... have dreams you're used to them already. Must be weird, nice wierd, but wierd." he helped himself to more pretzels

She nodded, then paused. "Though, I have these...dark dreams too, At least i dunno what to actually call them." Vicky shook her head, "none the less is nice...though some of them can be rather... Ahem special too." She blushed.

"Nightmares? like, bad scary unpleasant dreams?" Lope asked, then started to laugh. "Special!?" Was he guessing right what that meant?

She nodded, "Yeah, I think that what the bad types are called." Normally, normally vicky has a good poker face but Lope reaction made her turn strawberry red as she used a pillow to hide her face in shame, oh she was not going to verbally confirm what he was suspecting because it was damn true.

Lope patted her shoulder. "I'm sorry, i'm making you uncomfortable aren't I?" He smiled softly. "Everyone has those kinds of dreams, it's normal."

"No, I been through worse." She weakily chuckled, "It just... This is very new to me..." She didn't have to nerve to say who those dreams focus on, oh hell no.

Lope nodded. "I can't even begin to imagine." He took more pretzels. "I think we need drinks, these are drying my mouth out." He got up. "I'll be right back!" There was a small bar next door, it didn't have anything overly alchoholic, but it did have soft drinks. Hytar preferred his staff not to be fall down drunk, it interfered with productivity and made annoying drama more likely.

Lope came back with two small bottles of soda.

She gratefully took it, "but they are tasty, I'm use to having to stash snacks in fear of loosing them. It nice to not have to worry abouf that here." She causally went to open the soda when it SPEWED all over her. Vicky yelped and panicked, dretching herself in the sticky fluid.

Lope darted out of the way of the spray with a rather unmasculine yelp.
He looked to Vicky. "Are you okay? Do you need a towel?"

She cringed at the mess, she was completely soaked. "Probably more along a full body hosing would work better." Her shirt and pants decided thay clinging to her body was the best thing to do. "At least the couch isn't white..."

"I'm so sorry! I didn't think the bottles were that shaken up!" Lope fussed. "uh.." He looked around for something to dry her off with.

"It nof your fault." Truthfully vicky wondered if those things were planted by someone... Anyway. "I would...uh walk to my room but I don't wanna know the wrath of the cleaners for walking around dripping off soda."

Yeah there wasn't really anything she could mop herself off with was there? With a sigh Lope pulled off his own shirt and handed it to her. "Use this to mop up the worst of it, then i'll walk you back to your room and you can get changed okay?"

She nodded and did her damnest to not stare at his chest while getting what she could up, before carefully standing, "Ugh, sticky sticky.." Oh hell yes she was going to be taking a shower.

Lope set the other bottle down and nodded. "Yeah, i'm so sorry about that. " He picked up the pretzels and chocolate. "You should keep these with you though, late night snacks." He was trying not to stare at how her clothing clung to her, erp. He could hear his grandmother's voice berating him for it. A gentleman does not oogle girls, even attractive ones!
Dangit.
Keeping his head down he asked "So uh... what room are you?"

She flushed, "Yeah, uhm follow me I guess?"

Lope nodded and followed.

She had remembered the way so it didn't take that long to find it. Absently she unlocked the door and gestured him to follow. She firsf raided her bag for extra clothing picking out a tank top and shorts since there won't be much need for combat here.

Lope did as he was told, coming into the room, putting the bag of pretzels and chocolate down, and a little self conciously rubbing his bare arms as he looked around.

"I would uh...let you borrow a shirt but it would be a lil too small for you." Vicky laughed sheepishly, before gathering her things for a quick shower, "Gimme five okay?"
