Luka looked over, panting and sweaty. She waved and smiled, wiping her face off on a towel. "What are you doing here?" Let's face it, fitness wasn't exactly something anyone associated with 'Sugar is an essential food group' Ellie.

Skye smiled at Amity "Hello again" She said as Moone waved a greeting "How were they?"

Shane paused when he saw the plant-man then smiled and came closer "Hello Professor Hewitt. Getting the 'grand tour' now?"

"I was trying to learn to ignore plants telepathic signals, and I heard someone in the gym, so I thought I'd see who it was," Ellie said. She grinned at Luka, "How you doing?"

"All they have done is sleep, is that normal?" Amity asked cheerfully.

Luka blinked. "Plants... telepathic... " She shook her head. "You guys never fail to confuse me." She picked up her water bottle and took a long swig. "I'm okay, there's a lot to do on this ship so i'm never really bored right?" She shrugged. Yeah she didn't much like being grounded like this, she liked being out in the stars.

Hewitt groaned. Oh, the star dragon again, with his endless questions. "Grand tour would imply I had a guide, unless you're volunteering."

"There's a guy who's living on the ship now, and he's basically a walking talking plant," Ellie explained. "I can hear his thoughts! In words! It's awful, so I'm trying to learn to block it out." She smiled. "You'd rather be flying, wouldn't you?"

Luka hesitated, looking suspicious. "You're not able to read my thoughts right? Just plant people yeah?" Plant people, wth?

"Just plant people," Ellie said reassuringly. "I would be so much more freaked out if I could hear everyone, it would be terrible." She giggled, "Are you a plant person? Should I be able to hear you thinking?"

"They will be up and running around soon" Moone said, going over to look at the babies, sure enough, they were waking up now.

Skye looked to the door as Starr came in with her babies and smiled at her, going over to look at the dragons as Starr set the bag on the table to get them out.

Shane shrugged "I can, if you want." He said and chuckled "There is a lot of floors and rooms here."

"Shit I hope not." Luka laughed. "That'd be freaky." She shook her head. "Man, this universe just keeps getting weirder and weirder." She sat down on a bench and drank more water.

"Excellent." Hewitt declared. "The lead the way, but not too quick. I'm old."

"Hello." Amity greeted Starr politely.

Ellie laughed. "Yeah, it's way too weird. I mean I like the plants, but it's all so COMPLICATED." She shook her head. "Maybe we should just hide under a rock and stay there. But then the rock will bond to one of our souls and we'll be an anamcara..."

Asher joined everyone else in the playroom, smiling at the sight of all the people. Wow, it was busy in here. Was it always this busy? He had no idea.

Luka shuddered. "You shouldn't joke about that, it's horrific." She scolded. "I never thought i'd be too scared to TOUCH people, but yeesh. "

Amity smiled to Asher as well, his programming trying to decide if he was the librarian or the medic. Hmm confusing. He was smiling though, so... maybe not librarian, he hadn't seemed very smiley. "Asher yes?" He guessed.

"Yeah, it is freaky as heck," Ellie agreed. "Sorry, didn't mean to freak you out."

"Yes, I'm Asher. You can tell because I don't wear a black jacket," Asher said helpfully, looking amused.

Amity logged that away. "I was going more on the probability that Ethan seldom if ever appears to smile. Based on that alone, it seemed likely you had to be Asher." He smiled broadly.

Luka shook her head. "Not your fault. This place is just... all kinds of horrendous. " She set her bottle down and gestured Ellie should sit. "At least there's no more dangerous animals loose right? that.. we know of."

Shane smiled and nodded, starting in the way Hewitt had been going. (What floor are they on?)

Dawn and Starr smiled at Asher when he came in, giving the dragon babies toys to play with as they listened.

"No, Ethan doesn't tend to smile very often. I guess that is a way to tell us apart," Asher agreed.

Ellie sat. "Yeah, I think we're okay on dangerous animals. Hooray for that."

Hewitt followed along slowly.

Luka nodded. "Well, at least it gave James and I an excuse not to go out for a bit. He made me watch Cinderella." She laughed. "It was weird."

Amity nodded. "but I shall add your suggestion to his file." He looked happily around at everyone, yes, this was more like it. He'd been designed to interact with guests, and now there were plenty of guests and staff members here mingling. The familiarity was good, he settled into it.

Ellie giggled. "Oh my gosh, are you two...?" Yes, she was still going to assume everyone was dating until further notice. What? Sometimes she was right.

Asher smiled at Amity, then looked to the others too. "Hey Starr, how are you today?" He asked.

Shane led the way, showing Hewitt to the 'kids' pool room. He figured the guy would like the room.

Luka made a face. "Don't be gross, he's a robot. " She laughed, remembering James offering. Ahh good times. "And he's SO not my type anyway. You know, as well as the whole, not even being the same species thing."

Hewitt looked around, roots swaying a little and recoiling at the chemicals. Eugh, chlorine. "Why is it so shallow and... colourful?" He asked.

Ellie snickered. "Some people like robots, it's not completely unheard of." She added, "Besides, he watched Cinderella with you. That's a total date thing to do."

"Oh good," Asher said, "They're not giving you too much trouble?" He looked at the dragons fondly. Nope, he wasn't especially interested in the avian chicks when these guys were in the room. Oops?

Luka looked skeptical. Dude, they'd also watched porn together but she wasn't about to admit that to Ellie, she'd take it totally the wrong way. "We're friends, he's like... an annoying older brother." She smiled fondly. "I like him, but NOT in that way. " She shook her head. Nope, there was just something squicky about sleeping with an android to her.

"Fair enough," Ellie said, "But I tell you, I have a knack for discovering secret true love. I figured out a relationship before anyone else did once!" And also made a ton of false accusations some other times, but she wasn't going to mention that.

Luka snorted. "yeah? who?" She remembered the assumptions about Dawn of course, poor Dawn. She had terrible taste in guys.

"This is the kids pool room, or would have been had the cruise ship thing worked out." Shane said and looked around then back to him again. "Do your kind even have kids?"

Starr smiled, watching Danika as the baby headed for Asher to snuggle with him, chirping about drawing, which Starr translated for Asher.

"Asher and Kay," Ellie said proudly. "I KNEW, man, I have some freaky sixth sense about these things."

Asher blinked. "Oh hello," he told Danika, a bit startled. He petted her gently with one hand, and tried to locate the pad of paper he always kept in his pocket with the other.

Starr chuckled and held up a hand. "We have crayons and paper in here." She said then looked to Skye as she brought some over for each of the three babies to use.

Hewitt frowned, kids? kids, what the heck were kids? He wracked his memory. "Offspring yes?" Animals reproduced in such a disgustingly messy manner, oh he remembered fragments of xeno biology class many many years ago, it was gross. He had many reasons for not wishing to pursue a career in the topic. "We don't reproduce in such a... gory manner no. " He shook his head. "We have saplings, but they are fairly self sufficient, they just require an education to be useful members of society."

"Ah.." Luka shook her head, yeah that relationship was just all kinds of nope for her. Just... yeesh. "I swear though, there's nothing romantic or sexual going on with me and James. He just really likes animated movies about pumpkin carriages and princes." She snorted. "He wants a prince charming apparently, he's a wierdo."
