Upon Vestia: Chapter Eleven

She blinked and nodded, "Yea...?"

"Oh good, I'm glad it's safe," Asher said, relieved. Heny might need her memories someday, and it would be a shame if she lost them forever. "And it's all right, you don't need to rush back to work. I can wait until tomorrow," he smiled reassuringly.

[Perhaps one day. For the time being, I am slightly comforted knowing that part of her still exists. ] He shook his head, it was only a small comfort. [Would you at least consent to company?]

Asher smiled affectionately. "I may not be terribly conversational, but if you don't mind that, then feel free to stay."

Kay nodded, smiling softly back.
[Can't let you do all the paperwork, then what will I do when annoyed?] He joked.

"That's why I've started on Vestia's paperwork now," Asher said, laughing softly. "We seem to have run out of paperwork here for the moment."

[Won't be long before there's more i'm sure. ] He smirked. [If not, we'll just have to "misplace" some completed stuff. I'm sure there's a shredder around here somewhere.]

"I think at that point, the others might decide that we have a problem," Asher said, companionably sliding some tax forms over to Kay.

Kay shrugged. [You seem to think we'd have to tell them. ] He looked amused.

Asher glanced up at Vestia's camera, then at Shock. His mouth twitched in a half-smile. "I suppose they might keep our secret."

Kay looked at Shock, tilting his head. He wondered just how conscious the guy actually was. [I'm sure this wasn't what he thought we did alone, that's for sure.]

"Everyone is so quick to make assumptions, they don't even realize how important paper is to us," Asher said, filling out a form with precise, human-ish writing. He gave Vestia's camera a mischievous grin.

The camera turned away, as if in disgust.

Kay laughed silently, covering his mouth with a hand as he looked over the paperwork, sitting down to carefully start filling things in as clearly and precisely as he could.

[Paperwork and a highly organized medicine cabinet.]

"At least everyone can find the medicines easily this way," Asher looked amused. He lapsed into silence, happy for Kay's company, and the impressive stack of papers that still needed to be dealt with.

Kay smiled softly, glad for the company. He'd rather run out of things to do on his own and tedious though forms were, they were a distraction.

A few hours later, with the help of his own sorcery, he and Heny would finally be sharing a room for the first time in a long time. He smiled softly at it as his magic neatly placed the pillows and tightened the sheets. "Do you... Remember the first time we had to share a room?"

She blink, pursing her lips, "Uhm..vaguely..." Her nose wrinked, "You shifted into a dog..." She sat on the bed, holding no shames wrinkling it up.

Merith laughed gleefully. "Your angry blush was word the death glare and the pillow to my face, thanks... Woof."

She snorted, "Then you got drunk.." She blushed, suddenly finding the sheets really cool looking, "And teased me without mercy."

Matt would go find Thalia, because he kinda felt like if he didn't Thalia would be mad.. .and if he did he'd be mad... eugh, oh well, he could give him back his magazines.

Merith blushed a bit but snickered with an almost evil grin. "You asked, my dear. I delivered. Did all those rumors make you that curious for me?"

Thaila would Warily eye him as he watched his show, "What....?"

Heny felt her cheeks blush darker, "M-maybe..." She picked harder at the sheets.

"So is this a leave me alone grump... a i'm back in an empathic funk grump or Matt did something wrong and just hasn't realised it yet grump?" Matt asked, his tone was joking.
"I just wanted to tell you I finished cleaning, and see if you wanted company or not." He shrugged.

"This is if you keep on smothering me grump I will find better areas to hide.." He said dryly, "And I don't need them for a while..."

Matt shrugged. "Suit yourself. " He shook his head. "Listen.. i'm sorry, I didn't mean to be clingy. It's just... you really freaked me out with that whole... not leaving the bed and being not you. But if you wanna be left alone i'll go for a swim or something. Uh... enjoy your video?"

thaila sighed pausing the video, "I can understand you freaking out..I wrongfully didn't pewarn you about it, but you get on my case on being clingy and forcing you to do things...but what have you been doing the last few days after that spell broke?"

Matt sighed. "Yeah.. I get it." There was a lot he wanted to explain, that terror of losing Thalia, how utterly terrifying seeing him and knowing it wasn't him was but he didn't think he could really word it right. Besides, he didn't much want to reopen that particular wound.
"I'll see you later okay?"

Thaila blinked, "Okay..." He replied not sure what to say to matt, mean he wasnt pissed off but Matt wanted to be alone anyway..
