Random station (where the slavers left Esk and Dawn)

both esk and dawn were dumped on the station, SD had sent them infomation of which planet ti head towards to meet them.

He glared. "Go play your game, let me sleep."

She sighed, "Fine. Ever wonder if people try to become your friend but find your walls to hard to scale?" She commented before popping back up and started to put the screen on the wall.

"No." He replied flatly. Nobody ever tried to become his friend, they either in his mind used him, or were scared of him. Either way, nobody had ever genuinely given a shit about him.

"Pity." She sighed, yelping slightly as she managed to zap herself.

He ignored her, closing his eyes as he tried to actually sleep. Which it was true, he could sleep through just about any chaos, he also wasn't used to actually sharing a room with another person. It wasn't the noise, it was the creeping paranoia of how vulnerable he was when he was sleeping. He still didn't trust her.

She started to play her game, which was a kiddy game by the music.

Their ship would meet up with the slavers. Vicky would be getting dressed into something more fight ready while waking Esk. The whole trip Vicky did try to befriend Esk but his walls made it hard.

Dawn came out of her room, nervous but looking as professional as she could with limited choices.

Esk was an awkward person, as soon as Vicky felt she was making some headway the walls would go up again and he'd close himself off. He seemed to resent optimism and positive thinking particularly.

He readied his weapons, just in case. Looking tense as they got closer to their destination.

Hytar looked grim and professional as he joined the others. "Everyone ready?" He asked.

Abner adjusted his jacket and drew himself up to his full unimpressive 4 foot height.

Dawn nodded and looked to Hytar. "As ready as I can be I guess."

"Yeup." Vicky said, none the less she had tried to friend Esk, taking what little foot gain she got was victory.

"good luck girl. Jusssst remember, they'll lie, they'll cheat, they'll do all they can to try to put you off. Ssstay ssstrong and focusss on your goal."

Luka joined them, she'd adopted a stoic stance. Standing straight and serious.

Lope peered out of the cockpit and grinned at them all. "Well, it's now or never! Good luck crew! You give those slavers what for!"

Dawn took a deep breath then nodded and looked ahead. "Thank you."

They'd landed just outside the large farmlands of an enormous plantation. As they left the ship they'd be greeted by a slaver who had an SUV type vehical ready to take them up the main building to meet their boss.

"So, you're the ones here about the pandoran huh?" He asked, his tone slightly mocking.

"Doessss your bossss pay you to chatter?" Hytar asked calmly.

"Mmm, just climb aboard, he's waiting for you"

Lope would stay with the ship, he'd made it clear he had zero interest in getting in a fight and someone had to stay behind in case they needed a fast getaway.

Vicky would stay quiet as she followed the group her eyes scanning the set up and layout of the place.

Hytar remained silent for their journey up to the main buildings, watching everything warily.

Abner drummed his fingers.

Esk looked awkward and tried to keep as far away from everyone else as was possible in a confined space.

Vicky sat between Esk and the rest being somewhat of a sheild for both but she said nothing as their ride moved on.

Dawn looked around as she walked to the transport. She hoped her uncle was here and still alive. She was silent for the ride to the house.

They arrived at the main building, it looked part house, part fortified compound honestly. There were a lot of outbuildings, bunkhouses for the workers and so on.

They were lead through large guarded doors and into a very well appointed waiting area with plush chairs and potted plants. The large windows overlooked the fields.

Dawn looked around the waiting area and tried not to frown. These people certainly didn't look like the type to part with something for a little money.

they all milled around for a while and finally a well dressed man walked in, flanked by two armed guards.

"Dawn Lupus?"

Vicky studied the man her arms cross at all of this..

Esk tensed, hand going to his weapon.

Hytar raised a hand to stop him.

The slaver smiled smugly. "Yes, please, any weapons relinquish them now. On the table if you will."

Luka reluctantly handed over her sabre and gun.
Esk even more reluctantly added his gun.
Hytar placed a gun down too.

Dawn stepped forward, studying the male. "I am Ms. Lupus." She said. She had no weapons to put on the table.

The man smiled, indicating that his guards go check the others to make sure they were all unarmed.

"A pleasure Ms Lupus. I have to say, we don't often get visitors here... particularly not ones asking after our... workers."

Hytar bit his tongue at the term workers, flinching a little.

Well, in all honesty it took vicky a few minutes as she gave up two dozen of daggers, two tazers,six guns of assortment of size and well a weird disk object. She shrugged at the weird looks.

""It isn't often that a friend of my father is taken from our lands." Dawn retorted, not even looking to Vicky despite the looks.
