Upon Vestia: Chapter One

Docked into a large comerse station of the galactic alliance a smart ship put up a open passage sign on her docking port. Her helper would be off doing her own thing as she made sure supplies where there for the new guests to come, her earpiece on it would seem like as she walked the bustling station she was talking to herself as she tapped on a tablet in her hand.

The female looked human with elf like ears, short spikey purple hair and violet eyes with deep tan skin. She wore simple leather, with combat boots and a white undershirt beneath her vest she looked more like she belonged on a black market station then a respectable one they where on now. She kept a careful eye on her surroundings as if worried. On the board there flashed those most wanted and a female face would appear, looking different but with the same sorrow in her eyes of the one that was talking to herself there was a high bounty on her head for some odd reason.

"If needed" Star said and looked at Asher then around the shuttle. She noticed Crazy in a cornerthen looked to Asher again before leaving to take her shuttle out. She had a feeling she might need it

Asher looked at Crazy, "Mind if I fly this thing?"

"Not at all." Crazy curled up in his spot, ready for takeoff.

The android sat down in the pilot's seat and checked that the com was reaching both Starr's craft and Vestia, then engaged hover mode and guided it carefully out the bay door. "Tell me if Heny stops breathing or something, please."

*blink* "Of course." Crazy kept an eye on both Heny and Asher.

"So Vestia," said Ellie, "if I climb out the top hatch and sunbathe on your hull, will I get a nice suntan, or will I die from the star's radiation?" She shook her shoes out into a garbage chute, trying to get out the surprisingly large amount of sand that had permeated them during her brief foray onto the planet's surface.

"You'll more end up sun burned." She remarked. 1812 circled Ellie like a white shark in boredom.

Ellie sighed. "You're probably right. I'd rather not get sunburned today, I suppose." She knelt down to look at 1812, "Hey, little guy, hope you aren't about to tase me."

He beeped in boredom, obviously not in a task a mood.

Tasing

"So what do robots do when they aren't tasing people?" She asked, knowing she probably wouldn't get a meaningful response. "Do you play fetch?"

He made a very indignant sound at the thought, obviously quiet insulted by the thought.

She gave him an apologetic look. "Sorry, guess you're not a robot dog then. So why don't you talk, then? Social anxiety? Forgetful programmers?"

He absently beeped, if he could be would of shrug.

"He appears to be from another species of smart ship that have those type." Vestia explained.

"He's a mini smartship?" Ellie repeated, not sure she understood.

"Mm no, more like a part of a smart ship."

"I choose to believe that he'll grow up to be a ferocious battle cruiser," Ellie told Vestia, "and then he'll sail forth and tase us all."

She chuckled, "Doubtful that'll happen...but one can dream."

Ellie sighed. "Oh well." More cheerfully she added, I'm getting a haircut when we get to earth. "

"What, don't like the look of psychopath?"

"Well I don't want my personality to be that easy to decipher. Then nobody will ever want to talk to me again," she said lightly.

"Mm." Is what Vestia simply commented.

The human stuck out her tongue at a camera, half-heartedly. "So, how long have you been a boat? Years? Decades?"

The fox stalked around the ship in silence, thinking to herself and about the stranger that decided to help Heny. Both he and Heny... Something was oddly familiar about their arcana pattern, something that told her she should know how to behave around them, as if she had met them in a past life. Whether she did or not, she did not know. She didn't even know if there was such a thing as reincarnation for her species. It all irked her, and their incredible power. She wanted to feed off of it... Consume it fr her own... Every time she stood near them she grew drunk by the sheer magnitude of it. She wanted that for herself. She had restrained herself. The last thing she needed was to become a Broken. She pushed such greedy thoughts away and walked along Vestia's halls in silence, that eerie stare resting upon her cheeks.

"I've been a ship for a century." She stated.

Ellie found that funny. "You're all so old. So, what was it like 100 years ago? Were you a horse-drawn buggy with an attitude?"
