Upon Silver Devil: Chapter One

You would notice the smaller ship among the giants, docked to the space port it was in search of new crew members after the last few... left suddenly.

"Yea called shampoo." He said defensively. "And the mechanic gonna come here, she a old friend of mind." He shrugged

Swarm was keen to see the space station. They added "minotaurs have an excellent sense of smell" to their knowledge base.

"I will not trample the mechanic under my hooves then," Tala said with a shrug.

He sighed, "Very well. She'll be here in about 15 minutes."

Tala waited at the open airlock, scowling at passers-by.

Swarm bobbed near Tala. "Alright Minotaur?" they asked.

"Yes. My job is to guard the ship, and I like to do that by being intimidating," Tala said. "Were I a bull, my height would make me so frightful, I wouldn't need to scowl."

"We think you're plenty scary as is." The swarm reassured her. "See how they cower and quake?"

In time they would see a female avian trot her way up with a mechanic bag in one hand and a smoke in her mouth. "Well I was questioning if you where gonna pull up this favor..where the hell is your crew?"

"Off on a special mission. Thank you for doing this Mika." He said with this bemuse look.

"What old comrades for?" She asked with a weak smile and hugged him, "Alot is changing back home since she returned.."

"Your hear to see how bad the ship is, not to get me to stop flying." He softly chuckled.

Tala's ears twitched in satisfaction, as she looked at the peoples' nervous glances. "I am a terrifying brute. That is good." She looked at the mechanic suspiciously, but didn't trample her.

"Anyway, where the room? What happen to Silv?"

"She..had a opening to break the oath and wisely took it.." Acus said simply.

She shooked her head, "No wonder you been a mess.."

James wandered in, carrying the mop and bucket. "Oh hey, everyone's here," he said cheerfully. To the newcomer he asked, "Are you the mechanic?"

"Yeup." She took a puff of her smoke before putting it out, "here to see how close this dump is to falling appart."

"Hey!" Acus huffed.

"Ah, you dont have rank here buddy so hush."

"Thank goodness. This ship is terrifying, and I hate mechanic work," James said.

"You're not supposed to have opinions, Slave," Tala told James grumpily, "And you smell funny too."

James laughed.

Swarm buzzed off, reforming on the other side of the room and regarding the mechanic critically.

"Anyway I will be here for a couple of hours, since it appears that tin can isn't here either."

Acus sighed and ignored Talas comment again.

James sneaked away to change his clothes. Darn it, why hadn't they built him with a sense of smell?

Acus watched her walk to the area where loud cursing could be heard, "I..uhm maybe going out for a drink.

TIMESKIP - TO WHENEVER THE OTHER GUYS ARE

The Silver Devil would receive a call from its other crew members, requesting pickup. The ship went to collect its crew, eventually docking at the random space station.

And they all left to meet up with them..

Tala would guard the Silver Devil, as usual. She thought it was a good idea to keep thieves at bay.

James watched Vicky curiously. Oooh, so this was the cyborg he didn't have to repair. Nice!

Dawn just headed in to find a room for her uncle to get him settled in.

Esk followed Vicky, catching up with her. "So.. yeah, captain isn't happy. " he noted her injury. "Are you alright?" He didn't sound overly concerned though.

"Eh just need a temp skin patch until I get to my mech" she said sheepishly, "Stupid me forgot to turn off the pain sensors before firing at the dude." She fumbled with getting her door open.

"You can turn them on and off? That sounds extremely useful." He stood outside, not really sure what he was meant to do.
