Well this looked like an awful lot of random stuff to consider, was all this actually necessary?

Mourn nodded happily. "Got guy to check out back, tried to say didn't have processor because too lazy to check. HAH. Threatened him a bit, he found one." Mourn smiled broadly. Oh he liked threatening people.

"LocatiOn, wedding colors, flowers, who to invite, the vows. That sorta stuff." He shrugged, "If there to be bridemaids or bestmen, uhm obviously the food served and of course which family members to invite."

Matt winced, that was a lot of stuff.
"Colours?" He looked uncertain "that's... a thing?"

Asher wasn't sure whether to be amused by or disapproving of Mourn's methods. "I hope you didn't use any actual violence," he said.

Thaila nodded, secretly enjoying the horror Matt felt now. "Yea, just so for photos nothing looks clashy. Then of course if we'll both be in tuxedos, one of us in a dress and another in a tux or both in dresses. Then there hair and makeup."

"Oh no, if I ran him through with sword he wouldn't be able to go to back room to get part! Silly robot, that would be inefficient." Mourn laughed.

"uh... " okay now Matt looked fainted frightened. "hey I totally wore a dress once, it was a dare. Apparently I haven't got the figure for princess seams.. whatever that means." He shrugged. "is all this really.. well.. necessary? " he indicated the magazines.

Thaila arched a brow, "You want out of the dog house?" He asked.

Matt frowned. "right.. so this is my punishment is it? but like.. what is it all for? Like, what the heck is this all about?" He indicated a page on the catalogue he was flipping through about chair covers and ties. "Chairs don't need bows, they're freaking chairs!"

Shane smiled and nodded, "Well, it should. Maybe he's worried about being on planet, we don't exactly have a great track record there."

"Well some cultures see weddings as a time of celebration and should go full out." Thaila remarked, "It a celebration of a union, plus it been too damn depressing around here."

Asher facepalmed, then looked back at Mourn. "That would be very inefficient," he agreed, laughing in spite of himself.

"Then the hawks wouldn't be able to fly." Shane pointed out then shrugged. "Anyway, what's the plan for tonight?"

Mourn grinned, pleased the robot had a sense of humor. "Besides, don't need to actually hurt guy. Just glare and flex claws... he got point." Mourn nodded, doing just that, flexing his robotic claws.

Matt had to concede, Thalia made a sound point about celebrations being much needed.

"okay so... there's a checklist here." He pointed to the magazine. "Step one, decide a date. That seems easy enough right? I mean, how long does it take to plan a wedding?" He looked at the stack of magazines and gulped, ooooh this was gonna suck.

"Depends on if you want a planet side wedding or one of vestia." Thaila explained, "some places you have to book your weddinf years in advance."

"Dude this ship is HUGE, I bet she has the perfect venue!" Matt declared. Also it saved a lot of headache.

"Well that makes things easier, do you have any family you want to invite..?" Thaila asked.

"We could have a party with the others, with food and annoying dance music," Ellie suggested.

"That's very sensible of you, conserving energy like that," Asher said. He stowed the components in a cabinet and locked it. "Vestia, if Matt tries to take those, please yell at him for me."

"Okay," said Vestia.

Matt shrugged. "Well, keeping my sister and youngest brother well away is a good plan, they're both nuts. But I know Web would want to be there. " He frowned a little, looking uncertain. Did Thalia even have any family now? He was too afraid to ask and pushed the thought aside hastily. "I don't really have anyone else, all the other people who matter are on this ship." He smiled softly.

Thaila nodded, "Alright, I am going to assume your going to contact him? I can write out formal invites for the crew." Thaila didnt make a single comment about anyone on his side, which probably answered Matt question sadly.

Matt nodded "Yeah, I can write to him. We'd have to pick him up somewhere though, our teleporting only works on things like planets. Teleporting onto a moving space ship is like.. stupid dangerous and impossible to actually judge. And if he dies we have to go live in a shitty underground city and I don't wanna go back there, I burned those bridges when i told the elders to go fuck themselves." He laughed, looking a little proud of that.

He mused, "Alright that works then. Up next is foods." He remarked with a grin.

"Eugh man... I can't have an opinion on food! I can't even eat most of it. Just pick something everyone will eat." Matt waved a hand dismissively. "When do you want to do this? " He looked nervous, shit was getting real man.
