Shane chuckled and waited for Ellie to join him "Anyone else coming with us?" He asked curiously

Starr smiled and headed to get a transport to explore without the humans

Ellie watched the others hopefully. "If nobody wants to come, I'll buy you all ugly Christmas sweaters," she threatened.

Asher headed after Starr. "So where are we going, anyway?"

Shane chuckled "Easy there, they may want to explore on their own" He said lightly

"He's right" Starr said and smiled at Ellie "I have some things I need to purchase here" She said then waved "We will see you around later though? Maybe meet up at Frederick's around 7ish?" She asked, knowing the humans would like the popular restaurant.

"I might buy them sweaters anyway," Ellie said. "Cheap ones." She smiled at Starr, "But yeah, let's meet up later."

"If you're buying weapons, I'm going to worry," Asher told Starr.

Starr chuckled softly "I have never been given a sweater before." She said then looked to Asher "No, no weapons, just things to make blocker amulets for the magic users on the ship. Maybe it can be a christmas gift as well."

Shane nodded and called a transport over then held the door for Ellie. (And whoever else wants to come with the humans here, lol)

"All right, I have no complaints with that plan," the android said.

Ellie leaped into the transport joyfully.

It would be a bit before the keepers would come out.

Starr hailed their own transport then got in when it arrived.

Shane chuckled at her enthusiasm and got in, leaning over to speak quietly to the driver then sitting back as they started off "Time for the tour"

Asher joined Starr in the transport, smiling a bit now. Ellie's enthusiasm was contagious.

"Yesyesyesyesyes!" The human leaned forward to try and see everything out the window.

Starr told the driver an address then sat back and looked at the android "Well, we will certainly walk enough before we see them again."

Shane grinned and looked out the windows also, pointing out the sights and talking about the history of them for her.

Asher searched his pockets, and before long, found his pocket computer. After a few long moments it connected to the transport's wireless, and he was able to look up the address Starr had given. "So we're going to the middle of nowhere," he chuckled.

Ellie absorbed the information with rapt attention, although she spent about as much time looking at Shane admiringly, as she did looking at the sights.

"Not quite, but it's close enough to where we need to get to" Starr said then shrugged "Hey, the people I know like their secrets"

Shane smiled at her each time he caught her looking at him as he played tour guide for her.

"You certainly do make some interesting acquaintances," the android commented, watching the massive spaceport recede behind them, and the six-story apartment buildings of New Paris' 'suburbs' take their place.

"Do they have an Eiffel Tower in New Paris?" asked Ellie hopefully.

Star chuckled again "Yes, that happens when you have to learn so much so fast" She said then shrugged "If you don't mind, I don't want to speak of that while others can hear"

"Yes, they did try to make it as close to the original as was possible" Shane said and smiled at her "What, want to climb it?"

"Of course," said Asher. "Someday I'd like to hear more though."

"I'll probably die, but yeah," Ellie told Shane with a giggle.

"Yes, I imagine you would." Starr said and smiled at him again "Have you ever been to Earth before?"

"I won't let you die Ellie" Shane said and smiled at her, reaching over to hold her hand briefly

Asher laughed and shook his head. "Never got closer than Mars. Both my assignments were well outside this system, so it just never happened. It's nice to finally see such an influential planet."

Ellie blushed bright pink and smiled. "Well then, let's absolutely do that today. Where do you want to go?"

"It was so long ago that I was here last" Starr said softly and looked at him then out the window again. "Much has changed"

"We can go to the tower now if you want, it does take a while to climb up to the top" Shane said and smiled at her again "Unless you want to continue with the tour today?"

"When--" he stopped, not sure if 'when' was a safe question to ask. "Where did you go last time?"

"Hmm, I do want to see more of your tour ideas though," she said thoughtfully, "Maybe we should do that first, and then see if we have time to climb the tower later."

"I traveled the globe" Starr answered "I studied the humans as a race to learn all I could about them"

Shane shrugged "I have a few days to be the tour guide before I have to get back" He said then grinned happily. "We can see it all in this area over that time"

"That explains a lot," Asher said innocently. The pilot was bringing the transport shuttle in to land, and the android looked out the window, curious to see what the neighborhood looked like.

"I like that idea," Ellie told him. "Maybe we can go to the Second Louvre, and look at the art one day."

They were around what looked like warehouses. Starr paid the driver and got out, looking around the area in curiosity herself. She waited for Asher to join her and the transport to leave then started walking along

"One day, yeah" Shane said and smiled at her then looked to the tower in front of them. "Sure you don't want to climb that today?"

Asher walked beside Starr, sweeping the area with his eyes in search of threats or surveillance cameras. The area seemed to be largely deserted, but a clever person--or group of people--could stage an ambush easily enough. "You've been here before?" he asked quietly.

"How about you suggest something, and we can use a coin flip app to decide?" she said to Shane.

"Years and years ago, close to when I was first set lose. It was nothing like this then" Starr said, also looking around then going to knock on a door
