Upon Silver Devil: Chapter One

You would notice the smaller ship among the giants, docked to the space port it was in search of new crew members after the last few... left suddenly.

Dawn took cover behind another pillar, sending a wave of air at the intruders to push them back to their own ship

Tala opened fire, filling the air with bullets. She wasn't going to let this ship be taken by whoever these people were, even if she had to kill them all herself.

Dawn glanced over to Acus then looked back to the invaders "What do they want anyway?"

Esk was heavily armored and casually just firing any which way as he flatly read off a card. "Acus, Silv, Victoria... you are wanted on charges of smuggling, extortion, murder and petty theft, you're wanted dead or alive... i'm more than happy to go with dead." He tossed the card aside, pulled out a small side arm and fired at the head he saw peeking around a pillar.

Acus made a wall of ice and spikes while taking cover himself, he knew it would help take care of some of the fodder. "No clue other then there is a warrant on three of hs for reasons I dont know."

"Oi! Half of that is a lie!" Silv snapped, "And if you call smuggling medical supplies into war zone a crime.." She growled before. Victoria tackled her.

"Murder?" Dawn said, dodging back behind the pillar then frowning and looking over to Acus. Please say it was self defense. The rest was petty stuff, but murder she couldn't go along with.

"FOCUS ON PROTECTING THE SHIP," Tala bellowed at Dawn over the sound of gunfire.

"I honestly don't care if your innocent or not." Esk called back. "Not my problem. " He pulled back as the wall of ice erupted, sending a couple of mooks flying.

Luka ran down from the cockpit, gun at the ready and skidded to a halt as she ran into the fray.

Esk turned to her. "An imperium soldier? On a shitty little rust bucket? You're a long way from home girl."

She raised her gun. "Fuck off."

He smirked, and shot her.

Victoria snorted, "its called Assassination love, not murder. Why go after these two if I'm the one your after?" She huffed, listening as the ice wall took most of the damange at first.

Dawn flinched but looked back to the bounty hunter, using the air to push him back to his ship and mess up his aim.

He tried to fight against the tempest but it did push him back a bit. "clever trick." He grabbed onto a metal strut to steady himself and took cover from the barrage of bullets and magic.

"Silv!" Acus called out, knowing he didnt need to finish that order As she went out and with fluid movements the shards of ice was bundled into a ball of air before being released like a tornado of hell onto the boarders.

The swarm decended upon the bounty hunters, getting into their faces so they couldn't see, and distracting them so they couldn't aim.
then the tornado of ice and air hit and the insects were scattered, screaming.

The mooks yelled, a few were thrown into walls or impaled.

Esk ducked for cover but a shard hit his arm and he hissed in pain and dropped his gun.

In short time the tornado died down and Silv warily looked at the damage.

Dawn peeked out, looking around the room then back to where the bounty hunter had been with his men

Esk kept low, tearing a part of his uniform off to use as a makeshift bandage to stem the blood flow from his shoulder.
He kept silent, groping for his dropped pistol.

"Ah!" With a flick of her hand a blast of air would knock the pistol out of reach.

Acus huff and slowly started to walk towards the guy.

Dawn looked at the others then stood, coming out slowly.

Esk drew his sword, narrowing his eyes as Acus approached.

The swarm started to reassemble themselves and Luka groaned softly, but remained laying where she was, bleeding on the floor.

Dawn headed for Luka to stop the bleeding if she could.

Luka smiled up at Dawn, her face contorted in pain. "that was... was really dumb of me right?"
He'd shot her in the gut, and while she had a hand over the wound to try to stem the flow of blood, she wasn't really doing such a good job of it.

Dawn shrugged a little and put pressure on the wound "Medic" She called out, since she only knew the basic first aide then looked to Luka again "Everyone does stupid things at one point or another"

Luka laughed, and immediately regretted it. "ow... " She shuddered.

"Now I see why the bounty was so high." Esk spoke, tensing, sword ready.

Silv went to tend Luka as Acus sighed and with simple hand movements had himself a water tentacle, "Okay, I really dont wanna kill you but if you fight back..."

Esk glared. "What will you do with me then? Hold me prisoner? " He got to his feet.
