Upon Vestia: Chapter Two

Asher looked at Heny for a long moment, trying to decide whether it would be a good idea to move her. The seat didn't look terribly comfortable, but then again, she'd probably wake up on a murderous rampage (again) if she woke up in a new place. He didn't want to cause her any more stress, not when she was in this condition.
Noticing the edge to Vestia's voice, he asked, "What's wrong? Did Ellie do something again?"

"Earth," the fox slid into the cafeteria, sighing. "I had not been there since the time of the first contact between human and the outside solar systems..."

Merith was pacing, muttering, trying to figure out what to do himself.

"Indeed, it been a few decades myself." Vestia mused.


Heny chuckled softly at his action, 'Its not the end of the world.. Okay where is your room?" She asked, markings where hers was, plus the others that she could remember their numbers. Syren had curled up on the couch in the room, turning it into a bed.

"Really," Ellie said, leaning back in her chair so the front legs were off the ground, and she was staring at Vestia's camera upside down. "You do a great job running this place. It's gonna be lonely to not be on a smartship any more."
She sat up to look at the fox, "Hey there. Excited to see that specific blue planet again?"

"Nostalgic? Yes." The fox said, grinning slightly. "Excited? Unsure..."

Merith chuckled, "I kind of just jumped right into this, didn't I? Here-" he marked out his room.

"It has been a while since I have been to Earth." She said then went quiet, getting an odd look on her face as she remembered that time.

Quinn The Fox wrote:"Nostalgic? Yes." The fox said, grinning slightly. "Excited? Unsure..."

Merith chuckled, "I kind of just jumped right into this, didn't I? Here-" he marked out his room.

Heny nodded and looked at it, "Okay, there are 4 via O rooms here. One on the right side of your room, one between both our rooms and two across." She explained, "if you pick one of the first two I could talk to Vestia about adding a door to ajorn them."

"We can go see the sights together," Ellie said to Starr and the fox, swallowing a mouthful of spaghetti. "I hear that London is amazing. They still have actual taxis with real drivers."

Starr blinked then looked to Ellie and smiled a little "That sounds like it would be nice." She said honestly

Merith nodded, looking down at the page, a smile slowly beginning to crawl across his face, quickly warming up to the idea. "Yeah... I... I think I'd like that."

"Aye... London..." Quinn muttered, "Totally great, the stuck up little --"

"Now now, Quinn," Spéir's owlish figure popped out of the mold of shadows and floated around, "You know very well they've changed in the several thousands of years."

Heny nodded, "Okay pick which one then." She said, "they are both clones to what our rooms have for the basics."

Ellie looked at the Anamcara for a moment, confused, then remembered Quinn's Irish heritage. "Sorry, Quinn. We can go somewhere else if you prefer."

Merith pointed at the first option. "That one'll do. Thanks Heny... And Vestia. Vestia, too." He looked over, grinning like a kid in a candy store at the camera.

"Oh, don't be silly, Ellie!" The owl swatted Quinn's fox form on the back of her head, before morphing with Quinn as a single entity again, "We're just being hypocritical. We'll go wherver you wish to go."

The human ate a few more forkfuls of spaghetti, thinking. "There's always New San Francisco. They have the Silver Gate Bridge."

She nodded, "Would you like there to be a door to my room or no?" She asked, getting a few things from the local storage area, clothing blankets and what not.

The bot lead Shane to his room.

Shane entered his room and ;ooked around briefly before setting his bag down on the bed and coming back to the bot "Nice room, thanks. Now, I guess I can do a meet and greet with the other passengers on this ship if you can lead the way little bot?"

The little bot happily did as asked, Vestia introduced their newest guest on board once he entered.

Ellie looked at the new passenger, curious. "So are you from Mars, then? Welcome aboard, and brace yourself. We're all strange here."
She tried to smooth her knife-chopped hair.

"Don't listen to her. We're all very normal here." Crazy said, having quietly approached from behind Shane.

"Hello, no, sorry I am not from Mars, I was born on Earth" He said, tilting his head at the introduction then glancing to Crazy. He let the cat go in then looked around again, smiling.

Statt looked to the stranger and waved. She wondered at the odd arcana she could sense from the male even at rest.

Ellie leaned forward, looking at him with even greater fascination. "Earth? I've been a fan of Earth my whole life! Have you ever seen the Leaning Tower of Eiffel?"

"The Eiffle Tower?" Shane asked, correcting her gently. "No, I've never seen it, but I have seen pictures." He said then shrugged "I have always wanted to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, maybe I will get to before I get home again"

"Wait, they're different things?" She picked up her omnicom and looked them up. "Guess I'll have to visit both then."

"Yes, they are different, but around the same general area. The Eiffle Tower was built in Paris, France and the Leaning Tower of Pisa was built in Pisa, Italy" He said, pulling up the information to show her as he came over to her table.He showed hr the images on a split screen on his omnicom. "Of course those places no longer exist as they used to be, but the icons are still around."

Shane passed Crazy's test well and he decided he didn't want to be inside anymore. Heading back out, he went to the nearest market to buy a couple of things he needed for his newest project.

Ellie finished eating, set her plate in the cleaning unit, and gave the new guy a hopeful look. "Maybe if you have time, you can show us around some place that you know? That'd be so much fun. You're actually from Earth!"

Asher had decided to go have a look around the city while they were here. It was one of the safest ones for androids, thanks to the massive corporate presence there, and also a good place to buy synthetic skin, which he needed to replace soon because his hands were starting to lose their fingerprints from wear. And it was just an interesting city to see.

Shane nodded then shrugged "I should have time, my boss doesn't expect me back for a couple of weeks."
