Upon Vestia: Chapter TWENTY

Heny stood there and listened as the two spoke, her heart beat rising. She had visited him a couple of times but found it too painful with eveything going on.

"Earlier this morning, two ships docked on this station," the Anamcara suddenly produced a clipboard of some kind, reading off a report, "one of which held a Kelishan and a quantity of two rarities, Damar. With previous history on the types of weapons the Damar culture uses, Tactician Arya was unsettled, which then changed into mild distrust as the Damar requested to speak with the accused, Merith Sol. The Kelishan mentioned amicability towards a residential female Keeper but neither party disclosed her name. Further information is to be updated about their success in doing so at this time."

"I'm not sure I follow," Vestia said. "Why are you listening to these guys if you don't trust them?

Heny paused, before putting her food down and heading to the opening of the ramp keeping a distance between her and the peacekeeper. "D-did this kelishan have red hair? Stood around six feet?" The keeper asked, her throat suddenly feeling dry, "Did, he wear a traditional betrothal necklace...with keeper insignia?" Flood of memories filled Heny mind as she said the last part. No way could this be him, the Family more or less attempted to beat him to a pulp when they captured her... Yet still a glimmer of hope was in her heart, and then the shadow of doubt.

Rigel and Dawn were still in the ballroom up at the top of Vestia, chatting together and watching what they could see from there.

James peered into the ballroom, smiling as he saw Rigel and Dawn. "Hey guys, mind some company?"

Rigel and Dawn looked to James and both waved a greeting "Hi James" Rigel said
"Come on in and join the 'party'" Dawn said, joking a little since it was just the two of them

"Thanks, guys, don't mind if I do," James said cheerfully. He stepped into the room and did a twirl so they could see his nice suit. "What do you think guys, am I dressed well for the occasion?" He gave Rigel a flirtatious wink.

Rigel laughed and nodded "You are all dressed up, what's the occasion?" He asked, since they were both in 'normal' attire themselves.

"Armin lent me a suit to wear to the festival, and made this tie to go with it," James petted the emerald green tie lovingly, it really did look good with his eye color, and of course was very nicely made just like everything else Armin created. "He said even if I wasn't going out tonight, I should wear this because it's here and it looks great. Luka's dressing up too, we're going to stay here and enjoy the evening while looking very nice. Want to join in?"

Rigel nodded and smiled "Yeah, we came to watch for fireworks, but we can go and get dressed up too. Where will we be meeting?" He asked as he stood "That suit does look good on you.

Dawn stood too, following Rigel over to James. "I have pretty dresses in the Devil."

"This place is pretty nice, we could just meet up here," James said, looking around. "You guys go get dressed and I'll see if I can find anyone else to join the fun, I guess?"

Rigel chuckled and nodded "Ask Vestia to let everyone here know so they can choose to come or not" He suggested then shrugged

Dawn smiled and headed for the door "See you guys later."

"Yeah, that might work well," James said cheerfully. "See ya in a bit, Dawn! Do you have anything nice to wear, Rigel?"

Rigel shrugged then nodded "I got something at the last stop before here"

James grinned. "Maybe you should get dressed up then. Gotta be looking good before I can ask you to dance." Yes, he was going to flirt with Rigel. He just liked to do this, okay? "Vestia, tell anyone who isn't busy that we're hanging out and watching fireworks up here. And tell them to dress nice."

"On it," Vestia said. She notified various people.

Asher smiled softly at the announcement. "What do you think guys, do we look nice enough to go?" he joked to the others in the nursery.

Rigel chuckled and shook his head, turning for the door "Just don't expect too much" He said as he headed for the door to go down to the Devil and change.

Skye chuckled and looked to Asher then to the babies "You think they want the babies up there?" She was more concerned with the chicks than the dragons.

The chicks finally settled down into a fluff pill. If asher thought the bickery they had now was bad wait till they became teens.

Asher looked at the dragons, who were more than capable of being polite, probably, then at the chicks, who he didn't know nearly as well. "I'm not sure. Do you think the chicks would have problems with being there?" he asked. They were aggressive little kids with lots of unusual instincts, after all.

Skye looked to the chicks then shrugged "I guess we can bring them back here if they misbehave" She allowed and stood, picking up two of the chicks "Can't get all 'dressed up' though"

"We'll have to hope our friends will forgive us for wearing casual clothes," Asher said cheerfully. He went to get the sling so he could carry the baby dragons.

The woke at being touched and looked at their handler eith grabby hands and feet. The girl squirmed a bit confused on why they were being moved.

Moone came over to get the third chick, cooing to it softly.

Skye chuckled softly and cooed to the pair she held "It's alright little ones, you are safe."

Vela and Kerr went over to the bag, jumping into it with giggles.
Danika simply climbed up to Asher's shoulder to sit there. Nope, she wasn't getting left behind again today, even if Kay was upset today.

Asher smiled affectionately at Danika. "Are you nice and steady up there?" he asked her, getting all the hatchlings settled comfortably. Well, comfortably for them. Obviously he didn't care much about himself since he had no sense of touch.

The last one let out a soft shrill as it scampered to moone, duty following her like she was mama hen. The other two yawned, trying to see where they were going they settled down...for now.
