Hewitt snickered. "Uncouth? Well it hasn't stopped some I assure you."

Web looked a little confused as to where the noise was coming from until Matt pointed to the camera.

Web smiled politely up at the camera and bowed his head. <<My thanks. I'm most relieved to be here.>> Yeah the hospital room hadn't been greatly appealing as a place to be stuck long term.

"Where is everyone?" Matt asked.

Esk grumbled. "Who cares?"

Moone frowned and glanced around then facepalmed "She must still be at the Artuvian festival. I gotta go get her" She said then ran off to the door, heading for the ramp quickly.

Shane stepped to the side to let Moone past then came in and went over to Ellie "Hello everyone, just a bit of news, Esk will be back on Vestia soon"

Tala snorted. "There are those who have little understanding of things and will devour those unlike themselves. Such is not satisfactory behavior. How so far do you find being on this ship?"

"Yay!" Ellie said to Shane. "Thanks for the news, Cutie!"

"Ellie announced a party so a lot of people are in the cafe," Vestia said. "Mind if I tell the A-Team you're here? I'm sure they want to see you guys."

Shane smiled and hugged Ellie then picked up a beer, opening it so he could drink some. "So, what spooked Moone out of here like that?" He asked Ellie

Moone ran to the ramp, slowing to a stop to look at the four there then waving "Hey guys, We're having a bit of a party in Sawna's cafe, if you want to go there, I have to find Skye" She said then left quickly taking off to go to the city

"oh dear... " Armin frowned, unsure if he should try to stop Moone or not, but she was so quick. Hmm.
"We will speak again soon?!" He called after her. Oops.
He looked to Shane, he'd missed the memo about Esk so just looked confused.

"Why is that worthy of announcement?" Hewitt asked derisively. He looked to Tala and shrugged. "It's mildly diverting, and it beats the Guild capitol at least. Less tedious magical displays and interrogation. You know, much as the Anamcara enjoy debate, they get fairly haughty when you rebut and they seem unwilling to engage in proper discourse, convinced they're right and not willing to change that view."

"Sounds rather like the Aketi then sir." Amity remarked.

Hewitt laughed heartily.

"A team?" Web questioned.

Matt shrugged and smiled to Moone, waving as she rushed past "er, okay, see ya kiddo!"

Esk frowned a little. "What does she mean she has to find Skye?" He asked.

"No idea." Matt shrugged. "She's probably off with that hawk boy right?" He chuckled.

Esk looked thoughtful.

"Uh, I think she's looking for Skye?" Ellie hadn't really been listening to Moone when she ran off. She frowned at Hewitt, "Because Esk is one of us, even if he's a jerk."

Tala wiggled her ears. "The people here are more receptive to new ideas? That is a first," she said.

"Oh, you can speak Common?" Vestia was relieved. "That A-Team is what we call Asher and Kay. Because they're the original medics here." She paused, "Not that it matters. Anyway, I'm sure they want to come see what's going on."

"Esk is our friend, or at the least crewmate, and we don't like that he was hurt, so we are glad he's coming back so soon" Shane said, looking over to Hewitt.

Hewitt waved a hand dismissively.

"He was injured?" Armin asked. "Is he alright?"

Web indicated the translator. "I don't know how it works, but it seems to. Which is a relief." He smiled softly and nodded. "If Kay is feeling up to it, it'll be nice to see him."

"Oh yeah, how's he doing Vestia?" Matt asked.

Esk rolled his eyes. "Yeah i'm gonna go sleep."

"Hey, you can't just run off!" Matt protested.

"Run no, but walk purposefully away? just watch me." Esk smirked back at Matt and walked past them. Both brothers moved to give him a wide berth. HAH.

"He, uh, got trampled by a horse and a minotaur I think," Ellie said, "He got better."

"Yeah, it went something like that." James shuddered, remembering how Esk had been thrown and trampled. "Thank goodness for his magic powers."

Vestia pinged Kay's tablet again. [Web is here. Currently he and Matt and Dawn are at the ramp, Esk left. Maybe meet up in Rec Room 2?]

"Kay's all right I think. He was in a bad state earlier, but it's been a couple hours so hopefully the full moon's effect wore off some," Vestia said. "You guys should head to Rec Room 2," she added helpfully.

Shane looked over to Armin. Poor guy got left out of the loop

Dawn sighed and walked in, following Esk "You just be careful, alright" She said, walking with him at least to her room.

"Alright." Matt indicated Web should follow, and looked back at Dawn. "Listen Dawn, thanks for the help with all this. We totally owe you one."

Web nodded. "We do indeed owe you a debt of gratitude, thank you Dawn." He bowed his head.

Matt waved as she followed after Esk.

Esk looked to Dawn. "Careful? What do you really think i'm gonna do Dawn?"

Kay looked at his tablet. [Looks like it's time to meet another member of my dysfunctional family.] He told Asher with a tired smile.

"That does not sound pleasant. " Armin agreed.

"Meat creatures are so... squishy." Hewitt remarked.

Asher smiled softly. "Well it should be interesting at least," he said. At least Web sounded like a decent guy. Probably no one would threaten to shoot Kay this time. He got up.

"Hey!" Ellie protested.

Dawn waved to Matt and Web then looked back to Esk "Most likely 'not careful' thing you would do is push yourself to move better, faster so you can use your gun and sword again" She replied honestly then shrugged

Hewitt cackled. Annoying Ellie amused him.

Esk snorted. "Does that mean you're gonna waste your time making sure I don't?" Huh, why'd he like that idea? damnit.
He shook his head.
"I can already use my gun." He pointed out. "Just loading it might be a bit problematic."

Web and Matt headed to the rec room.
Matt pointed things out as they went.

Kay nodded and got up, running his fingers through his ruffled up hair. [Let's go find out why he's here.] He wrote.

Dawn huffed and looked at him "That's why I said 'be careful' so I wouldn't need to. Do I need to watch over you?" She asked then smiled a little "Just let me know when you need to reload your gun and I will help, at least until you can do that without hurting again."

Shane stayed quiet, he didn't want to get involved in this.

Esk snickered. "Don't worry about me Dawn, i'm not quite stupid enough to overdo it. This isn't the first time i've broken bones." Or been trampled, but yeah, he wasn't going there.
"i'll stick to watching out for you, not the other way around."

Ellie rolled her eyes and took a swig of beer. "You're just jealous because us squishy species are hot," she said.

"That's definitely it," James joked. "Because all asexual plant people care about the Terran standard of beauty." He nodded sagely.

Ellie stuck out her tongue at him.

"Yes, we'd better find out what this is about now," Asher said. He gave Kay another reassuring look, then opened the door and headed into the hall.

"hot?" Hewitt looked bemused and bewildered.

"What does temperature have to do with beauty?" Amity asked curiously.

Armin struggled to stop himself sounding amused. "It is merely a curious Terran expression, meaning sexually desirable." He explained.

Kay followed Asher to rec room 2 where the twins were waiting.
Web was looking around at things curiously while Matt talked at him.

"Kay!" Matt grinned. "And Asher!" He waved.

Web turned and smiled to his foster brother. "How are you feeling Kay?"

Kay shrugged.

Ellie nodded. "Thank you for understanding me, Armin, when so few do. Obviously he's jealous and hiding it though, not ignorant."

Ethan snorted.

Ellie turned her glare on him, then paused to sip her beer, and looked to Hewitt, then back at Ethan. Library... arriving together... library... She almost spat out her beer. "Omigosh."

Asher smiled warmly in greeting at the two. Wow, the similarity really was striking. At least they dressed differently, or he might have had trouble telling the two apart. "Hello," he said, "This certainly is an unexpected occasion." He looked uncertain, should he be trying to speak Satare? Or did Web have a translation device of some sort? Hmm, so confusing.

Dawn smiled at him and dipped her head in a nod "Good, I like having you watch out for me."

Shane had given up, taking a seat and laughing quietly, though he looked to Ellie when she made an exclamation "What?"

Hewitt hrumphed. "Ignorant? How dare you." He almost got up, but decided he couldn't be bothered. It was comfortable here. He glared at Ellie. "What is it now you insane drivel spouting mammal?"

Amity frowned.

Armin put a hand on Ellie's shoulder. "it may be unwise to provoke him, he may be elderly but Aketi are aggressively proud." He advised her quietly.

Web smiled to Asher and bowed his head. "I take it you're Asher yes?"

Kay nodded.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, i've heard, well, i've heard very little to be honest." Web chuckled lightly.

Matt made a face. "I can't put everything in my letters man!"

"yet you manage three pages of discussion about a poker game." Web laughed.

Matt huffed. "That was interesting!" He protested.

[Why are you here?] Kay wrote.

"you know, Stellan asked me the same thing." Web didn't seem at all phased by how abrupt Kay was, he was kind of used to it.
"i'm not entirely sure. I foresaw something, I got worried when Matt didn't respond and Fate guided me to our youngest brother's bedside. "

Kay looked suspicious. [What'd you foresee? ]

"Danger." Web replied simply. "of course there's every chance Fate simply felt I needed a family reunion and our brother's accident provided an excuse." He smiled softly, trying to ease his brother's anxiety.

Kay didn't look convinced.

"Try not to fret." Web advised gently.

"Esk's fine by the way." Matt added. "Well, I say fine. He's as grumpy as ever but he can walk and Dawn's with him. He's gonna be okay."

Esk blinked. "Really?"

Ellie looked from Hewitt to Ethan and back again. If she was offended to be called a drivel spouting mammal, she hid it well. "They're in love," she whispered.

Ethan gave her a disbelieving look.

James burst into laughter. "Ellie... that's not how it works!"

Asher smiled softly at Web. "It's good to finally meet you as well. I don't know a lot about you either." He frowned at the news about Web foreseeing danger, but honestly, that wasn't really anything new, was it? Always danger of some sort around the corner lately, you kind of just had to get used to it. "Good, it's nice to know Esk is feeling more like himself again," he told Matt.

Dawn nodded and smiled at him "Yes really. What, you think I hang around you for your looks?" She teased then shrugged and got serious again "I do like you as a friend Esk, no matter what."

"What are you giggling about over there?" Hewitt demanded.

Armin shook his head. Oh Ellie.

"Well at least we're on the same footing them." Web told Asher.

[How long are you staying?] Kay asked.

"I don't know. The Guild have to process my... application? Security and record keeping i'm sure. It would seem unwise to leave before they get that finished, not to mention not overly diplomatic. " Web replied.

"Won't the Elders start wondering where you went?" Matt asked.

"Honestly, they'll probably enjoy my absence. A few less arguments in the chamber, it could do us all a lot of good to take a break." Web chuckled. "I doubt it'll take them long to process my papers, they seem fairly efficient at least. Hopefully if anyone does come looking for me, they won't be quite so aggressively dealt with as I was."

[Aggressively dealt with? What?] Kay frowned deeply.

Web smiled. "It's alright. When you can teleport you do get rather used to people reacting in less than ideal ways to your sudden arrival. Unfortunately there was no real practical way for me to send any prior warning, I wasn't even aware this was where I was going to appear. I admit i'm not entirely sure I know where HERE is. "

"The Guild of Scribes." Matt told him.

"Yes, i'm aware of the name, you already told me as much, but anything beyond that i'm afraid i'm rather oblivious. "

[they'll probably give you a tour.] Kay reasoned.

Web nodded. "And I think I may enjoy that. Hopefully I can avoid any diplomatic incidents while i'm here. "

Matt snorted. "Yeah good luck with that."

Web shook his head, laughing lightly. "Unlike you dear brother, I don't intentionally seek out trouble."

"Heeey!" Matt protested.

Kay smirked.

Esk rolled his eyes. "That was a low blow Dawn." He muttered. He shook his head. "You're such a strange girl. " He looked away, he didn't really seem to know how to respond to that. He rather wished she'd stop saying it, it made him feel weird, was that... disappointment or just a general unease with the whole thing? he had no idea. He wasn't one for introspection either.

"You and Ethan obviously have romantic feelings for each other," Ellie told Hewitt, nodding sensibly. "It's normal for that to happen, you know."

Ethan groaned. "Why did I decide to attend this party again?

Asher listened quietly. He didn't have a whole lot to contribute at the moment. "Well we're happy to have you here," he said, "we'll done you a room to stay in, unless you're planning to stay in the Capitol."
