Matthew's Ship

Ellie kicked things and yelled. She didn't like being grabbed by strangers, especially when they were most likely aliens.

She didnt mind, it was no differrnt then home for her minus the fact it was on the ground. She walked around and made mental note to ask if she could move the bed higher some how later while seeing how stock the kitchen was. She knew that she'll have some credits over after dawn freedom and figured she could use it for clothing and what not.

Esk cried out, he didn't want to but he couldn't help himself. The pain was just unbelievable. His vision blurred and he struggled instinctively, which only made matters worse as he slipped and slid on the floor.
He tried to focus, tried to retreat into his fantasy world but all he could see was white searing agony.

Silv was released from her binds, the man that escorted her pointing to a speaker on the ceiling. "When you're assigned to work you will be informed, here's a map of the ship, as well as a list of your fellow crew members and superior officers." He handed over two thick envelopes with several different maps of the floors as well as officer IDs.

Dawn was left alone, except for the officer asking if he would bring her anything and informing her her stay would be a few hours until they docked.

The torturer laughed at his cry, stepping back when the deed was done, eyeing the bare and unmarred back, going back to the table to pick out another weapon of choice...

Silv nodded and took it, "Will I be able to personalize my quarters?" She inquired while happily rubbing her free wrists. She flexed them obviously pleased being free from those curse bindings. She knew Dawn would probably be waiting in her far better auarters she judt hoped that things wents well for her.

The guard nodded, "Though your wages will be severely cut since you've chosen to pay your way out of chains, Matthew will most likely offer a small amount of credit to give you, which you can use to find items to your liking when we're docked and you're on break."

She nodded, "Not surprised, I will have some left in my account I plan on using in part.Not like I came here with much." She mused, "Damn idiot." She sighed, refering to her kidnapper who was now having a rightful hell.

The guard said nothing at first, as if trying to calculate what she meant, before stepping out. "You have about an hour to yourself to look over those notes. You don't have to be familiar with them right away but it will help. Is there anything else you need?"

"alright." She nodded, "And so far no, other then sending a message to my ex-crew informing them of the return of the Terran." She explained while speed reading the information.

Esk tried to compose himself, the pain was so intolerable at this point he was having trouble focusing on anything else. It'd be nice to just be able to pass out, but sadly it seemed he couldn't even do that. Idly he wondered how the girls were being treated. He hoped they were having as much hell.

He was shaking, which just pissed him off more. It made it harder to stay upright, and it was a sign of weakness he wasn't willing to let his tormentor see.

How long would this go on? How long could he actually last? He didn't know, he didn't really want to know. Maybe he'd lose consciousness soon, or just die, that'd be good.

He said nothing, he couldn't form words now.

The guard looked at Dawn and hesitated. Finally he spoke. "Slave prices aren't usually set. The slaver trade is usually bargaining and whomever is the highest bidder. The hexenfolk in particular will be difficult. Not that hexenfolk are particularly valuable, but he's been tested to be a hybrid of an undetermined species. Since slaves are at base several thousand alone, worse case scenario for you would be near on one twenty thousand for the man."

After he was dismissed, Silv was left alone.

She took a seat, and reread the info a couple of times seeing who would be those best to have connections to, who to wisely not piss off and those that would probably have zero power to effect her either way. She knew that it would take adjusting to working within a large group again, all Silv could hope for it wouldn't end up like the last time. She stood and went to the kitchen and took off her shirt and tried to scrub off as much blood as she could from the stain.

Dawn's guard shrugged, "What do you expect? The slave market is exceedingly popular among aristocratic governments. That's worst case scenario for you, on the bright side. The best case scenario can be from five to eight thousand, the cheapest one can purchase a common slave. If you ask, Matthew may be willing to give you some lenience if you want to speak to him some more."

Silv was, by far, the lowest of the lackeys at the moment. She was to be a Quartermaster's assistant, a low level carnie. There were several above her, and though they could merely report her and cut her salary, most of the ones that could actually put her in any actual harm were the Captain himself, the Quartermasters, and the Shipswain.

She focused memerized each name of those to stay good with until she was summoned once her shirt was cleanish. Silv wasn't a fool and knew how to work on moving up the ranks, it would take work but couldn't be no worse then that damn prision camp.

Her arm twitched in pain at those memories, shaking her head she focused on the list once more, "That in the past." She muttered, hoping her skills will be to her advantage.

The guard nodded a Dawn, "I can take you back to him. It is his break time at the moment..." He stepped aside to let her walk out, the guards in the place much more respectful and polite now that she was a free woman.

The guard led her to Matthew's lounge again, the man looked up as the door opened and the escort introduced the woman again, and MAtthew looked at Dawn with a puzzled look, "What's this about? Is something wrong?"

Matthew blinked, studying Dawn before blowing air out of his nose in disbelief. "Alright, how much do you think you have to pay for him? The slave market is all about bargaining, Sweetheart. Negotiate with me." He leaned forward onto the table with his hands folded. "Convince me to sell him to you."

Matthew raised an eyebrow, "Four thousand is rather cheap. However you say he'd make a bad slave and that he can't be broken? I'd be willing to part with him with that amount... If you explain why."

Matthew sighed, before chuckling. "Alright. If you can prove to me you have the credits up front, and I'll give him to you."
