Skye nodded and chuckled softly "Yeah, him and the others on the ship. We have been through a lot together, so we are kind of all like family to one another, even though we are all different species."

"You must be quite an interesting bunch. A cyborg, a Swarm, avian kids, not to mention artuvians," said Orel, "That's a lot of variety."

"And a bioship, creator, dragons, a Terran and keepers" Skye said and shook her head "Oh, and a Minotaur and androids. Yeah, a lot of variety"

"Wow," Orel looked impressed. "That's one heck of a multicultural crew." He smiled slightly, "So you guys brought all the drama with the robots then. Wow."

Skye shrugged but laughed at that "Yeah, we knew the androids were alive on our ship just had to get them seen as living by others. Asher is a wonderful person, as are the others, even if some can be a bit too dramatic at times" Not just the androids in that statement either.

Orel nodded. "I haven't met any androids, I guess you know more about whether they're alive than I do. I'm curious to see your ship, it must be pretty big to hold so many people."

Skye nodded again "It is, Vestia was a cruise ship before the slavers caught her and the crew, who were just passengers mostly. They got free and became crew before the slavers tried again and they got free again. It's an interesting story, though not many want to talk about it all."

Orel looked impressed.
They reached Vestia.
He looked up at the ship, eyes widening. "Is that...?"

Mourn and Swarm had followed from a distance, Mourn was suspicious of Hawk Boy damnit. And maybe.. just.. .teensy bit jealous of the attention Skye was giving him. Ahem.

"That's Vestia" Skye said cheerfully and went to the ramp then looked to Orel again

"Vestia good ship, beautiful ship." Mourn nodded to Orel and headed up the ramp too, shooting the hawk boy a suspicious glare.

Orel admired Vestia for a few moments. She was interesting enough to distract him for a bit. But eventually his eyes went back to Skye. They just couldn't seem to stay away for long. Then Mourn spoke, and he was instantly distracted. Humph.
"I guess this is good night then," he told Skye awkwardly. Darned felid.

Skye chuckled and came back down to him "I will see you tomorrow, then you can meet my family and we can go flying" She said softly when she reached him.

Orel looked at her, and shifted a bit uncertainly at how close they were. They'd just met, they were so totally not at the kissing phase yet. Heck, the part of his mind that wasn't completely infatuated with Skye realized they might not even have compatible interests or personalities or anything. But that sure didn't change how he felt right now.
He smiled at her, trying to not look as awkward as he felt. "See you tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it."

"I am too" Skye replied then dipped her head. She was realizing how awkward this was, so she put her hand out to shake. Hey, this hadn't been a date, so they could part with a handshake, right? "See you then."

Orel shook her hand, still feeling awkward. But hey, that worked, it kind of eased the awkwardness a bit at leas. He looked at her a moment longer, then released her hand and turned to go.
"See you tomorrow." Crap, he already said that. Now she'd think he was an idiot.

Mourn made a face, but as Skye was now safely back at the ship, he left them to it. He didn't wanna watch gross.
He wandered off.

Swarm however was totally not in with this whole giving people privacy thing, HAH. --goodbye-- --new-- --friend-- they spelled out pleasantly.

Skye waved and watched him for a while before heading inside the ship.

"Goodbye," he told Swarm politely. Then Orel headed off back to his home, thinking about pretty hawk girls.

Skye followed Orel in, heading for his parent's home so she could meet them.

They made it through the portal, Orel looking slightly queasy from the magic. He turned to look at Skye and see if she was okay.

Skye took a moment to close her eyes and just breathe before looking to him again. Yeah, that made her nauseous, but she was alright

Orel smiled at Skye. "It's never fun to go through portals, but you kind of get used to it," he said. "Come on once you feel ready, now it's just an easy flight from here."

Skye nodded and sent to his side "I am ready" She said and gave him a small smile. She would feel better in the air anyway, rather than staying on the ground.

Orel took off, leading Skye up to fly well above the city, heading out of the main area into the residential areas. He flew toward some apartment buildings, which had balconies on each floor.
Skye was right, the flying did make the queasiness go away faster.

Skye followed him, looking around curiously once the queasiness passed. "Is that where we are going?" She asked, motioning to the apartment building ahead.

"Yeah, that's the one," Orel said. The apartment had nice, large balconies, perfect for flying creatures to land on. He lead her to land on one of the balconies and knocked on the door. "Mom, dad, it's me!"
