Upon Vestia: Chapter Sixteen

"All those aliens, always hyping up how great they are, and it always turns out to be a lie," James said sagely. "I'm not like that though, I mean I've been known to punch minotaurs. I'd be a proper villain, I wouldn't lose."
He watched as the guy went back into the train, "Ooooh nooooo. They so should not have done that. It is ON!"

James laughed and took the books. "Think you can make it to the cafeteria on your own?" he teased.

"At least none of them seem to have developed any dependencies," Asher said. "As long as they're only using pain meds for actual pain, we're okay."

Starr chuckled and nodded then looked to Vestia's camera "Vestia, is Aramin still onboard? "

"Yes, he's here. Want me to tell him something?" Vestia asked Starr.

"I will need to talk to him about making something to carry these three in while they are little like this." Starr said thoughtfully "I should probably go to him though, so we can work out how."

"His room is adjusted to be really high in oxygen, is that okay for the babies at this age?" Vestia asked. She knew they could survive anything pretty much later on, but they had just hatched! They might need more time, right?

Starr chuckled and shook her head "No, I was thinking of going alone and letting Ellie and Shane stay here with the babies" She clarified

"Oh, I see," Vestia said to Starr. "Well then, I have no objections."

To Armin Vestia said, "Starr's hoping to come visit and talk about a project she's thinking about, if that's okay?"

Starr chuckled and looked to Ellie and Shane. "If you two don't have other plans that is."

Shane shrugged and smiled "I don't have any plans."

"I'm always happy to babysit babies this cute!" Ellie said.

Starr chuckled and stood petting the babies that were already sleeping in the hands that held them again before heading out the door "Let me know if the third one starts cracking" She asked before heading to Aramin's room, shifting to her star dragons so she wouldn't have to worry about breathing in there.

Armin nodded and set down his work, he was just finishing up a tie.
"Of course." He told Vestia.

Luka waved a hand. "I think I can just about manage it. If you find me collapsed on the floor just prod me with your foot a few times. "

Starr came to Aramin's room and knocked on the door.

"Okay, see you in a bit," James said. He headed for the med lab and found Asher and Kay arranging shelves together. Dang, those two really were perfect for each other. So boring. "Is this a bad time?" He asked jokingly.

Kay turned and tilted his head at James. [You come to actually work for once, or because someone else is too much of a coward to come looking for painkillers?] He smirked.

"Come in." Armin called pleasantly.

Starr came in and smiled at Aramin "Hello, Aramin" She said and came over to him, looking tot he tie then back to him. "That looks nice"

"The latter," James said cheerfully. "Can't tell you who it is, patient confidentiality and all that."

Asher laughed. "Your reputation is scaring away our patients, Kay."

Armin smiled. "Thank you friend Starr. I heard the news, congratulations. We are most honoured to see the birth of more Star Dragons." He bowed his head.

Kay looked pleased.

Starr smiled at that and nodded "We are blessed to have them, but now I need something to carry them in so they are not stuck alone in the room all the time."

"A sort of infant sling?" Armin asked.

Luka went to eat breakfast

Starr nodded and looked to him "Yes, something they can sit in and be carried around in without falling out until they are old enough to at least glide"

Armin nodded and reached for a pen and paper that was on his workbench. "Will you be in your dragon or humanoid form the majority of the time you will be carrying them? How large are the infants? " he asked, noting things down.

James snorted. "You seem way too happy about scaring off the patients, man."

Asher grinned. "Fewer patients means less nuisances. You must understand that."

James looked amused and went to look for painkillers.

"They are about five inches tall right now, but they will grow to about a foot tall before they learn to glide" Starr said and thought about what was needed "I don't know which form I would be in more, or who would be carrying them if we leave before they are old enough, so maybe make the strap adjustable?"

Armin nodded and wrote things down, then set the paper aside. "leave it with me, I will come up with something I am certain." He bowed his head. "Again, congratulations my friend. If you need any further assistance please do not hesitate to ask. I am as always, at your disposal." He smiled.

Kay nodded. [Means only the properly sick come in here.] He continued to smirk.

"You're a terrible example for my brother," James said, feigning disapproval. He found some painkillers, took them, waved to the older medics, and headed off to find Luka.

Starr smiled at Aramin again and nodded "Thank you, my friend. If you want any help with that, let me know." She didn't want to just leave it all on him, even if he was the best they had at tailoring here.

Kay looked amused [We're terrible influences on each other I assure you. ] He waved as James left and looked to Asher. [So who do you think it is this time?]
