"Don't sit on the table Ellie! We need you here! not in some boring sorting office" Matt laughed.

"Maybe only a paper sized chunk of you would disappear." Esk suggested calmly as he finally finished his form. "now that would be unpleasant."

"I would not advise standing on the pad if you are not used to teleportation." Flora said with a shake of her head, "You'll also startle a few poor souls that are just trying to get their jobs done.

"Well, when the ghosts get tired, they are allowed to 'pass on' as many people put it with the help of the Grims."

"I prefer to believe in oblivion." Luka remarked softly. "It's more comforting to think you just.. stop being."

Matt nodded. "Yeah.. it's a bit less scary to just believe that one minute you are, and then you aren't. Like a switch going off, or like... going to sleep."

Kay put his form on the pad. This conversation was morbid. [Now what?] He asked Flora.

Ellie snickered. "You gotta admit, it would be funny." She didn't try it though.

"Now... The Tour! We can start at Capitol Square?" She asked everyone, smiling gently.

"A tour!" James looked excited by that. He did edge a bit closer to Luka though, he found her presence reassuring when he wasn't safely indoors.

Ethan sighed.

"A tour sounds wonderful," Asher said warmly.

Luka linked arms with james, so they wouldn't get separated in the crowds.. honest.. not for comfort at all nope, not because she was starting to think of him like the stupid brother she already had 5 of.. naaaah.

Kay nodded thankfully at the change of subject.

Everyone left added their forms to the pad.

"A tour!" Swarm was excited.

Mourn grinned at Ethan. "Be over soon, then go back to hiding or... whatever you do." He snickered.

"Why hide when there is so much to see in life?" Flora asked, laughing at the thought. "What's the point of living if you do so behind a closed door?"

She led them down the hall that split into a large and busy room, weaving them through to a main portal that shined gold and murmured of a busy street on the other side.

Ethan glared at the woman's back. "I don't need to justify my preferences to you," he muttered. People. So many people. Ugh.

Mourn made a face at Flora behind her back.

Matt stared at the portal. "ooo portals." He grinned.

"Oh that's so disorienting." Luka remarked.

Starr, Shane, sawna, Skye, Moone and the chicks and the others followed quietly.

Ethan eyed Mourn, "What's with the faces? Are you providing emotional backup, or are you just making faces for the fun of it?"

Asher looked at the portal with interest. He'd been through portals before, several times now, but he was a bit hesitant to use one that lead to a bustling street. He'd let someone else go first, preferably Flora.

Ellie tugged lightly on Shane's arm. "Come on, man! Let's go through the portal!" She wasn't scared of drawing attention to herself!

Mourn grinned at Ethan. "No like being told what to do." He shrugged.
It was true, he didn't. Particularly not life advice. Nope. He became distracted by the portal though, watching the street beyond curiously.

Shane shrugged a little and took her arm to go through the portal and into the street beyond, after all, he could bubble them to keep them from hitting anyone if needed.

Ellie dragged Shane through to look around. She wasn't going to wait for anybody!

Shane looked around the busy street curiously, making sure this side of the portal was clear for the others to come through

Matt followed Ellie and Shane fearlessly, hey, he wasn't afraid of no portal.

Mourn sniffed the air, shrugged and followed.

Esk waited for their host, because he wasn't going to go charging blindly into the unknown.

Starr would go through with the others, watching around the area curiously

Flora led them through the portal happily. We will continue to Planet Genesis -- Capitol Square.

Arya showed Tala and Esk towards the other docking stations, coming up to one a bit more secluded. On it seemed to be a crow-likr creature that was carefully trying to pick off one of the grotesque beasts that stuck itself to the side of the ship.

Nebuleeches were disgusting creatures. Large and naturally armoured leeches with exoskeletal shells protecting their backside as their jagged circular mouths painfully anchored themselves onto their victims. They were of a sickly gray and purple color and their slime reeked of rotten sulfur. The crow looked up as they approached, looking relieved. "Oh thank the leylines."

"Yeah, thank the leylines!" A male voice sputtered from the small ship that could house about three people. It was painted red, but crimson blood oozed from its walls from the wounds of previous leeches already pulled off.

Esk looked at the ship, then at the leeches, then down at his hands. Hmm. "is there a trick to getting these off or do you just pull?" He asked flatly.

Tala wrinkled her nose. "They smell most unpleasant."

"They ARE most unpleasant." The ship replied matter-of-factly.

"We can't just pull them off or it will really hurt Explorer here." He tapped his talons on the ship. "It's done a certain way where you get an object like a knife and slide it between the ship and the leech to slice it off, like this."

To demonstrate, the crow manifested a small blade that was a clear pink color, and slid the arcana blade right under the teeth, peeling it off. Explorer hissed a bit but didn't seem to mind as the leech fell to the floor, wriggling. "We don't want these things infesting the port, since they can chew through just about anything, so we need to kill them quickly." The crow explained.

"And how do we do that?" Esk asked, watching the thing writhe. Ew, these things were gross. He took out a knife and handed it to Tala. "Ladies first." He smirked.

Tala took the knife and happily went to see about pulling out a leech. "You can always embrace them, Esk," she said cheerfully.

"Any way, really. Though we'd prefer it to be humane?" The crow called down from above, going to the next leech stuck to the hull.

"Humane?" Esk looked skeptical, then shrugged at Tala. "I could... " How well could these things move? He went to get a closer look.
