Upon Vestia: Chapter Eleven

She blinked and nodded, "Yea...?"

She giggled, "fair enough, but it probably disappoints vestia~"

Merith followed, waving goodbye to Vanessa and Shock, shaking his head. "I know I'm not the most modest of people but I certainly hope this won't be a routine thing from her..."

Kay looked amused. She's fine, she gets enough of a show elsewhere i'm sure. He frowned. Do you not find it a little unsettling to think you're just entertainment like that?

"At least it for one then hundreds like some human cultures have it...plus normally we cover the screen." She mused.

"Well she is pregnant, so her hormones are going crazy," Asher said lightly. "And she's not supposed to use her hands since one is broken, so..."

Kay shook his head. I wonder how much she actually enjoys watching us scurry about with our ridiculous lives like this. I'm certain if I had to watch half of what she does, i'd have tried to disengaged my camera and audio feeds already. Or possibly just cut off all life support.

Heny softly smirked, "it take a special soul to be a smart ship....I remember another one that handled our antics..." She paused, the joy faulting, "Oh kooshie..."

Kay frowned. Are you alright?

"Y-yea." She rubbed her eyes trying to stop the tears, "Just,just remembering a old friend that all.." She chocked.

Oh dear. Kay looked sympathetic and patted Heny's shoulder supportively. It's alright

Merith walked in alongside Asher, viewing the holosuite's visions and looking at Kay and Heny together. "Well..." He couldn't tell whether to be unamused, laugh, or decide to poke fun at Kay fr being in such a situation.

Kay looked up at Merith and Asher and frowned, he looked a bit bewildered.

"What happened?" Asher asked, concerned. He walked over, "Are you guys okay?"

Kay nodded. [Something triggered a memory, I don't think hormones helped. ] He patted Heny's shoulder again.

"S-sorry..." She mumbled, trying to stop the crying as she look at merith, to kay horror those thoughts returned stronger.

Argh. Damnit Heny! At least, a small mercy, Merith wasn't someone Kay found remotely attractive so Heny's thoughts were more ew than anything else. He tried to throw his mental blocks up to mute her loud broadcasting. It was somewhat like trying to block out a megaphone by sticking your fingers in your ears.

He winced.

Merith walked closer to Heny and held her in his arms, smiling softly as he gently kissed her forehead. "Relax, Hen, there's no need to be crying. It's not fitting for a lady like you." He whispered in her ear.

Eugh. [We'll give you some privacy.] Kay wrote, nodding to Heny. Privacy, see, important.

"Ewww not in the new holodeck!" Vestia yelped.

She blushed as her thoughts went through the roof, "I-I didnt mean to..." She muttered nuzzling into him.

Kay laughed silently at Vestia's protest. [I did tell her it wasn't for that, she's not listening.] Argh Heny!
Go go room, now. He told her, shooing them both. Feel better soon
Eugh.

"I appreciate your efforts, Kay," Vestia said solemnly, "You did try."

Asher averted his eyes politely from Heny's affectionate display. Poor Kay, he hoped Heny hadn't been giving him too much trouble while he was gone.

Merith chuckled, and swept Heny up, "Why don't we give Vestia some grace and go somewhere more private...?"

Heny yelped and held on, "Fine fine.." She mumbled with a sigh, "Quarters or...?"

"We can do quarters," Merith chuckled.

She smirked, "We lead the way since you are carrying me." She snickered.

Kay shook his head and shot Asher a "let's get outta here" glance. Yes, privacy good. Away from Heny and her... thoughts... eugh.
He headed off back to the medical room.
