Acus deeply sighed and nodded yes while forcing himself to stand he would walk leaning on the wall to the medical bay.

He stubbornly refused as he sway his way to were his shots were kept, "Gonna have to get most in a few months." He commented softly pulling out one of the auto shots.

He pursed his lips, even his own pride went so far, "Can you, please?" He asked while holding out the tube towards James.

James took it, and injected it carefully, after looking to Acus to make sure he wasn't doing it wrong. His hands were steadier than the captain's, at least.

"All right, let's get you to bed," James said fondly, "Rest will do you good. Or at least, that's what my brother says." He offered his arm again in case Acus wanted to lean on it, even though he was pretty sure Acus was going to decide to walk on his own again.

James yelped and quickly caught Acus so he wouldn't fall on his face. A good medic probably wouldn't have yelped, but James had never claimed to be a good medic, anyway. He held Acus steady. "Maybe you should lean on me," he suggested.

James helped Acus back to his room, and settled him gently in his nest again. "I'll get you some water. Do you want me to stay, or would you prefer to be alone?"

James laughed softly and got him another glass of water. "You seem okay enough that it won't cause me much pain either way. If you really want company, or really don't want company, then I'll help you out."

"Okay, I'm gonna go see what the others are doing. I heard something that sounded suspiciously like hooves as we were walking back," James said. "If you need me, ask Swarm to find me. I bet they can do that." Looking at the room in general he said a bit louder, "We love you, Swarm."

Swarm was literally everywhere in the ship, like a sort of infestation you couldn't get rid of. A few of them pooled together into a small cloud and bobbed thanks to James before scattering again.

James smiled fondly at the Swarm, and headed out for the space station. Asher would have disapproved of him going out there alone, he was sure, but hey, Asher wasn't here anyway.

James returned to the ship and let Swarm crawl off onto a safe surface, watching them affectionately. Adorable little bugs. He supposed he should check on Acus soon.

Some more of Swarm gathered with their drunk brethren. The drunk ones couldn't really do much other than crawl about on the table and fall over one another. Their sober companions helped them.

Esk let Vicky lead him. "It's fine, she missed me... " He protested. "mostly."
