"Have to word it as an order." Swarm added helpfully. "Androids are like genies, you have to be very very clear in your wording. Semantics! Aren't they fun?" It chattered to itself about semantics and bad wishes for a bit.

James gasped with relief, stopping himself from talking. "Second Law is a bitch, man," he said after a moment. He shot Luka a glare.

Luka went with Dawn, sitting beside her and patting her on the shoulder reassuringly. "It'll be okay. the Swarm's probably right, he'll stop wanting to die soon and be back to his usual cranky self." She was trying to believe that herself too.
