"Man that's complicated. " Matt rubbed his head, yeah, that was enough to give anyone a headache. "He's got no moral high ground now though right? Because he's totally got a kid now."

Ellie rolled her eyes, then laughed. "Fine, I'm funny. Ready to go home? I'm tired from the flying!"

Skye looked to Swarm and frowned "What do you mean? If anyone is going to fight, they will take Vestia, so we would have to have a place to stay, right?"

Mourn shrugged. "I no tired. "

"I thought cats always got tired fast," Ellie said.

"Not cat, Felid." Mourn protested. "No get tired fast, just like sleeping. Big difference." He grinned at her.

Skye landed and frowned at that then sighed and shook her head "I don't know." She was saying that an awful lot lately and she didn't like that. She shook her head again "I guess tell the others I'm heading back then. I just want to be alone and think"

The eagles were watching the two speak curiously

Ellie giggled. "Okay then. Guess there's a difference between being tired and liking to sleep." She smiled at the eagles, "I think I'm gonna head home, I gotta keep practicing planty stuff and the flying was like, woah."

Eve nodded and smiled at her "The elevator is through the door there, then down the hall and on the right."

Mourn nodded. "I go back to roof! Meet bird people!" He declared.

Skye nodded and turned away to fly, though she didn't head directly for the portal or Vestia. She wanted to be alone for a while, so she headed to see what she could find

Ellie hugged Eve and said goodbye to everyone, then headed off toward home.

(TIMESKIPPP AND RUN TO THE OTHER THREAD)

The day of the Lunar Festival was no less than vibrant. Everyone with a job seemed busy and bustling to prepare for the night. Stores were closing for all except the ones with open front bars while those who did not pulled out carts filled with midnight colored garments or preparing fresh goods. The lanterns were being hung up, not yet lit as beautifully leaved garlands crossed over the rooftops and across the streets like streamers. The festivities were also getting ready, musical instruments being tuned as a few songbirds of men and women tested their vocals. Pegasi rides were to be there, as all Pegasi available were present and dressed up. A lone thestral however, continued to eat his bucket of carnivorous feed without a single bell or whistle on him. Odd orbs of light floated in the vicinity and a large portal was set up near the fountain, in front of it, a variety of species, some with wolf features, and all in purple tabards of Stormhowl, were practicing breathing exercises and going through slow and repetive stances, like yoga. Lupa led them all through the motions.

"You control the beast, the beast does not control you. Tame your rage, and relent your fury. Forgive your enemies. Forgive your friends, and forgive yourself. These are the words you must know to keep yourself... yourself. Do not doubt yourself, and you shall never fall... Let Aisling's purpose breathe through you." Lupa told them all calmly, all of them oddly sedated.

Luka lead the way through the portal to the capital, looking around in awe at the festivities. "wow... they know how to decorate at least" She couldn't help but smile a little at the lanterns, they were a familiar symbol of celebration to her.

She paled a little when she saw the storm howl and whispered to James "is that them? the... infected?" the wolf tabards seemed a dead giveaway.

James looked around delightedly. "No kidding, these guys know how to get in the festive spirit."
He looked to the wolf tabard guys, following Luka's gaze, "Looks like they are." Looked like they were trying to stay calm, eek. Presumably they knew what they were doing or they'd be locked up though. "Come on, let's go look at shoes?" He said carefully. Satare plus lycanthropes was a bad combination, he was sure.

Skye and Moone made their way off Vestia, heading for the Artuvian hotel to have their festival and to help where the two of them could. They had already left the invitation for any who wanted to come as well, since they had been accepted by the other Artuvians.

Orel was helping to set things up for the Artuvian festival. Putting out food, moving tables, decorating, whatever. His parents had made food to bring. They loved their culture, okay?

Skye noticed Orel as they arrived, taking the chicks to the baby area where they would be looked after so the others could mingle as they wanted.

Orel blushed at the sight of Skye and busied himself putting chairs around a table before coming over. "Hey Skye," he said, smiling a bit. Religious differences just couldn't kill his crush on that girl.

Mourn would totally come along to the bird festival, he liked the bird people, they were fun. Besides, he didn't trust stupid hawk boy not to upset the Hawk Girls again and he was protective of them.

Luka nodded, still glancing back every so often at the werewolves. "I wonder if Esk has any silver bullets...." She mused more to herself as James guided her awaaay and toward shoes.
She cheered up once they were out of sight of the infected.

One of the Stormhowl turned, his careful, wolfish ears with that much sensitivity swiviling with him as he began glaring at Luka, opening their mouth to say something -- before they were promptly snapped at by Lupa for breaking concentration, more particularly giving Luka's comment any reaction whatsoever, chastising him for succumbing to the negative emotion, even if it was slightly, but according to Lupa, even the smallest ounce of anger left unconstrained could prove dangerous. The man in question began to apologize profusely to the alpha and promised that their anger would be held to more check.

Lupa narrowed her eyes, "And should this happen again, you participation tonight will be questioned..." she returned to the front of the class, but did cast Luka an odd, careful look.

James watched the werewolves' interactions a bit nervously. Yeah, those were still beings with a load of anger right under the surface. Yikes. He moved between Luka and the infected. "Come on," he muttered to Luka, "Let's go look at shoes." Please please please.

"Hi" Skye said, glancing to Moone as the younger girl walked off to see what was going on here. Skye dipped her head then looked to Orel again, holding her hands in front of herself

"shoes good." Luka agreed. The infected scared her, a lot. that they were allowed to wander around unrestrained scared her even more. She made a note to make sure she kept her weapon with her this evening, just in case.
She hurried down a street lined with carts selling all manner of things and quite quickly found someone selling footwear.
