The two shuttles both grabbed the rogue shuttle in their tractor beams and together towed her back to the shuttle bay where more security officers were ready and waiting to question her.

"Ah." John nodded, seemingly satisfied with that answer as he sneezed.

Third shook his head. "Not therapy. The followers would find the ones that hurt, and take them away from that, turn them into one of them, help them start a new life as something different." He frowned, "I used to be one of them, until I lost contact and transformed into an Entropium, myself, but I still have the ability to sense pain. Now, I am merely curious as to why."

Asher found a packet of tissues in one of his pockets and handed one to John.

"Thanks," John muttered, wiping his nose and crumpling up the tissue and tossing it in a street trash can.

Esk watched him for a moment, then he looked to the potted plant that was sitting on the table in front of them. Centerpieces, made to look pretty. Supposedly prettier than flowers and less maintenance.
He pulled one glove off. "Because of this." He reached out and tapped a single leaf, the entire plant immediately recoiled, shriveled and turned black, the leaves all curling up as the plant died. He pulled his glove back on. "I can't control it. Does that answer your question?" He sounded detatched.

They'd reach the hotel. "Shall we leave you here then?" Asher asked uncertainly.

Third frowned, looking at Esk. He seemed to think for a moment before shaking his head. "No, we aren't doing that." He said to no one in particular. He sighed, "Well, it does... partially. But I can't help but feel it's more than that... Alas, if you insist I won't pry." He stepped back and sat down.

John nodded, "That's fine, thanks... Can I ask, when your ship is leaving?"

"After we get the supplies we were after" Shane said and watched John curiously "What so you do for a living?"

"mm." Esk grunted and went back to his art, putting the finishing touches on a sketch of the skaters.

Matt came back with drinks and placed a mug in front of third.

"Et voila." He grinned and sat back down. He noticed the plant. "Oh poor thing, now someone's gonna have to buy a new one."

"That's their problem." Esk muttered.

Armin left the shop to go get some signs printed. Closing down sale, everything must go. That kinda thing.
He noticed Shane and Asher and bowed his head graciously. "Hello again friends, it is good to see you on the other side of the bars again."

Shane waved to Armin and smiled "Hey, how are you doing now that you are with your family again?"

Asher smiled at Armin, "Thank you for your help earlier. We're extremely grateful."

"I'm a nomad." The Terran said simply, "I pick up odd jobs and travel with whomever would take me. That's why I asked about your ship..."

The fox stared at the plant, "Hmm... Still... something as lowly as a plant... Might be salvageable..."

"Our ship is always willing to take new passengers," Asher said, smiling. "It can be rather hazardous to travel with us though."

"Why are you both obsessed with the fucking plant, it's dead, get over it." Esk snapped.

Armin bowed his head once more. "Berit is... extremely upset as I am certain you noticed. We have decided that perhaps our time here is at an end and it is time to move on. " He looked to Asher. "I am relieved it was resolved without more bloodshed. "

Shane nodded and moved closer to Armin so they could talk easier "We wouldn't mind ferrying you, if you wanted to. I rather liked our talks on the way here, but I was not prepared for how tall she actually is. That was incredible"

Armin was amused by that, he chuckled. "My sister is an imposing figure yes. You do not annoy a Vavare female, it is generally extremely bad for your health." He bowed his head again. "You would be willing to take us? Oh such generosity, we would of course pay our way. As much as possible at least."

"Because," Third explained, walking forward, "Vanessa once told me... That a branch of flora magi can bring life back into plants, because of how differently they're built from animals." He suddenly began sternly stare at the plant, as if concentrating...

"Hazardous...?" He then noticed their attention was deterred by what he assumed was their friend. The Terran blinked, standing there awkwardly and half debating on whether or not to go on without them.

Asher smiled at John. "We're on Vestia, the cruise ship everyone was talking about yesterday."

Armin bowed his head to the terran as well, as it was polite to do so. "Greetings to you friend."

Esk looked unimpressed.

Matt however watched in facination.

Shane chuckled and nodded then glanced over to John again "Yeah, hazardous. Some people don't like us for standing up for what's right, like with the android female today"

"These are good people, they saved me from being attacked and killed by thugs on my last delivery. I owe this crew my life." Armin told John earnestly.

James left Silver Devil and trotted into the station, sauntering by a few groups of mean-looking creatures without any concern for his safety, despite their at times hateful stares. He had to find Esk, these guys didn't matter to him much.

The air grew thick with Third's arcana and she inhaled deeply and breathed out. For a moment, the leaves that his breath touched unfurled and yellowed, then shone a vivid, lively green, before Third could no longer take the strain of trying to lull something back to life and gasped, panting to catch his breath. "No good. I'm not experienced enough..." He said sadly, watching the leaves wilt and wither again.

"Ah..." The Terran said, looking a tad bit over his head.

Esk raised an eyebrow.

Matt applauded. "Dude! that was awesome though! "

Shane smiled and shook his head "Just breaking up a fight before it could get started." He said then laughed a little "Just like with the girl today, bunch of cowards want to fight someone who can't or won't fight back."

James spotted Esk at a table with some other guy and a fox who he wasn't entirely sure he knew. He blinked curiously; Esk wasn't exactly sociable with people. He walked over, "Hey Esk, who are your friends?"

Esk looked over at James, muttered something under his breath and rolled his eyes.
"So much for some quiet time."

Matt waved. "Hey!" He grinned. "I'm Matt." He noticed the android badge.

"My foster brother." Esk waved a hand vaguely in Matt's direction, sounding exasperated. "and his... buddy."

"Third." Matt pointed at the fox.

"This is our ship's janitor." Esk shook his head.

"Hey, i'm a janitor too! And Third's my reluctant apprentice for the week! Janitor convention! Told you were were a secret club" He snickered to Third.

"Hey Third, hey Matt," James looked delighted. "There aren't enough janitors in the world, it's good to meet you two," he said. He grinned at Esk. "Now you're outnumbered, so you can't make fun of us."
