Perfect place to dump slavers.

Kay tried very hard not to wince at that.

Mourn tilted his head, noticing that, but shrugged. Assuming maybe Kay just didn't like werewolves or something. Or was just being his usual cranky self.

"I got find hawk girls." He left to go do that.

Starr sighed and shook her head, holding up the vial. "Let me dispose of this and we can go...apparently the slavers had this of my blood and a vial of lycanthrope blood on them. We should have gone through their stuff."

Kay flinched. [I thought we had, of course, wasn't my order to give now was it. ] He shook his head, paling a little. [What do you think they intend to do with it?] He felt a little sick at the thought of some slavers having his blood, what could they do with it? Engineer another plague? weaponize it? The ideas were too sickening and upsetting to imagine. [How much does Ellie know?] He needed to know how much she'd told the terran, her words didn't exactly fill him with confidence about her reaction should she find out the truth.

Starr shook her head a little. "Only the most basic things in general. " She said then looked around for one of Vestia's bots to take the vial and get rid of it so they could leave.

A bot telescoped out an arm to take the vial, and scurried off with it for safe disposal in the med bay.

He was relieved Ellie was still oblivious, but it was clear he was deeply concerned.
He scrolled through the list of supplies on his tablet as a means to distract himself.

"We can go now and find another subject." Starr said and headed to go to town.

Kay nodded gratefully, following her. [I think we should see how much we can obtain legitimately, then see about the less... safe options. ] He wasn't totally sure how comfortable he was with the black market but Starr was pretty scary, she could probably keep them both safe.

"where would she hang it?" Matt asked

"She does have a bridge, I think. I've never been there," Ellie said thoughtfully. "Maybe we could hang it off the steering wheel."

"Man, I wanna see her bridge now... she won't let us in there I bet, we're like, too irresponsible or whatever. " Matt snorted, and winced. Owww nose.

"Agreed" Starr said as she walked with him to the stores to buy what they could from them

Shane chuckled as he walked with Ellie and Matt to the town. "That would be interesting."

Kay would manage to get a few things, some slightly stronger sedatives but as he'd suspected, anything that would actually knock him out for any length of time required some pretty serious paperwork. Still, it was better than nothing.
He'd also totally organize a delivery of more damn step stools for the ship, because who the heck knew where the others went to.

"Maybe she'll let us fly sometime," Ellie said hopefully, "I flew a shuttle once, how much harder can a cruise ship be?"

"I totally flew a shuttle! Vestia helped but.. I didn't crash it!" Matt declared proudly.

Starr giggled a little at the step stool thing, because it was odd. She found most of what she needed easily enough, though there were some items she would heave to find elsewhere."

"Totally different ship" Shane said then shrugged. "It's a bigger thing to fly a ship the size of Vestia than a shuttle"

"I bet the bridge has plush seats, and stations for all the crew, like in Star Trek," Ellie said. "We can all try and figure her out together."

Kay would shoot her a "stop mocking my shortness" glare at her giggling but he didn't really look like he was truely offended.
[So I suppose it's your turn to lead the way. ] He smiled softly, looking a little worried.

"You Shane, are way too sensible. " Matt told him. "Man, i'm so curious now. I mean sure she flies herself but... there's so much we haven't seen. Like, have you guys seen the kiddy pool? There's fountains!"

Starr smiled softly then nodded and looked around "I did a little research since I haven't been here before personally and I knew what I needed." She said and led the way.

"we should totally have a pool party." Matt declared.

Kay nodded and followed.

"Yeah, pool parties! I bet we could even get the boring people interested," Ellie said hopefully.

"well.. Thalia hates water so would just sulk but maybe the fountains would be okay." Matt shrugged. Thalia's hydrophobia bemused him.

Starr headed to a jewelry store and went in, going to the counter and looking to the clerk. She asked about gold and silver, wanting the metal for the amulets.

Shane laughed and nodded "Yeah, that would be fun."

Kay kept well away from any silver, eying it suspiciously. He'd made the mistake of picking some up once, it wasn't a lesson that needed repeating. He just kept quiet and let Starr do all the trading.

"Oh look, used robot shop!" Ellie said. "Let's go gawk at Asher's cousins!"

"used robots.. " Matt snickered. "that just... yes, let's! Actually i'm kinda curious. You think they're all weird like him?"
