"Ah! This way!" The bat said softly, leading them and allowed them to talk for a bit.

"yea, before it was offically banned by the galatic council to be a legal form of entertainment. I was in the field of medicine before I got whisk away." He sighed, "I was one of the "lucky" ones and fought well enough that they decided my genes should be past on." He snorted.

Starr frowned and shook her head at that then sighed "I can't stand those fights either."

He shrugged, "Nor can I, many children were bred and then suddenly freed without any education unfortunately. I was lucky and my "owner" figured that he would have better chance of offsprings if they were out of love..

"Yes, love can help to breed children" Starr said and looked to him "Did she get free with you?"

The bat led them to the snake, which actually dozed in a thick tree at a park. He opened an eyelid and looked at them, "Hmm?" Before noticing Starr and lifting his head slightly, looking surprised, shifting his seat a bit as he wondered if he should depart again. "Oh..."

he softly smiled, "Yea, she did. She lives off ship so I dont get to seem them often." He cringed, "They are gonna kill me for not being there for the grandchild babyshower.."

"Some things are unavoidable" Starr said and looked over to Ironscales "Hello again"

"True enough...Hey iron, she wanna talk to you and you owe me a shirt." He remarked.

"What do you require?" He asked Starr kindly, sliding down the bark. "And Marcus, just go buy one. I'll pay you later. Otherwise, you ARE getting a beach bum shirt!"

"You wouldnt dare.." He said narrowing his eyes at Ironscales.

Starr dipped her head, shy for a moment. "I wanted to talk about a job other than slavery for your crew."

Within the streets a female avian would gasp and clutch herh eart, pain filling it as her vision blurred. She panted, her body aching with pain as she tried to make sense of what just happened. Her body shook as her brain tried to compute the sudden pain and misery she felt. "A-avia.." She whispered weakly as her vision blackened.

The Serpenti tilted his head in slight surprised, "Oh? Is that so? What do you suppose we could do, then?"

Merith and Shock had been out enjoying the sights and pretty much trying to outplay each other. Shock kept trying to get Merith into a challenge and see who could charm more chicks, but it didn't happen. Merith was thinking of Heny's sake. That's when they stopped when the female Avian popped out of nowhere and gasped in pain. Both froze. Shock muttered, "Holy shit..."

She would fall to the ground her body and mind overloaded.

Starr shrugged "I suggested becoming assassins for the angels, but she didn't like that idea" She said then motioned to Claudia then looked to him again "Then I suggested bounty hunting, that is lucrative work"

Matt appeared somewhere near the commotion with the avian, he frowned and looked around for Merith. He wasn't far away, with Shock and the female who looked to be in terrible pain.
He jogged over.

"Hey! guys! You gotta head back to the ship. Some winged woman appeared, she's asking for you Merith. Something about Avia... I.. " He hesitated, it felt really wrong to be talking about planets exploding around MERITH, he winced. "Just.. come with me... "

He looked to the female. "Is she okay?" Yeah she didn't look it. Should they find her help too? they should probably find her help too. "look, you head back, i'll make sure she's okay. "

Erich and Shock looked at each other. "Winged woman?" The former asked.

"You don't think..."

"It probably is..."

"But why would she--?!"

"Don't ask me..."

"Dude," Shock said, sounding impressed, "Being summoned by a goddess. Are you sure you're not a muse or something?"

Merith looked at his friend, unamused, before looking down at the Abian woman that Shock was lifting up gently into his arms. "Well... Make sure she's safe. I'll go check what's going on." He suddenly rocketed off at alarming speed towards Vestia.

The snake blinked slowly at Starr, flicking his tongue slightly in thought. "Well, that's certainly a tough call... A bounty hunter ship... But, there's so many of us..." He glanced at Marcus but once, otherwise ignoring him completely.

Suddenly Shock felt it. A pain, sort of like how Merith had felt it when Syren had passed on. This time, though, it manifested in physical pain as Shock cried out, dropping the woman as he collapsed to his knees. He clutched his chest, looking pained. "W-W-What?... N-No... C-Can't be..."

"Some bounty hunters work together, and with a crew the size or yours, you could have a whole company based off your ship." Starr suggested then shrugged

Luckily for shock Silv was out..

Matt tried to catch Shock and the female as his knees buckled. "It's okay, it'll be okay." He tried to be reassuring but honestly he was panicking a bit. What did you do to help people suffering this kind of psychic backlash?
They couldn't stay here in the middle of the street, it wasn't safe. But who was the female and where was safe for her?

He looked around for anyone who could help. They had to get off the street.

"Shock, do you think you can make it back to Vestia?"

Matt took the lack of response as a no, Shock didn't look in a good way and the female looked even worse. He frowned, he didn't really know what to do. He only knew he couldn't leave them here.

Vestia was relatively safe, even though he had no idea who the girl was, she'd be safer there than out here.
He looked around for anyone who might know more, but most of the shops had already closed and there weren't too many people about right now. Everyone was too glued to the news reports coming in.

He sighed, picked the unconcious woman up and grabbed Shock by the hand. "Don't let go." He instructed, making sure he had a solid grip on both of them before stepping backwards and disappearing.

"A company..." The Serpenti seemed to ponder on that idea. He finally nodded, "It is a plausible idea. I would say that it's a risk, but if we gain enough reputation... Perhaps be a general form of bounty hunting..." Ironscale smiled slowly down at Starr, "I would take the risk, I suppose, but Matthew says the final verdict, my dear."

Starr nodded and gave a smile. "Yes, I know, but I thought it might be best to talk to you first, he doesn't exactly like me so may not want to listen to my words" She said then shrugged "Not that I blame him, we have been fighting since we met."

Suddenly, Ironscale gave out a thick, hearty laugh. "Eh? The Captain may be a bit of an ass, lass, but he can see reason. You see, first impressions and mannerisms are big for him. Outside of his job, if you treat him with respect, he'll do you the same. He doesn't simply talk rudely unless he feels he's being threatened or attacked or even judged somehow."

Starr sighed then shrugged "Maybe so, maybe not, but if you stop being slavers then I at least would have nothing against you" She said then looked towards the ocean "I guess we could talk to him if he's still up"
