Upon Vestia: Chapter Five

"All right... right, we'd better get him to the med... the med bay," Asher said. "And... and do some tests to see what's needed."

Starr frowned and shook her head "If you are hurting my friends, you have made a mistake." She warned, taking a step towards them then noticing the tasers and growling. "We only came here to restock, nothing more"

Matt kinda curled up at this point, gasping for air after being electrocuted. Everything ACHED, he didn't really want to move. But he did realize a gun was now pointed at him and tried very very hard to get up. But nope, his arms were shaking too badly for him to do anything useful.

Kay shrugged, and smiled reassuringly as they headed back to the ship.

"Of course. Let us restrain you, then your boyfriend will be just fine," the spokeswoman said to Thalia, almost sounding like her request was reasonable.

"All right then, come with us quietly," Starr's spokesman said, keeping his taser gun leveled at her.
Rule #1 of catching aliens: always keep the taser pointed at them, unless they're immune to tasers, in which case you pull out a gun.

"Halt! You are being brought on trial as alien and associate of alien, to be tried by the Third Planet Humanists!" Shouted a thuggish looking cop as Asher and Kay left the depot. His partner glared at them balefully. Both had the required taser guns at the ready.
"Uh oh," muttered Asher to Kay.

"Tie me and you'll regret it." He said harshly, only willing to go so far.

Starr narrowed her eyes, a move they couldn't see as she stepped closer almost calmly "You really should not do this" She said then smiled sweetly and whispered. "It will be bad for your health." She hoped to catch them off guard, kicking out at one then the other wuickly

"Thalia... just... " Matt managed to get into a sitting position and gulped at the gun pointed at his head. "What'd we do wrong?" He asked.

Kay froze, damnit they just needed supplies. He looked to Asher to do the talking, as he obviously couldn't.

"Refuse to submit, and he gets a bullet to the brain," she responded to Thalia calmly. "You're in no position to be making threats." She ignored Matt's question.

The attackers were well-trained enough to anticipate Starr's resistance, and they started firing on her with their taser guns. They knew they needed to incapacitate foes quickly to succeed; that was the only way to not wind up dead.

Asher frowned and moved to stand in front of Kay, wanting to protect him. "We're not here to cause trouble. How about you let us deliver our supplies to our ship, and then we can talk this over?" he asked.
The 'cops' shook their heads and fired their tasers.
The android wasn't able to dodge, and the weapon hit him with a massive jolt of electricity, instantly offlining him completely.

Kay dropped his bags as Asher collapsed. Shit.
His eyes narrowed, and he psychically screamed into the two cop's heads as loudly as he could.

Starr cried out and dropped tot he snowy ground, jerking uncontrollably at the taser. She closed her eyes trying to ride through the pain.

Matt raised one shaky hand in front of himself. He knew he couldn't dodge a bullet, so he couldn't really do a lot just yet. "please just.. put the gun down."

One of the cops collapsed to the ground, crying out in pain and clutching his head. The other struggled through the pain, trying to tase Kay even as his hands trembled and sweat broke out on his forehead.

Starr's attackers paused the tasing, testing to see how she responded, and hoping to handcuff her. Not that handcuffs worked on all aliens, but you had to try.

"We know better than to ever put down our weapons," the spokeswoman told Matt.

Thaila gritted his teeth, suddenly the gun holder would feel severe pain in his brain as he got attacked telepathically.

Kay collapsed in pain, gritting his teeth and fighting against the electrical jolts. He could get through shape changing, he could get through this damnit... He tried one more time, Psychic howling with every last ounce of energy he had left as he convulsed.

Starr had to just breath for a moment before looking at her attackers and growling. Quickly she shifted, losing the insulation of the jacket but gaining the power and size of the acid dragon. She used the tail to swipe the two humans away from her, already shivering in the cold. This form couldn't take the cold well.

She yelled in pain. "Do NOT make me pull the trigger!" she shouted at Thalia, barely maintaining her self control. Her finger hovered inside the safety.

The cops both struggled to fight the pain of Kay's attack, tasing him for longer than was generally recommended in hopes of disorienting him badly enough to leave him vulnerable, so they could restrain him.

Starr's other attacker activated her com and yelled, "We have a shifter on our hands! I repeat, we have a shifter!"
The first attacker started frantically trying to tase the acid dragon into submission.
"Shifter support incoming," crackled the reply.

Starr fell back again from the tasers, crying out loudly in hopes to warn the others and Vestia of the dangers here before she lost control of her voice also

Kay's mind went to fog, there was really only so long one could be electrocuted for before coherent thought because difficult. He gasped, and lost his psychic link completely. It took all his strength just to stay conscious, surely the pain had to stop eventually? right? right?

Matt kept his hands raised. "So... here's the thing. Are you guys stupid enough to shoot someone like me... and risk the repercussions? You don't know who I am, but let me tell you, you kill me, and you'll have a flotilla of pissed off aliens descending on this lovely little place you've built, and I really don't think you can take them all on. " He was bluffing.. mostly.

The spokewoman would had a nasty nose bleed when Thaila grungingly stoppped. He glared darkly at them all.

The shifter specialty hovercraft landed near Starr, and a few people in thick biohazard suits hurried out, carrying massive tranq guns. For this sort of situation, heavy artillery was very much required. They started trying to tranquilize her, because how else do you deal with a shifter?

The tasing did stop once Kay was thoroughly exhausted, and the cops rapidly cuffed his hands behind his back and injected him with a telepathy numbing drug to keep him under control. Then they called in a hovercraft and loaded him and Asher in.

"We've-we've heard it before," the spokeswoman said to Matt, ignoring her nosebleed. One of her teammates called in a hovercraft too, and it landed nearby.

Kay tried to fight back but he was far too exhausted, and then they drugged him which just made things worse. He slumped uselessly in their grip as they loaded him into the hovercraft.

"You got no idea lady. " Matt continued, trying to find an opening, a chance to grab Thaila and shape space outta here.

Thaila shifted his foot closer to matt within touching zone.

Matt cautiously tried to get to his feet. He had to be able to step before he could do this.

Thaila mentally froze the attackers around them briefly, a minute at max before yanking Matt up.

Starr couldn't concentrate to shift before they could tranquilize her. She tried to stay awake even through the drugs but was soon sleeping. Now they would have the acid dragon form (About 8ft tall) to deal with somehow. (lol)

The hovercraft backup team started firing at Matt and Thalia with tranquilizers.

The hovercraft took off with Kay and Asher.
"We got a telepath and a robot?" giggled one cop. "Funny."

The guys in the hazmat suits tugged the dragon into the craft, grumbling immensely at the creature's bulk and the way it started to melt their suits.

Matt waited a beat. "Don't let go." He clung tightly to Thalia's hand and stepped backwards, dragging him with him into nothing.

Starr wasn't able to do anything since she was asleep
