First topic message reminder :

A huge North American city, built in a mishmash of styles from many eras of architecture. the spaceport is bustling and filled with cruise ships, racing yachts, and transport craft. It's full of shops, clubs, gardens, and tourist attractions.

The weather is currently cool but sunny.

Rigel looked at the plush and chuckled then looked back to Luka. "Shall we see what other games are here?"

Rigel looked around and saw water gun games and a dunking booth along with many other games that didn't involve guns. They even had a bumper car tent set up.

Luka looked around in wonder. Some of the games looked relatively familiar, others were completely alien to her. She'd eagerly try out any games they came across, winning some, losing others. They'd bother probably end up with a few more plushies and other carnival junk.

Rigel followed along, playing games with or against her or cheering her to win others. It had been a long time since he had had this much fun or been to a carnival type place.

Luka was having fun, it was enough of a distraction to forget for a while that this was kinda their first actual date. Buzzing with adrenaline and excitement, Luka grinned at Rigel and pretty much dragged him to the dodgems, scattering cheaply made plushies as they fell from her arms.

Rigel stopped her to get a bag to put the prizes in so they wouldn't lose too many of them. If she didn't want to keep them as souvenirs then they could give them to some of the kids.

Yes, a bag was a good idea. Luka helped ram plushies into the bags. She had no idea what to do with them all, but that was a problem for another time.

Luka cackled a little madly as she climbed into a bumper car. Her competitive streak was coming out with a vengeance as she let her guard down. She was actually enjoying herself, which made a change from her usual trips off the ship.

Rigel was glad to see her letting her guard down and just having some fun. He was happy to bring this side out in her and hoped nothing happened to stop it.

Luka had a lot of fun on the dodgems, the message from James would probably come through just as they were grabbing a bite to eat from a nearby vendor.

Rigel looked at his tablet at the notification [found a carnival, decided to explore it.] He sent back then looked to Luka "James is checking up on us."

Luka smiled, still blushing a little. "thank you..." She picked up her bag of prizes. "Let's uh.. get back to the ship, before the others start asking awkward questions."
