Upon Celestial Tiger: Chapter One

A small, fast space yacht. The last owner named it Celestial Tiger.

Three small bedrooms (with bunks), one bathroom. Very small storage hold. combined dining/living area. Everyone's going to hate each other by the end of this road trip.

Ethan nodded. "Makes sense to me. I'll start getting the med supply boxes moved in here." He headed for the storage area.

Sawna nodded then glanced around before heading to help move the stuff and her blood supply in there.

Ethan carried a few boxes at a time, too many at once was uncomfortable. He stacked them against a wall in the small bedroom, then started opening boxes to put things on the shelves. "We're going to need to lock everything in place, or it's all going to fall," he said, frowning.

Sawna nodded as she brought in some boxes then looked around for something to hold the stuff in place with "Yeah, we may end up having to leave a lot of this in the boxes just to keep it together."

"Usually yachts have medicine racks to keep the bottles from falling," Ethan said thoughtfully. "This ship doesn't seem to have any." He paused, thinking, "Hold that thought, there's probably something in the bathroom we could use, it probably has cabinets to hold... whatever the hell it is people put in bathroom cabinets."

Sawna chuckled and nodded, watching him go to check. "Well, this isn't a real med-bay, so if there's anything it likely will be in there."

Ethan rooted through the bathroom, and found a small medicine cabinet. "Aha!" He considered the cabinet, wondering if it was worth pulling the shelves out to use. No, it'd be less useful if it was taken apart. Better to leave it whole. "Do you know how to detach this cabinet from the wall and install it somewhere else? We could ask Rigel to do it, I guess."

Sawna came over to look at how the thing was attached to see if it even could be moved. "Is it worth it to move it, or should we just put the stuff in it in here?"

"Might be best to have the medicines right near the patients, and this bathroom is a bit too small to fit an injured person," Ethan said. He smiled oddly, "I've never needed medicines myself, so I guess you'd be better to choose whether to move this thing or not. We can leave the cabinet here if you don't think it's worth moving."

"My concern is where to move it too, there's not that much space even in the room." Sawna clarified then shrugged "We should ask Rigel to move it I do not want to damage it."

Ethan nodded. "Good point. Maybe we should ask Rigel what he thinks about this. He might be able to tell is if it's worth moving."

Sawna nodded again and headed out to the main area where Rigel had been, though he was now in one of the room, unpacking.

Ethan kept poking around the bathroom, looking for useful things to move to the med bay, while he waited for Sawna to fetch Rigel.

Soon enough, Rigel and Sawna returned. Rigel looked around the room then at the shelves to see what, if anything could be done.

Ethan pressed himself back against a wall so Sawna and Rigel could fit in the little bathroom too. It was kind of a tight squeeze, and Ethan found it rather claustrophobic, oh dear. "So what do you think, is it worth moving the medicine cabinet?" He asked Rigel, gesturing to the cabinet in question.

Sawna quickly moved back into the bed room, realizing how cramped it was in the bathroom, waiting there to listen to them.

Rigel frowned and nodded "If we have the tools, it isn't that difficult to move and secure on the other wall." He nodded and went to get tools so he could move it.

"Oh good." Ethan considered, then ducked out of the bathroom as well so Rigel would have room to work. Yeah, he didn't want to get a cabinet in the face when Rigel got it off the wall.

They did have the tools Rigel would need, thank goodness.

Rigel soon found the tools and came to move the cabinet. When he was done, he looked to Ethan and Sawna to let them know

"It's safe to put medicines in, and it won't fall down unexpectedly?" Ethan asked Rigel just to be sure.

Rigel chuckled and nodded "Yeah, it's safe and secure, just don't go trying to stand on it" He winked then laughed again, heading to put the tools back up

Ethan hesitated. "Thanks," he told Rigel. He started unpacking bottles to load on the shelves, making sure they were securely fastened in place as he worked.

Rigel waved and smiled as he left the room. Sawna came back once he left to help get everything put away for the journey.

Together the two would get everything set up for when emergencies might occur.

(Do we want to timeskip? We can probably go forward to when we find the family's trail, or even skip a couple days if we want.)

TIMESKIP - A COUPLE DAYS

The crew of the Celestial Tiger managed to track the little red ship for several days, although they didn't catch up with it because it made very good time. Eventually they'd track it to near a small space station in unclaimed space, where the trail would get lost among the trails of other ships.

Luka tried in vain to get the trail again, but inevitably they'd have to ask around. Damnit.

As for room sharing, she'd spent as much time as possible in the cockpit and only slept when strictly neccisary, which meant avoiding awkward sharing a room with rigel. Ahem.
She wasn't sure why it was more awkward than any other guy, it just WAS okay?

She brought them into orbit of the station. "I can't find their trail." She admitted.

Swarm pooled together. "We should ask someone."
