Orel looked worried. "Well that sounds ominous. I guess I'd better tell my parents and pack the rest of my stuff then."

Orel hesitated, looking like he was seriously considering the idea. On one hand, he didn't want to stay in the Guild forever, and there was a gorgeous hawk girl he wanted to date. On the other hand, his parents and friends were here. "If I leave, I'm not sure how I'll ever get back," he said.

Skye nodded at that, they couldn't guarantee that he would even survive, much less that any of them would return, here or their home world. "I don't know if we will come back"

Orel chewed on his lip in thought. "No, none of your friends seem like they're in any hurry to come back here." He sighed. "I want to go with you, I really do. But now the time's here, I'm just not sure I'm ready. My parents almost lost me so recently, when I fought in the war."

Skye nodded and dipped her head then went to him to hug him close "You have until tomorrow, I will go and let you decide, one way or the other."

Orel nodded, hugging her back. "It's not an easy choice. I'll talk with my parents." He leaned in to kiss Skye briefly. "It's just so hard to imagine leaving, but I know someday I want to."

Skye walked with him and waved bye to his parents then looked to him again, leaning in to kiss his cheek before taking off.

Orel watched her leave, then went to talk to his parents. This was rough. He really didn't know what to do, and he needed their advice.
He'd do a lot of talking with them tonight. They were the only family he had.
