Matthew's Ship

Ellie kicked things and yelled. She didn't like being grabbed by strangers, especially when they were most likely aliens.

As Heny spoke a guard rolled their eyes as the 4 captives where teleported to smaller cells for their potentional masters to study them in. Gritting her teeth Heny repeated her words firmly.

Vestia would use 1812 to let Asher know that cops were currupt as she wished him the best of luck. 1812 would follow Asher ready to start some havoc.

Starr frowned and looked around the smaller room. She tested the boundaries of it with her magic, trying to see if she would be able to leave it

Ellie growled and sat up to look at her new surroundings. "What now? Are we in a ZOO?"

The android wondered whether he would be able to make any difference whatsoever, and then he wondered whether the Empire would approve of this. Then he sneaked out the airlock to try and execute his first rescue mission.

Luckily for Asher there wasn't many folk out and about there was only two guards in front of the ship, 1812 beeped softly at him ready to bust in.

Asher wandered over harmlessly, projecting the persona of 'lost and harmless android' with all the skill of a trained actor. Androids weren't a threat, they didn't have initiative, all they did was obey orders and get killed. There was absolutely no reason for the guards to be concerned by his existence, or the fact that he had moved within stun blaster range.
Then he quietly hit one guard with his blaster, allowing 1812 to tase they other into unconsciousness.

1812 obviously had to much fun doing it when he did, rapidly he sneaked onto the ship with Asher behind him his sensors searching for his master.

"Be careful and quiet," the android told the robot in his quietest tone, so low that only truly excellent ears could detect it. He tilted his head, listening for any sign of life. "The last thing we need is you goofing off right now."

Matthew's First Lieutenant came to inform the high-class group of the preparations for a preview of the new merchandise. All of them stood and straightened in unison, Matthew was dressed fancifully, decked in a uniform of the empire he served, the empire that was in need of a lesser caste. The two unnamed men fell behind him, one in a prim and proper business suit while the other was decked out in dark leather, endlessly strapped on knives and weaponry, yet could move fluidly with the weight was surprising enough.

Miss Scarlet came in last, the small red salamander, slightly smaller than a Saint Bernard, slithered along beside her faithfully, its claws tapping on the tiled floor. The dragonkin's nose twitched, with its large nostrils widening to inhale the scent of another reptile as it curiously swung its head from side to side, its yellow snake-like eyes thinning into slim pupils at the sight of Starr, curious of her existence. Matthew tilted its head and frowned at the brazen words of Heny, before muttering something to his First Lieutenant. The Captain called Scarlet over for a second, the woman eyeing down Starr in the same curiosity as her chained pet below. "Patience, my dear." Matthew's cool tongue said sagely to the Dragon Queen. "One at a time, I promise to you, Miss Scarlet, we will review the dragonkin next, but first..." He returned his attention to the Keeper, "This one... This one was one of the two that suggested high magical fluctuation." He pulled up several charts and graphs, "We have yet to pinpoint what species she is, but we're still combing through the databases."

Matthew glanced back up at Heny with a calm smile, "Or, she could be obedient and make this easy and tell us. Would you kindly, Dear?"

It was obvious he was silently rolling his eyes as he went and let Asher take the lead, like any good raider ship they had their guards patrolling the hallways just in case.

she curled her lips in annoyance, "My species is a relic, nothing more." The truth was she was scared as hell to being turn back over to the family. Her eyes scanned the room rapidly for any weakness and threats as she made a hopeful mental plan of escape as a small chain appeared in her hand... At least that what she hope would happen as long as the room didn't have a anti magic field.

Starr frowned at the interest shown by the two. She shivered a little and backed away from the front wall, not liking that they knew she was dragonkin. How could they tell? She had tried to be so careful about showing that around anyone.

The android moved with extreme caution, taking cover behind anything he could find to evade detection. The guard patrols were sensibly irregular, and he had to keep his ears tuned to detect them before they found him. He didn't even dare speak to 1812.

"YOU LEAVE HER ALONE!" Ellie yelled, seeing Starr's distress.

Asher headed in that direction.

1812 slightly picked up speed toward toe noise, only to find a lock door and lots of guards.

Wisely he hid before being spotted..

Asher shot 1812 a glare for almost betraying their presence. Hmm, he thought, Gas them, or distract them?

He cooly ignored it

It didn't look like the guards had masks, plus there was the upside of neither rescuer being effected by air pollutants. Asher pulled out the pin on a gas grenade, and listened as its invisible contents flooded the air.

"Relics? Such an interesting word..." Matthew grinned, suddenly pulling up the computer screen that was running through each species, each of them being denied and tossed out as Heny's arcana footprint failed to match. Suddenly, he narrowed down the search to more ancient beasts and beings. "The search just dropped significantly," Matthew looked back up at Heny giddily, "Care to tell me more? Help me out a bit, Sweet?" There was no anti-magic 'field' as she could summon her weapons, but the computer noted the change of magic energy in the room. Matthew laughed, "Don't try it, dear, I'd hate to have to restrain you. We're here to make your new life as comfortable as possible, see?"

The male in the business suit turned and frowned at Ellie's shouting. "What -- Matthew, is that -- a Terran?" The other two buyers turned and looked at Ellie, before bursting into carefree laughter, the male continued through tears and giggles, "Running out of good selling material, Matthew? What she going to be sold as? An outhouse janitor?"

Matthew chuckled, still reading through Heny's file and setting it up in bigger letters so it'd be easier for them to see. "Most likely, although, Doctor, I thought you enjoyed Terran assistance, for their body's adaptability for genetic change and natural adrenaline levels, since they're cheap to keep alive while you work?"

"That much is true." The business-suited man, Doctor, nodded. "They are useful for research purposes. Perhaps I'll consider it."

Nightshade was in her human form, leaning on the back wall casually as she stared aimlessly at the door in silence, drawing no attention to herself.

"You aliens and your Terra, I'll have you know that the planet's true name is EARTH, and it is the source of ALL THINGS GREAT in the UNIVERSE," Ellie shouted. "Also stop harassing the purple-haired girl!"
Despite her fury, she avoided using any description of Heny that would help them identify her. Ellie didn't want to give these monsters anything, even Heny.

"Earth? Like dirt?" Scarlet said, a sly grin cracking across her face. "It seems Terrans are even stupid enough to name their planet Dirt! I suppose it fits, though, that's all they are, dirt, among other unsavory things. All they're useful for is cleaning up fecal matter, since their so close to their precious dirt!" The men all chuckled and the salamander nodded, hissing approvingly to its master's statement.

Nightshade looked mildly irked by her words, but said nothing still. It was not worth it, to her, to get riled up by these people.

"Hush now, little Terran." Matthew turned his attention to Ellie. "It's easier to sell an obedient thrall. I hate having to break things."

"Of-of course we'd name it after the soil that brought the greatest lives of all into existence," Ellie retorted, turning red with anger and stammering slightly. "And," she added with all the defiance she could manage, "and we not th-thralls, so I won't act like one."

The four only laughed harder, giddy with their success at getting under her skin. Matthew was egged on by his comrade's chortles and turned away from Heny momentarily and walking up to Ellie's cell. "Oh? So you will not obey? Are you sure on that, Little Sweet?"

He pressed a button, it beeped, and in a few seconds two floating bots camp out, at first, they appeared as nothing except hovering metal balls, but suddenly both of them had a little door open, and from it came a robotic arm, and at the end, small bouts of electricity crackled. A tazer. "I'm giving you a final chance to be still and quiet, Terran."

Heny rolled her eyes, gritting her teeth, "Go the hell, I've seen enough cells in my lifetime and they are all the same." She gripped the silver chain tightly, still tempted to use it but suspected this room had more to it then it would appear she was obviously not going to help him with his "research" .

Ellie looked at the tasers, shuddering, skin burning with humiliation. She folded her arms, took a deep breath, and gasped out, "Never. You can't break the human mind."

"My my. We seem to have a set of talkers." The Doctor chuckled. "Perhaps I can help you quiet the pigs, just this once, Matthew?" The Captain sighed and shook his head. "Then they all need a lesson, starting with the Terran."

The two bots suddenly sprouted a pair of arms each -- they had cold, cruel grips at the end of them as Ellie's cell door opened and the two bots hovered forward...

Ellie threw herself forward, trying to get through the door as the bots floated in.
