Ellie watched Shane suspiciously. Was he trying to teach her things again? Hmm.

Luka nodded. "Alright. I don't know that many card games though." She chuckled. "I admit, I was always a bit more of a go out do sports kinda girl than a sit and play board games one."

"We can learn a bit together" Dawn said with a shrug "We can try anyway."

Luka smiled broadly. "Alright." She found somewhere to sit.

Dawn picked out a game and started to set it up on the table beside the bed, glad she had had a chair for Luka

Luka moved the other stuff off the table so they had a decent playing surface. "So what are we playing?" She asked.

Dawn looked to the box to see "Monopoly" She replied and found the rules to read it.

Luka settled down and picked a piece, a battleship because it looked cool and had little guns eee.

Dawn picked a cat to set at the start and smiled "You go first and I'll be banker" She suggested, handing out the starting money

"okay." Luka rolled the dice and looked at the board uncertainly. "What are we supposed to do?" She moved 8 spaces landing on a pale blue property.

Ethan stumbled into the med bay, supporting Tala. The gigantic minotaur was heavily favoring her right leg, and the much smaller android was bracing his weight against her pretty hard to keep her upright. It looked... hazardous.

Ellie went to talk to Shane again after checking her plants. She wanted to go bother Dawn again, but she wanted his advice on the matter first.

Dawn told Luka the rules, asking if she wanted to buy the property

Shane smiled at Ellie when she found him in a rec room. "Hey"

Ellie pranced over to Shane and gave him a graceless but enthusiastic kiss. "Hey Cutie! Whatcha up to?"

"Sure, why not?" She handed the money over after carefully counting it and studied the little blue card she got in return. "so.. you pay me if you land on it yes?"

Kay frowned as Tala and Ethan came in. [What happened!?] He gestured Ethan should guide her over to a bed so she could sit down and not crush him. Sheesh.

Ethan guided--well, more propped up--the minotaur over to the bed, not replying as he focused on not being squished.

Tala sat down heavily with a grunt. "Tell me what the medic says," she told Ethan.

Ethan snorted. "He wants to know what happened."

"I cut my leg while running," Tala said grumpily.

"And I happened to be nearby, lucky me," Ethan said.

Asher looked amused.

Shane shrugged and held up his tablet, "Just playing a game. What are you up to?"

"Yes" Dawn said with a nod then took her turn, landing and buying the first railroad.

Ellie grinned. "I kinda wanted to bother Dawn now she probably feels better."

Kay frowned [cut your leg on WHAT?]

Luka would continue to roll the dice and buy any property she landed on, considering what to actually talk about. Dawn wouldn't want to talk about Esk any more, even if Luka was crazy curious about what she saw in that guy. And she definitely didn't want to bring up the reason why she was drinking. Hmm. "So this is a terran game yes?" Terrans, they were an interesting bunch.

"I do not know! I was distracted by having fallen over!" Tala said.

"She cut her leg on the stairs. She's just embarrassed to have tripped on stairs and didn't want to admit it," Ethan said in a very dry tone. "You know, the stairs with the metal corners that some moron never covered in rubber."

Kay exhaled deeply [I'll add that to the to do list then.] He moved away to get some bandages and antiseptic.

"Traitor, you were not to tell him what happened," Tala told Ethan.

Ethan smirked.

Tala glared halfheartedly.

Ethan's eyes flashed with an almost imperceptible hint of relief as Kay didn't come over to inspect Tala's injury. He hid it well, he was getting good at this.

Asher went to check Tala's leg. She had injured her shin, so he rolled up her pant leg to look at the cut. It wasn't bleeding too much, but it looked painful and moderately deep.

Kay came over to hand Asher supplies, he barely even paid any attention to Ethan. He was a little distracted pondering who could fix the stairs. Didn't really fall under Matt's job as janitor, or the engineers. Maybe the bots could do it. That or they needed someone to work maintenance.
He looked at Tala, yeah that looked painful.

Asher smiled gratefully at Kay and got to work cleaning Tala's cut. "We could probably get James to fix the stairs," he said with a laugh.

Tala looked disapproving.

Ethan snickered.

Kay nodded. [He'll moan about it,a lot. ] And probably spend the whole day pretending like he's doing it or doing it crazy slowly out of spite. [Perhaps if we offer him the choice. Fix the stairs, or fix Tala's leg.] He smirked, James didn't like blood right?

Asher nodded in agreement. "It's always good to give people options, right?" He looked amused.

Tala still looked disapproving. "James is not your resource to use."

Asher rolled his eyes.

"You could get Shock to do it, I'm sure he wants a hobby," Ethan said lazily.

Kay shot Tala a weird look. Resource? Eugh.
[He'd get paid.] He smirked at Ethan. [Not a bad plan, he could do with being useful once in a while.]

Asher resolutely cleaned Tala's cut gently, although the remark about James being a resource annoyed him a lot. "Yes, we should propose this job opportunity to Shock," he agreed, "It's a good plan."

Tala snorted again. "It is a better plan, at least."

Shane tilted his head then shrugged "Alright, she's old enough t tell you to leave if she doesn't want to talk" He said and looked back to his tablet "Highly doubt she would talk in front of a guy though, so I can't tag along."
