Upon Vestia: Chapter Eleven

She blinked and nodded, "Yea...?"

Merith looked over at Heny, frowning slightly, and as he began to follow after her, Kay's remark caused him to halt. But then he walked again, his face like stone. He kept his thoughts to himself, and Kay would suddenly have a headache if he tried to contact Merith telepathically any more.

"I tried to before then everything went haywire" Shane said and looked to Sara again "And she ran off so the meeting disbanded."

Kay looked sympathetic. [I didn't think it possible, but Merith is even MORE irritating as a woman. ] He wrote, coming over. [Are you alright?]

"Oh, you got to experience that too," Asher said wearily. "Ugh, I was hoping he'd change back once he left." He forced himself to smile, "I'm all right. I expressed my worries that Merith might accidentally take advantage of Heny, and he responded by turning into a woman and being weirdly flirtatious, as I assume you saw. Thankfully he didn't try anything really inappropriate."

Merith morphed back to his old self and walked towards Heny, "Hey, you know I didn't mean anything by it, right?..."

Sara blushed heavily at that. "You try staying in the same room with a guy who threatened to throw you in a jar -- and did! Might I add!"

Vanessa sighed, "We could call another one..."

"I'm not a invisable thing." She said dryly, refering to him talking about her like she wasn't there.

"Yeah, and hope the trend does not continue." Shane said then sighed "I will have to talk to him about not putting people in jars"

[How bad is she? She didn't seem particularly keen to talk after Merith started being irritating, she stormed off. I suppose that's reassuring isn't it?]

"I have no idea what condition her mind is in. She recognized me, but she seemed very innocent, like everything was new to her. It was strange." Asher sighed, "I'm glad she still has opinions, at least."

Vanessa nodded, "Well, I can confirm that the tiny creature is correct. There is an asylum that exists."

Merith sighed, "We were not talking about you, Hen..."

She glared at him, " 'She just had her procesure'" she repeated what he blantly whispered to Kay before she could say a thing to him herself.

"That's one thing!" He objected, his voice rising a little, before he shook his head, "Nevermind -- I can see you want your space... As usual."

Kay shook his head. [I don't think Merith's the sort of person to take advantage of a woman right? He's many things, but he's not... that.] Kay frowned. The whole thing really made him uneasy. [I hope they gave her a say. Getting us to vote like that was awful. ] He shuddered and found a seat. [How is Shock doing?] he asked, glancing to the Avian.

"That's good at least" Shane said then looked up tot he cameras "Vestia, is it a good time to call a meeting for everyone?"

Heny held this annoyed look, and that of hurt. "And it obvious you more want to haress people instead of listen to their rightful worry..." She looked away, wondering if Asher was right about possible a break.

Merith was silent again, and like before, it was that of stone. He shook his head. It was always like this. Why did it always end up like this? He had been in the wrong, but she had acted too quickly, right? Right? He only began walking away, with a heavy heart, and quiet.

"No, I don't believe he would knowingly do such a thing. He really does care about Heny," Asher said reassuringly.
"I hope they asked her too. What they did..." he shook his head, pained, and hastily grabbed onto the subject of Shock. "He's physically recovering very quickly. He's still deep in grief though, and there's nothing we can do about that, except find him a therapist. Armin said he knows of a good one we could try, he'll be sending me their contact info."

Kay nodded, encouraged by that. [A lot of people on this ship could do with a therapist.] He remarked, then smiled softly. [I'm feeling a lot better by the way, take tomorrow off. You deserve it after all this madness. ]

she turned to look at him, "....So what, that it? Instead of attempting to talk this out your just going to leave?" She asked him bluntly, "So I can't get upset then?"

"You're always upset. And I've tried to help." Merith said, "But I guess that's impossible. If we're talking about people being upset, then how about everyone on this damned--" he stopped himself before shaking his head to prevent further damage. "Nevermind. I just need time alone, alright?"

"Probably not. Lots of people in bad moods," Vestia said, "Can it wait?"

Asher chuckled, a bit sadly. "I'd have to agree with that."
Normally he would have protested, saying he was fine for a few more days at least. Kay was still recovering! And he was a robot, and therefore didn't need rest at all. But then he thought about how much nonsense he had been dealing with lately, and decided that yeah, he needed a break soon or he would go a bit insane. "Thank you," he said gratefully, "You have no idea how happy I am to hear you suggest that."

"....People in relationships are supose to talk about their feelings...not run off and hide.." She said softly, trying to control her raging hormones, "I..I obviously upset you so it must of been what I said..." She looked away again, chewing her lips, "if...if you need alone time so be it.."

Shane flinched then sighed and nodded "Yeah, maybe let everyone know to meet at a certain time tomorrow? Maybe at 10 in the morning?"

Kay smiled. [Even the most workaholic of us needs a break sometimes, stops us losing our minds. With the chaos that goes on around here, i'm surprised we aren't both completely mental yet.] He was probably joking. [I know I couldn't do this job on my own for long without wanting to scream. You know, if I could actually scream.] He shook his head. [I'll do my very best not to get incapacitated again.]

"Sure thing," Vestia said cheerfully.

Asher nodded. "And if you need a break, even when you're perfectly healthy, please tell me. This job is brutal, and we both need to not be on duty all the time."

Kay nodded. [I will. I like being here anyway.] He looked away. [The quiet times when there's no chaos and it's just are are nice.]

Merith stopped in his tracks, before his shoulders slumped and he sighed, "God damnit, I just can't stay angry with you..." He turned around, smiling softly at her, "I'm just... Stressed, okay? It's been rough for me internally since Avia's..." He shook his head again, going silent.

Sara frowned slightly, "Well, anyway... You think I could try to talk to talk to Mourn? It's been on my mind for a while, now..."
