Upon Vestia: Chapter Ten

Matt pulled him into a tight hug. "it's okay..." He sounded more like he was trying to reassure himself.

Armin joined the hawk girls. "If I may, I believe I may be able to help here. And it looks like you may need an extra set of hands." He bowed his head.

"No, he's already on the maximum safe dosage," Asher said wearily. "He may be up all night."

"N-no I'm fine." She said, obviously there was a connection to a certain creation of her's on the subject of stubborness, yet the the reason was because she knew the minute reality fully settled in...well she didn't want to think of it.

The RPer would like to add Thaila is out cold on the couch.

The wolf growled at them both, the bars were making it angrier.

"Thank you Armin" Skye said and smiled at the spider as they headed to the galley to make the food for the babies so the adults could talk it out.

Starr sighed softly and nodded "Alright then, we can watch from the other room then, maybe that'll help him calm in this form"

"Yes, that seems like a good idea. Vestia can tell us if she senses him breaking through," Asher told Starr.

The baby in Armin arm stared at him with unblinking eyes, claws trying to softly grasp this new things limbs. All would be happy though with food, being greedy little things.

Shane frowned and tried to get the creator to go and take a seat "Vestia, can you send a bot to find Merith please?"

Starr nodded, sending the box to her shuttle and heading to the observation room

Part of her wanted to argue, the smarter part though wisely let Shane make her take a seat. She winced at each step, her bare feet having burns themselves.

Asher followed her out, watching Kay nervously. This was anything but fun.

Armin was a bit uncertain about the little bird thing, but he'd go make a lovely bug smoothie for them all though, bug smoothies he was good at.

He'd also do all he could to try to stop the little baby from touching his breathing tubes. that would be bad.

Matt frowned. "I can find Merith." He offered. "It'll be quicker than the bots."

It took a few reminders before the little one would stop grabbing at them, and they all stopped being grabby when they saw food. They opened their mouth wide like a baby bird acting like they were starving.

Skye looked to Armin and smiled "If you can handle making the smoothies, we can hold them so they don't pull something he shouldn't" She offered.

Starr went to the other room and sat to watch Kay to be sure he wouldn't escape

Matt nodded, closed his eyes, focusing on finding Merith and stepped backwards, disappearing with a ripple of arcana.

Armin nodded and gentle handed the infant over. Making another batch of smoothies because these birds seemed to be extremely greedy.
Well, at least they were small bird people.

The wolf paced the cell, trying to find a way out.

After their third serving the babies would finally shut up, their tummis full they looked content.

Skye smiled at the babies as they settled in contentedly "Should we take them to one of the rooms to sleep?" She asked softly then looked to Armin then to Moone "We could let them sleep in our room right now, until the winged lady gets better" She said, gently hugging the little ones close.

They snuggled up to the warm body masses, eyes drowsily closing as they widely yawned.

Yep, Skye wanted to keep the little babies, even if they weren't hawks. She nodded to her thoughts and smiled "Yeah, we can let them nest with us." She said softly then looked to Moone before heading for the room to get them settled in to sleep

Merith came in, storming through Vestia with alarm that her cameras would shaking a little as he ran by with such intense speed. He came upon the crew eventually. "What happened?!" He thundered.

The female creator looked up, her broken eyes looking at him as she spoke her bravery gone as her voice broke, "Avia, Avia is gone.."

Shane looked to Merith when he came bursting in then shook his head "She appeared with three babies and said the planet was destroyed by the Family"

Meroth froze, his eyes widening as he went silent. His body seemed uncertain at how to process such information. "But... Why?"

"I don't know..." She said numbly, "I, I was hoping maybe you did.." She looked at him with pleading eyes, her mind grasping for any understanding

Mourn was still reading news reports, he glanced up. "Sound like revenge. But avians no attack their base... that was slavers." He frowned, puzzled.

Armin helped the hawk girls take the little ones to their room. "So they require cots or anything?" He asked, he really had no idea the needs of bird babies like this.

The wolf would throw itself at the bars some more, and scratch at the hard floor, trying to find a way out but soon it became obvious the sedatives were taking effect. It stumbled groggily, shaking its head and growling at the fog as it paced drunkenly.

"No, most bird people make nests" Skye said, taking the babies over to the bed they had against a corner and fluffing the blankets a little more before setting them down.
Moone lay down with the babies and curled around them with her wings over them to keep them warm and let them sleep

Starr watched through the camera and sighed "Sedatives are starting to take effect. Once he's fully down we can check the bars to be sure he didn't damage them." She didn't think he had but better safe than sorry.

They would groggily coo, their little fingers feeling the wings over them it wasnt long before they were a fuzzy pile of sleep, all tangled up together happily they didnt understand what had happen.

"That seems like a good idea," Asher said to Starr. Once the wolf finally collapsed, he went over to see how the cell looked.
