(okay, in brief: The setting is thus. Vampires have just come out to the world, and a fair few of them aren't very happy about it.
There are other supernaturals about, and magic users too, they may or may not be happy about this revelation either.
Setting is London, because screw america centric rps bwhahahah.

Asher Delacroix is a vampire, he has a decent following on Youtube where he posts Vlogs about life as a member of the undead and answers people's questions about his condition. While he wasn't responsible for the outing of vampires, he was one of the earliest British vampires to come out as one publicly.

There are "Enforcers", a vampire police force who till now have been trying to keep the knowledge of the supernatural out of the public eye.

There are werewolves, there's mages/witches, there's ghosts and fae and anything else you want, go for it.)

"Yea, witches groups. Every year the covens of londons meet to establish their turf and changing of any of the leaderships, my grandma shop always been a meeting place since it the only place they can't attack each other. It like a bunch of two year olds fighting over how a cake should be cut." She sorely rubbed her forehead.

"Sounds like a great time for a bunch of asshole witch hunters to show up and cause trouble. You sure it's safe to gather everyone together?" He took out a frying pan. "Crepes okay?"

She laughed, "Actually not really... Imagine the most powerful witches in london together and then imagine a group of hunters go at it..that would hit the news and they wouldnt want that. And yea thats works."

He didn't look convinced. "I hope you're right. " He set to work making crepes, humming while he mixed ingredients.

"Trust me, neither side wants to explain how hundred year old trees suddenly appeared in the middle of the road, green fire, glitter, and a new river in the middle of london." She remarked.

Asher chuckled. "That does sound pretty impressive." He looked back at her. "So what kind of things CAN your lot do?"

"Depends on the path I take for learning." She said with a shrug, "The general path is dark and white magic, but then it divides from there. Plus there the mix witches but those are far between."

"Okay, so where do you fit into all of it?" He asked, flipping the crepe expertly.

"Family book of shadows, plus normally a witch has her own personally one." She went to her bag and pulled out two books that technically shouldnt fit in it.

"You have a tardis bag!" He declared, finding a plate for the crepe. "Not THAT is a very useful ability."

She laughed, "Yes it is, but also sucks too cause I loose alot of junk in there." She mused, "the older one is one given to me from my grandma the newer one is mine."

"And they contain magic? Spells?" He brought her the plate, it smelled good.

"Yeup." She nodded, "some magic users use runes to do combat magics, or wands. A lucky few can do it without books." She eyed it hungrily.

He also handed her a fork. "Enjoy" He smiled and went to get his own lunch. "I miss real food" he remarked ruefully. "combat magic? we talking fireballs or something?"

"Fireballs, summonings that sorta thing." She nodded her thanks before devouring the food.

"So if you can throw fireballs, how are the witch hunters a threat?" He asked curiously, downing his gross blood smoothie with just as much disgust as he had this morning. It clearly tasted as awful as it looked.

"Because they have charms and ways to keep us from doing it...plus again if done in public the drama that would cause. Also not all witches they hunt are fully trained." She admitted.

"You think there's a way to counter their charms?" He started cleaning the dishes up as they talked.

"Yea, we find a way then they find a new way...it a repeating cycle." She sighed.

"one that has to stop." He shook his head.

"Probably wont though, doesnt help with all the covens having tension between each other too."

"Sounds like the vampires. Nobody can agree on anything, and they're too busy bickering and being dicks to one another to work together on making a difference." He sighed. "But, this is the fight isn't it? This is what our ancestors went through to get their rights. "

"Yea but sadly with witches there more then just humans, we have faes, elves, dwarves...it just a major headache." She weakly chuckled.

"Iron? Fae?" He guessed. "Just when you think you have a grasp of the world. I wonder if the world can handle knowing quite how many other creatures we share this planet with."
