Space Station named Defiant

The two shuttles both grabbed the rogue shuttle in their tractor beams and together towed her back to the shuttle bay where more security officers were ready and waiting to question her.

One of the group grinned at the others and pulled out his pocket knife. "Rule number one about dealing with scrap metal, don't let them run away." He held the knife to his arm, "Hey robot! Do what we say, or I'll cut myself."

The android turned to look, and froze as the First Law took over. "Yes sir," she said nervously.

Another nodded toward the alley. "Come along then, we haven't got all day." He smirked and lead the way.

The android followed, watching them. "What are you doing?" she asked quietly. She had a good guess already though--the older androids had warned her about the sort of people who visited this station.

"Getting rid of an abomination," the slimy woman said. "Don't you dare call for help."

the larger of the males brought up the rear and blocked the exit from the alley. It was a service alley, there was no other way out unless you went through the back doors of the shops.

"Okay, no electrical weapons or it'll short out and be useless," one guy said. He pulled out a collapsible baton from his belt, and without further delay, hit the android hard on the shoulder with it, sending her stumbling so she had to catch herself on the wall. "Anyone have a metal cutter?" he asked.

"Please don't do this," she said, voice barely above a whisper.

"I got uh.. a multitool.. " One of the guys called, pulling that out along with a flick knife.

"They really are pathetic these things aren't they? Can't even defend themselves." The big guy scoffed.

The man was cold. Then again, he was always cold. Especially with this stupid flu. Now all he did was shudder all day. He sneezed loudly, and with that sneeze, he noticed something out of the corner of his eye a flash of metal, and faintly, against the bustle of the distanced crowd, a clang of metal being hit. His eyes scanned the area, and he noticed a oddly abandoned window washing station. He internally sighed, and now had a headache. Literally, there is always something people complain about. People were so entitled. He looked at the two men, staring them down as they blocked the alleyway with a knowing look, and began to walk towards them with purpose and dauntless.

"The robot doesn't deserve to have skin like an organic," the slimy woman said, pulling out her own knife, "We can fix that."

One of the guys laughed. "Man, if I was like this thing, I'd probably die of shame. It's pitiful."

"Why they need to look like organics anyway is beyond me. Carve it up good."

The guy standing in the alley noticed someone approaching and folded his arms.

The man was Terran, with tanned skin and dark brown hair and eyes, a bit of bristle along his chin, and looked to be in his early twenties. He continued to walk up to the man, and with no hesitation or warning, suddenly went for a roundhouse kick to the bouncer's chin. His nonchalant gaze suddenly turning hard and flared, ready for a fight as he let out a short shout to exert more force into the kick.

Shane looked up then around at the sound of a shout, searching for where it came from "Did you hear that?"

The guy was NOT expecting to be suddenly kicked, especially not by some puny terran. He let out a yell of surprise and stumbled sideways, drawing his gun. "Big mistake mate." He hissed.

Another turned to look at what was going on. "This is none of your concern friend, turn around, walk away. We'll pretend you didn't just assault our crewmate."

Matt frowned. "Sounds like a fight. We should uh.. probably NOT go that way."

Asher frowned. "We'd should see what's going on, that guard over there looks awfully uninterested." He headed toward the sound, ready to draw his gun.

Shane shook his head and followed Asher too. He didn't like the way this was looking. On the way he turned his tablet on to record this surreptitiously.

The guard really didn't look much like he cared, though he did glance up as someone attacked one of the bounty hunters. Hmm, this should be mildly entertaining to watch.

Matt started to protest but Asher was already off. Damnit. He hurried after him "Oh come on, it's probably just some thugs attacking some other thugs, this place is crazy. "

The Terran paused, sighed, and suddenly started digging into his pockets. He pulled out an omnicom as his eyes searched over the two men. He dialed a number and held up to his ear like a cell phone.

"Yes, Emergency services?" He talked into the phone, looking bored, and began to count each of the assaulters, "We're going to need one... two... three... four... five... six EMS cars out here. You'l find us, I'm sure." He shut off the call. "Now, where were we?"

Shane was certain to get the guard's uninterested look then panned over to the alley as the sick guy apparently made a call.

The slimy woman was trying to remove the android's skin, with moderate success, while the other guy continued to try and break the android with his baton.

Asher rounded the corner and saw what was happening, and froze.

"hey now, that's not on man. We paid fair and square." one of the guys protested.

The big guy raised his gun and tried to wrestle the com out of the terran's hands. "Who you think you are mate? Some sort of freelance security? Real security's right over there, go sob to them if you don't like it. Get the fuck outta here."

Matt had the best view of all, as he stood taller than everyone else.
Wait, they were.. .attacking some woman?

"HEY!" He yelled. "Leave her alone!"

Shane growled a little when he caught a glimpse of what was going on "Now that is just wrong for six to attack a woman like that. That's asking to be hurt." He said, moving closer to the alley himself.

The Terran had instant reflexes, as if he had been honed in dodging for a long time. He instantly sidestepped the man who grabbed for his phone, and swept a leg out beneath him. "You paid that f*** boy off, didn't you?"

For a moment, Asher couldn't think. This was way too familiar, the crowd, the violence, the lone android completely unable to fight back. Then he forced himself to recover. "Okay, we need to stop this," he said coldly. "One of us needs to hold the android back, the others can handle the fight."

"I am fighting" Shane said and glanced to Asher "Whoever holds her back needs to get her out of here fast as possible."

"What's it to you?" The big guy demanded as he fell hard on one knee, letting out a gasp of pain.

"We got more company guys." The other one called, pulling out his own gun.

The security guard decided now was a good time to slink away into the shadows and disappeared.

"Hold her back? She's hardly able to defend herself as it stands!" Matt protested. "Get her outta here." He raised a hand. "Hey, why don't you pick on someone who can actually fight back! Or is a challenge too much for you assholes?"

"I'll protect the android while you guys fight," Asher said, "Believe me, she's going to need to be held back, and I might be the only one strong enough to do it."

The man then yanked back his elbow to land a blow on the back of the head of the man who had fallen on his knee. "Well, no one has any business paying that man off. I assure you, I'll be talking to someone about it, too."

"Good" Shane said and nodded, moving to the group then grinning and going up to punch the one closest to him "Only a coward would attack those unable to defend themselves."
