Upon Vestia: Chapter Three

Ellie raised her hand. "My com says 5:42pm."

The android watched Matt calmly, expression mildly interested. "What are you doing, Matt?" he asked.

Vanessa chuckled and pulled away, staring at the younger Entropium in a slightly interested expression. "Do you want to see what kind of power you can achieve, Little One? The magic potential you can attain? Certainly Merith has told you how our kind once rivaled the keepers in ability as well? There was only one magic that they possessed that we could not, but the Elders have been getting closer and closer to achieving it..."

Quinn said nothing, merely staring at Vanessa suspiciously. So, the older anamcara continued. "Here, I can show you..." She pulled out a small box. It was made of clear glass, but the several runes etched across its surface distorted the lightly glowing crystal inside. Vanessa smiled, "Every mana can be pressed into a physical and charged form. You know this. This... This is from Keeper magic. Olden Keeper magic. Call it a gift." She handed the box to Quinn, folding it in her hands and smiling sweetly. "Take good care of it, now..."

Matt looked at Asher, startled. "nothing, I wasn't doing anything." He spoke quickly.

Kay wrote something on the omnicom and handed it to Asher.

He has a problem with impulse control, a little like your rogue robot. Perhaps that's a good use for the taser?

Causally 1812 entered the room, and eyed the two new comers curiously.

Kay looked down at the little robot and took a few steps away while trying to look as non threatening as possible. Honestly he really would rather NOT get tased today.

He waved warily.

Matt on the other hand, clearly hadn't really paid enough attention to the list and grinned down at the little guy. "Hey there."

Asher looked at Kay's note, and sighed, then looked at Matt. "I'm sure you've heard this before, but please return anything you take at the soonest opportunity." He noticed 1812 coming in, "This is 1812, by the way. 1812, please behave."

"Yes boss." Matt replied cheerfully.

Kay rolled his eyes and wrote. "I will personally replace anything he takes, he's my responsibility."

1812 made this beeping noise in annoyance at asher comment.

Starr smiled at them, leaving when it was clear she wasn't needed anymore. She headed for her shuttle to work on the pendants she had promised the others.

Asher smiled. "As long as we have all the supplies we need during medical emergencies, I won't worry about it then. And neither will 1812." He gave 1812 a piercing look.

He beeped and if he had rollable eyes he would do it.

Morning came painfully too soon for Heny as her body reminded her the down fall of binge drinking as the keepers' morning snuggles was cut short as she bolted to the bathroom.

Merith was bounced awake at Heny's flying figure as she zipped to the toilet to cleanse her stomach. He chuckled a bit but winced in sympathy, smiling softly as her sat up a bit, resting his back on the headboard as he recalled last night, a sly and stupid grin slowly creeping across his face as he casually relaxed in the bed, waiting for Heny to come out with the mischievous glimmer in his eye.

It took her a few minutes to return back holding this sour look on her face as she crawled back beneath the warm covered. "Oh...crap I forgot to do laundry." She said with a slight facepalm, she did not want to have to explain why she was rewearing what she wore yesterday.

Merith laughed, getting up and putting a fresh shirt on while tossing a pair of baggy sweat pants and a t-shirt in the woman's direction. Once he was clothed he went to go pull off the covers over Vestia's cameras, winking deviously at them. "Morning Vestia." He said, still holding a dopey grin on his face.

She quickly put them off before the cameras where uncovered. "Your gonna be wearing that grin all day aren't you?" Heny retorted.

Vestia admittedly was relieved the camera was covered "Pleasurable night...?" She asked warily, not realizing how well Merith could run with that as Heny face palmed.

"Possibly." He replied to Heny, grinning. He returned his attention to the ship, chuckling as he watched the camera lens focus and unfocus to fit the proper view, "Hen certainly seems to think so..." He said deviously, looking back at the woman with the face of a sprite.

Merith got a pillow tossed in his face for that as she took the other one and buried her face into the other one, "Really?!" She openly squeaked as her face turn bright red.

Asher left his room in a good mood, fully recharged and feeling happy that there was another medic on the ship now. "Anything interesting I should know about, Vestia?" he asked, blissfully unaware of Merith and Heny's activity.

"uhhh.." She said awkwardly, "Uhm...maybe..? Can you help 1812 clean up one of Heny's messes..?"

Asher shot a glance at the nearest camera. "Your tone is disconcerting. Where is it?"

"It one on her favorite rec rooms... Sadly the mess isn't what im worried about." She remarked dryly.

Starr came out and looked around. (During the timeskip) She had made the pendants and rested, stopping by to give Shane his then going looking for the other magic users besides the fox, since she didn't know how it would affect her.

The android skillfully imitated a deep breath. "All right, I'll deal with it," he said, heading for the rec room.

He would find the daggers and beer bottles on the tables, right out of 1812 reach.

Asher looked at the daggers, not at all enjoying the fact that they were sharp and also Heny's. Then he looked at the beer bottles, and decided that they looked especially dangerous when paired with the daggers. "Perhaps you should tell me what happened, Vestia."

While Kay was fairly content to sit and muck about with the omnicom and attempt to sift through the medical records and any other information he could find in the medical bay, Matt was bored out of his skull by all this work nonsense and wandered off to see what there was to see of this honestly pretty astounding ship.
