Pandoran Empty Pandoran

Pandorans look human and in many ways are very similar. Their age span is only sleightly greater, averaging out at 130. The oldest Pandoran was said to be 250, though some think that was myth.
Pandorans mature a little slower than humans as well, the 'teen' years are between 16 and 25, they are considered adults at 25.

Pandorans live in family groups, including elders of their parents. There can be as many as five generations in one family group at any given time. Some families are so large that an entire village can have just the one family group.
They typically will all live on one plot of land with adults having their own separate living space until they marry.
Typically a male will leave home to live with his wife's family. The exception being if his parents come with him (as in an only child to support them)

Elders are respected and live near their grown children.

Pandorans typically have three to four children in their lifetime. Any age from 20 to 100 can bear a child, though their fertile cycles depend on the availability of a male they care for. (Another words, if they don't like any males around them, they can not get pregnant.)

Mating outside the species is highly frowned upon though there are some mixed species children. Typically, such are overlooked by their peers and do not have further children.

The way they differ most from humans is that all have a tie to magic of one kind or another. It manifests as an elemental magic and each has only one to draw on, usually able to make and control the element by the age of 20 if they practice and are schooled.

Their magic is limited in some ways, the opposites both hurt each other and cancel each other out.

The elements are Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Light, and Dark. Opposites are Earth and Air, Fire and Water, Light and dark.

They can mate with humans or humanoids, but the offspring will not have the full use of magic if any at all. The offspring might have an affinity for the parent's element, but they would be unable to control it. (As in, they might be able to do small 'party tricks' like bending a flame or a spout of water, but they can't create or make more of their element.)
