Skye nodded and smiled a little "It's a little scary though, when you only see your own kind then see a city with the others."

"I'm sure you would be a beautiful dragon." Starr said with a smile.

Rigel smiled at Lula then glanced around the room. "Want to try sneaking out of here?"

Ellie giggled. She loved the idea of secretly being a dragon, it was cooler than being a plant mage. "Maybe someday when I'm older," she joked.

Kay shook his head, looking a little sheepish. [I think I already did everything about three times already.] Yeah he fret worked okay?

Luka giggled. "Are you sure that won't make people gossip?" She asked in a conspiratorial whisper.

Asher couldn't help but find that a bit funny, Kay's work ethic was equal parts endearing and worrying to him. He tried to hide his amusement, but wasn't entirely successful. "I guess work is out of the question then. So any votes on what we should do?"

Kay shrugged. Oh he had ideas, a sly smirk crossing his face. [well you ARE back to your old self again...]

Asher smiled. "Well yes, I suppose I am," he agreed. "Which means there are lots of possibilities. I assume you aren't thinking of running laps around the ship, are you?" Although that would be pretty funny if he was, to be fair.

Kay looked amused. [When have I ever run laps?] It was funny though.

"Come to think of it, most of the time I don't run laps either. Guess we'll have to think of something else then," Asher said, amused at the idea of them running around the ship. It really wasn't either of their style. "Darn."

Kay smirked, eyes twinkling with amusement as he reached up and pulled Asher into a kiss. Silly silly man, but of course, it was Asher's ridiculous charisma that had Kay fall for him in the first place wasn't it?

Asher personally believed that jokes about running laps were the best way to set the mood, and nobody would ever change his mind on that. Ha.
He smiled affectionately at Kay, and kissed him back. All those worries about tomorrow might still be waiting, but for now, it would be nice to think about something else. At least for a while.

Rigel shrugged a little "We could leave at different times."

Starr chuckled too, she knew Ellie wasn't a dragon, though the girl did love them a lot.

Yeah, any telepathic read by a star dragon could tell that Ellie didn't have a drop of dragon blood in her, but she liked to pretend. "Do we wanna do another song?" she asked the group.

Luka smiled at Rigel. "Alright." She wasn't hard to convince.

(Somewhere in the distance, a small planet blows up)
Some time later, Asher cuddled with Kay, thinking to himself that his creators had done an good job repairing him. Maybe he should leave them a three star review sometime on their website.
Or you know, maybe not. But the thought amused him.

"Yay," Ellie said. "More music!"

James offered some pop music recommendations, he did love pop music. It was probably mostly stuff Matt knew pretty well.

Kay snuggled into Asher, thankful for the distraction and yeah, a little bit selfishly relieved that Asher was back to his old functional self. Ahem.
He wasn't gonna say that though.

Matt nodded and would play any songs he knew that were requested. He knew quite a number of old and modern terran hits, as well as a great number of Imperium songs which surprisingly, weren't all about battle, warfare and glory. A fair few were soppy love songs too. Hah.
Clearly he hadn't had much else to do for a long time beyond get in trouble and learn songs.

Starr would sing along to the songs she knew, but left them the stage when she didn't know the song. She was enjoying the party.

Some of the other dragons would take turns singing or playing other instruments along with Matt.

Rigel nodded and smiled again. "You want to go first or should I?"

Luka glanced over at the stage, it was a good diversion. "Maybe you go first, i'll claim i'm tired and go. Meet back at the devil?"

Asher smiled softly at Kay. "It's good to be able to do this again," he said. It was kinda strange to say it and mean it, but it was true.

Ellie grinned. "I didn't expect the dragons to play too. This is awesome."

James didn't know the imperium songs, but he sang along once he figured out the lyrics. He was totally interested in satare culture, after all.

Tala wandered over and danced to some of the faster songs. She was a pretty good dancer, although her hooves were kinda loud.

Kay looked amused and tried to look serious, reaching for his tablet which he'd left on the bedside table. [thank you.] He wrote, which seemed a weird thing to write but Asher probably understood. After all, it wasn't like Asher got any real enjoyment out of the physical act, he did it for emotional reasons instead.

Matt took the vocals on songs not in terran mostly, he had a pretty remarkable knack for languages, speaking at least 3 with a degree of fluency and several others he knew bits and pieces of or had just learned songs from. He cheered when others joined to play instruments. "We totally need to start a band" he told James as he launched into a rousing rendition of 99 red balloons.

Luka watched as they played a few songs she actually recognized. She found it odd to see Matt actually singing in his native tongue, she often forgot he was half Satare.

Rigel nodded and smiled. "Sounds good to me." He said and looked to the stage as they played,

"I told you they enjoy parties." Starr said with a smile.

Asher smiled, yeah, he knew what Kay meant. "Any time," he said, then paused, rethinking that. "Well, within reason of course," he amended, amused.

"Heck, we could have an orchestra if we wanted to," James told Matt. "There's so much talent on this ship, man!"

Luka moved away from Rigel so he could make his move and leave, watching the performance with genuine interest, even if she was slightly distracted.

Kay laughed his silent laugh, his shoulders shaking. He shook his head and kissed Asher's cheek. Ridiculous man.

"right? makes you wonder who else is hiding some secret amazing talent"

Asher was glad Kay appreciated his slightly dumb sense of humor. It felt nice to laugh with someone you loved.
He grinned goofily, it just was so nice to have a lighter mood after all the stress lately.

"We should have a talent show, see if we can get new talented people for our plans," James said. "Auditions!" Maybe that'd be tough though, everyone who wasn't here seemed to be kinda shy.

"Bribe them with a seriously excellent prize?" Matt suggested with a grin.

Kay rested his head on Asher's shoulder, smiling. This was nice.

Rigel would stick around for a few minutes before making his move to leave quietly.

Starr chuckled and shook her head. "Why audition? Just have the talent show as they want to show themselves."

(Sorry about the slow replies, I've been pretty busy with stuff today, so I'm slower than usual)

"I mean the talent show would be our way to scope out talent for bands and stuff," James said brightly. "Anyone can join the talent show." He nodded, "Yes, bribing with cool prizes is a great way to get people interested!"
He didn't notice Rigel sneaking out, the conversation was too distracting.

Tala was taking a break from dancing and eating more snacks.

Luka grabbed a few more snacks, glancing at the door. She wasn't very good at being subtle. oops?
