Webster Ackerman (Web) - Ishvara of the Kevali people. Prophet and vessel of Fate. Matt's identical twin. Esk and Kay's foster brother. Fire elemental.

Kaliyani Vivek - (Kali Ani Viv Ek) Kalvair/Kevali crossbreed. Chief scribe and primary confidant of Ishvara Webster.

Jarral Dekar (Ha Raal De Kar)- (about 18 ) - Kevali. Omni-linguist. Web's son and heir. Exposition guy. Shadow Emisary.

The Elders -

Akantarak - Lunar goddess, calm and kind, protector and guardian.
Suravi - Sun god, insane, destroyer.
Naral - god of the people.
Ada - goddess of the people. - Two bodies, a mind as one.
Ania - Air goddess. Moody, temperamental, prone to tantrums.
Saras - Water goddess. Don't piss her off. Usually sides with Akantarak.
Shu - Fire god. Sniveling coward. Always sides with Suravi.
Ilar - Earth god. Stoic, pragmatic, usually the peacemaker.

And Fate - "goddess" who uses a mortal vessel to convey her will.
