*Note: The alias Anamcara is derived from the Terran Celtic phrase, Anam cara, a word describing a spiritual belief of souls connecting and bonding.
**Upon a rare chance to speak to an elder Animus iunctum, the being referred to his kind as this. When inquired, he simply shrugged and wrote out the greek letter omega (Ω). No other references to this name have been documented.

General Description:

Animus iunctum has no defining physical trait save for one, which is very rarely shown. This form is called simplí, as it's rather unimpressive despite the creatures mass power. Their chance of "birth" is unique, as the species is born when two or more souls of other species are bound into one. The circumstances for this are unknown as of now, and anamcara have not been purposefully created as to date. They're known to read magical aura and replicate magical energy and spells and abilities by simply observing their point of interest and reading the arcana footprint. The more powerful Anamcara are shown to have mastered several types of defining and even contradictory magic with ease. It is unknown the lifespan of these creatures, however one can easily "destroy" these creatures through a means that is easy to come by this day and age, as anti-magic fields can easily pull their bonding apart and "kill" the anamcara. The word "kill" is used lightly, as their arcana footprint is more visibly dispersed into the space time continuum than disappear upon mortality. Some even claim that their species is reborn or reincarnated somewhere else, though the evidence for this is lacking. Though their individual personality varies widely, most of them contain a level sense of their surroundings and current event that takes place around them, highly valuing magic to a point of revere or even greed, and their custom among age seems to be an hierarchy, the younger often submitting to the older, excluding the off chance the younger is superior in magic prowess. Sometimes pairs of apprentice and teacher have been viewed, but rarely have there been mates. There has not been any documented evidence found on inter-species relations among the anamcara.

Place of Origin:
It is unknown if the anamcara has any specific place of origin, as old report of their birth have happened on many different places across the galaxy. Quite simply, their origin is non-existent, and their creation are usually by chance under circumstance.

General Description:
The Corrupted Blood are the fallen aspects of the Anamcara, the disgrace of the kin that is oftentimes frowned upon as a topic of interest. Maddened and insane from their greed that had devoured their very being, they are mindless, either following the orders of their charge like blind henchmen, or else wandering the cosmos to create terror and destruction across the galaxy, forever searching for more souls, mana and power to sate their endless hunger, to no avail. They consume magicka with no control, unlike the other side of the coin from their uncorrupted brethren, who know how to discreetly feed off of it without being consume by their own want to devour the mana. Where the anamcara control matter and anti-matter, the Corrupted Blood control the void, the emptiness that surrounds the anti-matter across the universe, twisting it to destroy the creations of the universe until there is nothing left...

It is possible to kill the Corrupted Blood, just as it is to kill the Anamcara, though from their unpredictable and vicious behavior, they pose a dangerous enemy. Their corruption ran so deep, even their simplí form had been transformed into the corrupta form, shadowy creatures of bone and tentacle, horrendous monsters that release an aura that can physically sicken the Anamcara and anything else sensitive to mana pressure and changes... Because of their mindlessness and power, they become a highly desired guardian among some of the Family, becoming the perfect underling for their agendas.


Place of Origin:
Unlike most species, the Corrupted Blood were not birthed from parents, nor created from the binding of souls like their siblings. The Corrupted Blood is the darker aspects of the Anamcara, twisted and defiled by their own greed for power that they were transformed into creatures of distilled evil and corrupted mana. They are born from the Anamcara who had fallen from grace either from soul-eating or dark mana infusion. It is much like a disease that transforms the Anamcara from one being to another, and at times can even be considered infectious.
