One week. Asher has to be mean, Kay has to be nice. Whoever gives up first has to write a story for the winner. Should be... interesting.

Dawn blinked and looked to them again "Sorry, I was just wondering if it would have been different if mother had lived." She said softly then looked to Rigel and shrugged "If he wants to dance."

Matt smiled softly. "I know the feeling. My parents died when I was six. " he patted her on the shoulder. "Kay's never even met his dad."

Kay shrugged. [I'm not entirely sure I want to.]

"yeah, after this long... " Matt sighed. "Still. Didn't the mirror universe already show us that sometimes, sometimes this are better the way they are. Even if it sucks and is sad, you change one thing and well... yeah... it all goes to hell."

Kay lowered his head, looking uncomfortable.

Dawn sighed and nodded "I know" She said then shrugged a little

"come on Rigel, let's dance!" Matt straightened up and extended a hand to Rigel.

Rigel chuckled and stood, shaking his head "Alright, but this will be awkward" He said and held a hand out "Anyone got any music?"

"Uhhh, let me see," James started prodding busily at the remote.

Matt grinned and took Rigel's hand.

"Take it away maestro!"

Kay shook his head, this was ridiculous.

James pressed a button and a crashing metal beat filled the room. James winced and turned down the volume. "Probably not what you have in mind. What do you guys want?"

"Arhg! ears!" Matt laughed and rubbed his ringing ears. "Uh... What dances can you do?" he asked rigel.

Kay winced at the sudden loud music. Wth?

Ethan groaned and shook his head. "Ow."

"Sorry! Didn't realize the sound was up so high!" James said apologetically.

Asher facepalmed.

"I only know traditional dances from my homeworld. " Rigel said, rubbing his ears.

James waved the remote randomly. "What sort of music do you need?" He asked, "Since you're so against waltzes."

Rigel shrugged and came over to look at the choices on the tablet to see if there was anything close to a waltz on it.

"Wait, you do want a waltz?" James asked.

Ethan sighed. "Why exactly am I still here?"

"Because you want to see Matt and Rigel dance together," James informed him, "Why would you not stay?"

Rigel shook his head "no, but that is likely the closest you have." He said then shrugged "our music is not spread off planet."

"We'll need to pirate your planet's music sometime then," James said cheerfully. He let Rigel select a pleasant waltz, and set it to play. "All right guys, have fun!"

Rigel shrugged and went back to Matt to dance

Matt grinned and would try really hard to lead, but dancing with someone else who was used to leading wasn't the easiest thing to do.

Kay shook his head, looking bemused.

"You're both beautiful!" James called to them, "Like swans on the water or something!"

Rigel chuckled at that and tried to relax and let Matt lead, but it wasn't the easiest thing.

Dawn was laughing at them both as they danced, though she was trying not to be loud

Matt grinned and chuckled, trying to lead Rigel into a slow and awkward spin. "Swans? those things with the really long necks?"

"Yeah, the birds with the fancy curvy necks. They're supposed to be graceful, okay?" James said, snickering. "Neither of you have fancy curvy necks, sorry. Hope you're not heartbroken."

Rigel chuckled and shook his head "Like I said, this is awkward" He said, going with it until the music ended. He laughed again and turned to Dawn to get her to stand with him. "Now, if you will play another one, I will show you how we dance."

"I'm devastated James." Matt laughed and nodded to Rigel. "let's see some fancy pandoran dance moves!"

James smacked the remote a few times, and another pleasant waltz started. "Aww yeah, we wanna see how Pandorans dance!"

Rigel and Dawn would dance together to the music. The Pandorans used their magic while they danced, the biggest difference between their dancing and other species.

Matt applauded.

Kay smiled softly.
