[I can't say i've ever seen him drunk actually. I haven't seen him in nearly ten years.] Hmm that'd be interesting. [He got tall.] He smiled oddly, trying to make light of what was clearly pretty awkward and difficult.

Esk looked at the time. "er... morning." (I dunno what bloody time it is lol) "I'll make breakfast." He went for the door. "Want anything else before I go?"

Esk nodded and left the room, going to the kitchen to scrape together something edible from their supplies.
He COULD cook, he just wasn't an overly adventurous cook. Or overly creative.

Eks brought back whatever he'd scraped together. Oh it'd be edible, just likely not overly delicious. "here." he handed Dawn a bowl and sat down with his own to eat.

Dawn looked to him as he came in, sitting up so she would be able to eat. She used the wall behind her to hold herself up so she wouldn't put too much pressure on the wounds.

Esk tossed a pillow toward her. "Ram that behind you, it'll be more comfortable." He told her.

Dawn caught the pillow, using her air to put it in place without having to twist around then she settled back against it and sighed "Yeah, more comfortable." She agreed then reached for the bowl to start eating.

Dawn did too, then when she finished and set the bowl aside she looked to Esk "Is it time for pain meds now?" She asked softly.

"I dunno, you need some?" She wouldn't ask if she didn't right? He licked his bowl clean and got up to go find where the pain meds were kept. "Must be weird to be the patient for once."

Dawn gave a small smile at that and nodded "Yeah, it is odd to be the patient." She agreed "They should be in that drawer right there."

Esk nodded and found the painkillers, he picked up the water glass and brought that over too.
"it's pretty weird to be the medic too." He handed her the pills and water.

Dawn smiled and took the items then took the pills with a drink of water. "Want to watch a movie or something until I fall asleep again?"

Dawn gave him a half smile then pointed to the desk "there should be a tablet in the center drawer that has a projector on it."

Esk went searching for the tablet and projector. "You're way too organised." he told Dawn, digging the tablet out and bringing it over.

Dawn couldn't help but give a short laugh at that statement, it was true. "It's good to be organized for work" She said, hand over the wound again. "My bedroom on Vestia is a mess though."

Esk picked a movie at random, grateful for the distraction of loud explosions and stupid shit. He set up the tablet so that it projected onto a nearby wall, pulled his chair close to Dawn's bed and sat down. "We should have popcorn, but this ship has shit supplies. "

"yeah. Being back here just brings home how cramped this ship IS. I dunno how we didn't all just kill each other here, there's no privacy at all." he'd grown to rather LIKE privacy actually. "and i'm pretty sure I ran out of candy." Damn, he should have packed more.
