The swarm managed a weird sort of shrug to James. --Slow process. First we were alone without the others, severed from the great hive. Then we got lonely, started talking to ourselves. Then started arguing. Came to realize we were no longer one. Don't mind it, we are never alone now.--

"True." James grinned. He had come to accept that he was never going to fit in as a good little robot, and it was nice that Swarm was similarly okay to be different.

Tala's stomach rumbled. "I must eat," she said, with no regard for the conversation at hand.

Swarm pondered that. --We found several vegetarian restaurants and one buffet that catered to all needs but none that were just salad. The pizza place had a salad bar.-- they focused --we can send our other selves to investigate.--

Swarm bobbed up and down in a nod as they concentrated on trying to contact their other half back on the station. Their link allowed for telepathic communication over distance, but not much more till they reintegrated.

Swarm followed the others, pausing for a moment to declare "We found a salad bar!"

The swarm headed for the shuttle and settled themselves in.

James dropped himself into one of the seats, while Tala grabbed a handrail and stayed standing.
