"So do you believe me now drakan?" She asked Matthew calmly, her arms crossing.

He looked grim-faced, but nodded slowly. "... I suppose so. What comes of this?"

"Well, training number one. But you have to meet the high council first." She stated with a shrug, "It your choice, same with the hybrid if they take this offer or not."

Matthew opened his mouth to decline, but immediately Gnu read the situation and jumped in, "Matthew, I believe this opportunity should not go wasted. It may very well help in your endeavors of bringing the Family to its knees..."

"Hmm..." Matthew pondered some more.

The mage face darken at the reference of thaat cult name, her slender hands balled tightly as angry flashed across her face briefly. "Take it or leave it." She remarked.

"... Very well, I will accept the offer." Matthew then noticed the look, and his face actually softened sympathetically. "Their work has affected your kind as well, has it...?"

"...we are fewer in numbers because of them yes." Her voice seemed harden and forcd control as she spoke, "Few travel the galaxy now because of them."

Matthew nodded solemnly. "I am... ashamed to say I was once allied to them. I can only do what I can now to atone for what I've done, and that's hunt them down myself. Judas is now trying to find a way to replicate their sole weakness." He nodded to his brother, looking grim.

"Unless you have a dagger I do not see it happening..anyway," she said changing subjects, "Where is this hybrid? I need to confirm the scanners readings."

Matthew smiled softly at the mention of a dagger, "Oh, I know." He said softly, before motioning with his head towards the ship, "She's on board, in the kitchens most likely, with Claudia."

"May I have permission to board?" She asked him with a deep sigh.

Lai would be in fact baking, ignoring Claudia she hadn't said a word since Avia destruction. The truth was unless she was more or less force to sleep she didn't either, and when she did it was riddle with nightmares. The kitchen itself was filled with enough sweets to easily feed the crew, something of which Lai did often to clear space out.

Matthew nodded, beginning to lead Performer aboard and to the kitchen areas. ((To DEH SHIP!))

Scott was reading a newspaper behind his desk, when the door was pushed hastily open, and an average-looking man with an "Android" badge trotted in. His movements were a bit off, his gait was too cautious and his face looked a bit stiff, but he was definitely concerned about something, and he went straight over to the desk to stand across from the blond Terran.

Scott looked up at the android and raised an eyebrow. "What is it, Daniel? You don't usually rush about like this."

"Sir," Daniel said, and Scott noted with some concern that the android's pleasant monotone had shifted into slightly into a higher pitch which indicated that he was definitely uneasy about something, "You recall Seven series James?"

Scott let out a soft huff at the mention of that name. "Oh gods, how could I not? That Avian isn't back to ask for a refund, is he?"

"No sir, I think you're safe in that regard," Daniel said, and his face flicked briefly to the expression that indicated amusement, "But his brother, Asher? The ship he arrived in is here again."

Scott frowned. "Now that's interesting. His friend thought up some good excuses, and he was a decent actor, but he was just as neurotic as the other Sevens, no doubt about it." He glanced over at the back of his shop where the androids liked to spend time, and caught the eye of one of the female androids, "Present company excluded, of course."

She gave an exaggerated eye roll. "Of course, of course. No offense taken."

Scott smiled at her, then looked at Daniel again, "What do you think, will he come visit us? Or will we have to go investigate?"

"I don't think it would be wise to investigate, Sir," Daniel pointed out. "That crew seemed strange."

Scott smirked. "Oh come on, Asher's a First Law abiding android, isn't he? What would we have to fear?" Yeah, he had his doubts.

Daniel's face twitched as an emotion he hadn't been programmed to express ran through his mind. "Indeed, Sir. Still, I suggest we wait. It might give a poor impression of us if we go to them first, presuming to go and visit someone's android is a bit presumptuous, I must say."

Scott nodded. "Fair enough. We'll wait a while and see if they visit us, and if they don't, we'll visit them." He looked up at Daniel with a smile that was almost sad, "Your advice has always been good."

"I'm glad I've been of service," Daniel said formally, but he caught Scott's expression, and his own face switched to a poorly imitated look of Terran sorrow in response.

Scott looked at Daniel a bit longer, wearily, then finally shook his head and returned his attention to his newspaper. "If James comes in here, I want you to keep him off my desk. He sent me a letter saying he's traveling with Asher now, so where one weird android is, the other probably will be. I swear he almost broke the desk last time, and I can not afford a replacement right now."

"Yes Sir." Daniel said gravely. He went to join the other androids. Whatever his emotions were about the return of the android brothers, they weren't ones his face could reflect.

(From Vestia) Hewitt chuckled. "Not at all." Yes, good fun.

Ethan followed Hewitt down the ramp and looked around at the spaceport. "Right, so where do we start?" He asked.

Hewitt paused, looking thoughtful, Now usually he had a guide when he'd decided to leave the cruise ship and go on wanders. Hmm. He pointed his cane. "this way." He instructed, heading toward what looked like the town itself.

Ethan followed, looking around as they entered the actual city. Everything was brightly painted and clean, and pretty, sporty cars cruised down the streets. Tourists wandered from shop to shop, buying trinkets and sunglasses. It was all rather like a post card.

"Do you think there are actually locals here, or is it just seasonal employees and tourists?" Ethan snorted.

"oh undoubtedly some fools make their homes here, and spend most of their time complaining about the very tourists who earn them their income." Hewitt chuckled.

Ethan looked amused. "True. Although probably they only visit in the summer, too, so they're as bad as the tourists." He eyed a happy family suspiciously. "Where do these people get the money to travel so much, anyway? They don't look that rich."

Hewitt shrugged. "No idea. I don't tend to pay that much attention to the financial status of meat beings." He kept walking, looking around critically.

"Maybe they're criminals," Ethan said. "Where I come from, people who are rich, look rich." He spotted a building, "Oh look, a bar. Useless to both of us."

Hewitt smirked. "and yet you notice it."

"If you live around meat creatures for years, you can't help but notice bars," Ethan said. "They practically worship them."

"Hey! Meat creatures is a derogatory term!" Some teen guy called.

Hewitt eyed the teenager with delight, his grip on his cane tightening. "Are you trying to tell my android what he can and cannot say?" His expression darkened. "only I get to tell my android what to do." Oh dear, he might be enjoying this a little too much.

Ethan gave Hewitt an odd look. Okay... That was a little weird. But then, what else would you expect from an old man? He put Hewitt between himself and the kid, and watched.

"Public decency!" The teen said. "Your robot, and you, shouldn't be insulting us, we're the majority here!"

Hewitt laughed. "Oh I think the mammal wants a fight." He stared the kid down, rising up to his really not very impressive full height. He was pretty dang tiny, even with his tendrils fully extended. "Is it worth getting hurt over? I'm told this stick is... quite solid, your skull however, it seems is quite the opposite."

The kid stared. He hadn't expected threats, omg. "Your robot won't let you hurt me," he pointed out. "Three Laws, right?"
