Deeply Acus sighed as he paused and turned around, arms crossed. "Yes?"

(While Kooshie enjoys airline hospitality and laments a lack of leg room... a cliffhanger!)

Kay averted his gaze, yeah, thinking about that particular tragedy was still painful.

Swarm scattered immediately as someone else walked into the room.

Kay looked up and froze.

(Shortest cliffhanger ever! Thanks airplane maintenance lol)

"Oh hey Esk! Meet my brother and his coworker!" James said, not noticing Kay's reaction.

Asher looked at Kay worriedly. He looked like he'd seen a ghost.

Esk's eyes narrowed and he pulled his gun, pointing it directly at Kay.

"Why are YOU here?" He demanded.

Kay raised both hands defensively.

"DON'T YOU DARE get into my head." Esk snapped.

Kay flinched and very cautiously reached for his tablet. Esk watched him warily.

Asher frowned, watching this newcomer worriedly. He didn't dare pull out his gun, this guy could easily shoot Kay before he could even raise the weapon. He stayed quiet, trying to understand the situation.

"What's going on, Esk?" James liked scared, and the First Law was trying to decide how to handle this.

[Stellan... calm down and put the gun away.] Kay wrote, watching the other man anxiously.

Esk shook his head. "This, is my piece of shit brother." He told James flatly. "Let me guess, you're on that cruise ship too right?"

Kay nodded slowly.

"Figures. Trouble always follows you."

"Wow, it's a real family reunion day, then," James joked weakly. "Can you please put the gun down? You're freaking us out."

"Do you really want this diseased monster on the ship?" Stellan asked James coldly. "Does your crew know what you are Kaylr?"

Kay lowered his head. [Some of them.]

Esk snorted. "Yeah, of course. need to know basis. Tell me, is that determined by how far from tearing their throats our you are or what?"

[Put the gun down.]

"Oh relax, i'm not going to shoot you here. We'd get your disgusting blood all over everything."

"Esk, please put the gun away' Dawn said, moving closer to getting between the two "I really don't want to use my powers"

"Don't get too close to him Dawn." Esk warned.

Kay exhaled deeply. [I'm not going to attack her for goodness sake!]

"you know, the Imperium would pay a pretty penny for your head. Well, your blood. They'd love to figure out how you aren't dead yet."

Luka came back in hearing some sort of argument. "What's going on?"

"The robot's bringing infected onto the ship." Esk told her casually.

Luka's eyes widened and she reached for her gun but didn't draw it.

"And apparently the people from his ship don't care, since they were with him for who knows how long, Esk. Just put the gun down and we can all calm down." Dawn said and put her hands on her hips.

Asher barely resisted the urge to move closer to Kay. "He's very careful, and he has the full support of everyone who knows," Asher said firmly.

"Diseased monster?" James asked, "What's he talking about?"

"You really think they know? " Esk countered. "You have no idea what he is."

"I do..." Luka looked terrified, staring at Kay in horror and disbelief. "How... how is he walking around?"

Kay tensed.

"We always assumed it was because his father's a shape shifter of some sort. "

"But.. he's sane!" Luka protested.

Esk snorted. "That's debatable."

Kay narrowed his eyes at his brother. [Stop this.]

Esk kept his eyes on Kay as he answered James. "Have you heard of the infected? Lycanthropy. My dear brother here, is a werewolf. A walking epidemic, feel lucky you're not organic, because he's highly infectious and could easily kill every single person on this ship without meaning to."

Dawn glanced to Kay with a frown then shook her head and looked to Esk again "If he threatens us, then you can pull your weapon, until then, put it away or I will take it from you. If I can keep you from being able to touch me, I can stop him from touching anyone else." She was getting angry now.

Esk stared Dawn down, sighed and holstered his gun. "Fine."

Kay looked relieved.

Luka still stared at him, but she hadn't drawn her weapon. She was keeping her distance. "Is.. is he really?" She asked.

Esk nodded.

Dawn sighed and nodded then turned to Kay again "Maybe you should explain..."

Kay looked pained. [He already put it as bluntly as possible. It's only transmitted through fluid exchange and believe me, I have no intention of biting anyone, bleeding on anything or sleeping with anybody right now.]

Esk folded his arms. "and they let you be a medic. " He said scornfully.

Dawn frowned then sighed "You talk by writing, I had my back to you" She said then shrugged "What about this crazy thing?"

[I don't wish any harm upon any of you people.] Kay assured her.

"Yet you'll still mange it. You always do." Esk spat. "I'm not clearing up another of your messes."

Kay lowered his head. [Stellan... Please.]

"Ten years, it's been ten years. Did you know that? And here I was thinking I was finally rid of the lot of you."

Dawn looked from one to the other curiously. Stellan?

"Kay handles the situation, and we provide support. You don't need to'clean up' anything," said Asher calmly.

"You never answered the question, how much of the crew is aware of what they have walking amongst them?" Esk asked flatly.

[They're in no danger.]

"they're always in danger. You're a biohazard."

[I keep my distance, just like you do.]

"Everyone here knows what I can do. They know WHY they have to keep away."

"We do." Dawn agreed and nodded then smiled "Well, except Vicky and James, they can touch you"

Asher looked confused.

"He sucks the life out of people by touching them," James explained.

"Oh," said Asher.

"Yeah what a family we are huh?" Esk shook his head. "Where's Mattias?" He asked at last.

[Probably getting drunk.]

Esk smirked a little at that. "Well at least you haven't gotten him killed yet."

"Does he kill by touch too?" Dawn asked curiously. This family was odd.

Kay shook his head

"He freezes things." Esk told her matter of factly. "I take after my father you see. LUCKY me." He spat.

Kay flinched.

"Maybe not lucky, but you have survived whay life gave you to overcome" Dawn said, looking to Esk again
